Tasty food, great value for money...gladly again

Very friendly, personable & courteous service! The food was also great - especially the very tasty Margherita pizza! Cozy furnishings if you're traveling with children... and of course the great view from the lakeside location. Everything perfect!

We went there for lunch today (3 adults and 3 children) spontaneously without a reservation. It was quite full, but still had space and supposedly had enough staff. Unfortunately we were left sitting there at first, drinks took a good 20 minutes and we had to wait so long for our food that if we had been there without children we would have gone three times, almost an hour. A child was already crying because many people got their food before us, even though we got there before them. We didn't have a special order (a stir-fry otherwise fried and salad, so you wouldn't think it was a huge effort), without a starter! Some of the service staff were new or had just had their first day, they were always trying hard, more or less. A temporary worker whose shoes could be resoled while walking... Our table waitress (probably just started there) you could see that she was close to tears! In the end we were met with 2.50 fr... well the mood was gone even though you go out to enjoy your meal. The taste was quite ok. We won't come again, that was a failure. A pity

A very nice place to stay, it's a shame that it doesn't seem to be possible to display the opening times correctly on the website, an A4 on the entrance door can't be the solution.

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon the restaurant or the garden full. Accordingly, it takes a while until you can order or receive your order. But the service was very friendly. Dogs were welcome and also received water. All common payment methods are accepted.

I can warmly recommend this restaurant. The first time (August 1st) we ate there with 12 people (including 3 children). We were served very courteously. Even the boss helped with service. The wine recommendation was tasty. We were all able to eat together, even though almost everyone ordered something different. The second time I ordered Scaloppine al limone. They were so delicious. The pulled pork burger the first time was also very tasty. For the second time, my companion ordered the chicken schnitzel from Alpstein Poulet with mushroom cream sauce, homemade linguine, and seasonal vegetables. He really enjoyed it both times. Thank you very much.

You cannot pay for take-away ice cream with a card, as cards are only accepted over a certain amount. Totally unacceptable in 2023.

We've been to this restaurant twice and both times it was bad service. The service is not friendly, you can tell that you don't feel like serving. The pizza was brought burnt and the mushrooms were just thrown on top. Very unfortunate

It took forever until I could order and then it took forever until the drink came.

Located directly at Kreuzligen harbor with a terrace and large indoor area. Everything seems clean but also essentially functional. Charming service. I didn't eat anything that wouldn't have been possible after 9:30 p.m. There are also wines outside of the table menu. Price level in Switzerland. It's nice that this restaurant exists here.

A great place with a beautiful view, close to the bicycle path, park and, above all, the port in Kreuzlegen.

The meat was butter tender. The potatoes were rather raw, the vegetables were very good, well cooked. The staff friendly.

Today I ordered a cold plate, the Vesper plättli. What a disappointment 2 slices of salami, 2 slices of spicy salami, 1½ slices of ham and 2 small pieces of cheese. Ok, it only cost 14.50. As a restaurateur, I can also do the math and what I got wasn't worth the price. A pity. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Friendly staff and nice location. Unfortunately, little is invested in the substance and this gives me the impression of decay. For example, in the men's toilet, all the handles are wrapped with adhesive tape so that they still hold in place. There was a soap dispenser on the floor and a hand dryer for everyone wasn't enough. Some of the floor plates in the extension are 1cm high so that you can trip if you are not careful.

For 5* in terms of ambience, a few more steps towards coziness would have to be taken!!

A great place when the weather is nice.

Have been there several times. The menu is manageable, the food is good. Waiting times for the dishes are on average 45 minutes and therefore too long.

Price-performance is quite ok. Food tastes very good, portions are a little small. The ambience corresponds to a train station restaurant, very simple, could be better and a little more stylish. On the whole, however, we can recommend it.

Very good location near the harbor. Bright rooms and only 4 minutes to the bus or train.

The ambiance is so perfect and service was great. We just had coffee and desserts in a late afternoon after a walk. I just think that the cheesecake can still be better, it's like an egg pie. The chocolate cake was super, my favourite and as well the apple strudel

Yesterday we and our club, 56 people, went to the annual meeting in the Alte Badi. The food was delicious and the service staff was very attentive, friendly and quick. The dessert rounded everything off. Thank you very much Fabrizio and your great team.

