We were there for brunch. Quality: oh well. That's how it went. The price