Unfortunately it seems to be impossible to reach Alte Badi by phone. Even if you call several times during opening hours (which are not exactly great for a restaurant), the phone is not picked up or you are simply pushed away. Very unfortunate.

I recently visited konstanz and stayed here. It was a wonderful experience. The owner was very sweet and friendly. The location was perfect. 10-15 mins walk from bodensee and konstanz city . Room and washroom was very clean and sanitary. View from the window was delightful too

The food was delicious and the service was super friendly. I thought it was great that you responded to guests' wishes. One star is deducted because of the fries. They were a little too salty. Maybe the chef was in love with that day 🙃

The restaurant has a great location. For dinner we had a portion of fish crispy, a Wiener schnitzel and a burger. This was all good/okay. It lacks a bit of the wow factor (for taste and eye). Staff was friendly, but could be a bit more attentive. Personally, I find it critical when a restaurant offers burgers, pizza and sushi. Where is the focus?

Had dinner on Sunday evening. Didn't have too many guests. There were 9 of us, starter was good, my main course was OK, the taste could still be improved. A little lacking in sophistication. Waiting time was a bit longer, but it worked. Service was friendly.

We had a pleasant dinner with our friends. The taste was good. The staff was attentive. We expected them to give us bread. But first we wanted to buy fried fish, and we found out after asking that it contained beer. I wish such information was written. Prices were medium.

The food menu is a hodgepodge of pizza, sushi, etc. Something for everyone, so that the walk-in customers have something. And this may be exactly the target group. We ate here twice when we were at the lake. In both cases the service was so bad that we definitely won't make a third attempt. Example: Forgotten water, wrong dish and so on. Therefore definitely not a recommendation.

Although the certificate requirement will only be lifted from February 16th, the certificate was not checked during our visit and the service staff wore the mask on their chin or not at all - I didn't think that was entirely ok... But the Egliknusperli were ok and the staff were very friendly.

Looks nice and the staff is friendly. But waiting an hour for a pizza and fries with schnitzel when the restaurant is half full is not possible. Seems normal here otherwise they would have said something

Bad service, unfriendly, far too long waiting times

Guests are seated outside. Three people in front of us were already waiting to be placed. The waitress didn't pay any attention to them, so they left. Because of this observation, we wanted to sit ourselves at a table that hadn't been reserved. Instead of being seated, we were rudely informed that the table was reserved. We drove home without drinking. Were in this restaurant for the last time.

We had an incredibly nice, attentive service who really made an effort to ensure that we had a lovely evening. The food is delicious and the prices are absolutely reasonable for Switzerland.

Very nice staff, eat quite quickly (approx. 20 minutes) good food. The salmon box, vegetable pan and the bratwurst were very tasty. Gladly again 👌👍

Very kind. They only "lost" it when it was time to pay (the CC machine didn't arrive). The beers are good (my wife had a lager on tap and I had a Weizen). But it couldn't be otherwise, given the area. The view of the lake is pleasant. Both my wife and I had a generous plate of Metzgete (pork from nose to tail: bacon, pork loin, wine sausage, liver sausage, black pudding, boiled potatoes, sauerkraut, mustard and apple mousse). Two espressos (never order coffee in German-speaking countries). Prices aligned with the territory.

This is my second actual bad review. Terrible place. Waitress didn’t see us and was serving other people who were behind us in he que. Then she ignored us so I had to call her and told her why we had to wait even though it isn’t that full. She didn’t apologize and said that we have to wait. Not a proper answer. Anyway, don’t come here if you want service for the terrible food and high prices.

Most beautiful place in Kreuzlingen Switzerland

Food OK but nothing special. The salad was swimming in sauce (too much for my taste). The location is nice, right on the lake. Unfortunately, the interior was also very carelessly furnished. The cappuccino was very good. I cannot confirm the long waiting times that are often mentioned here. Our food came very quickly.

We had a nice evening, as there was a live concert of mainly German music and then with the great American hits. Very good cocktails and friendly service. We sat on the sofas outside. Nice atmosphere. The rosé gin and tonic is worth a try.
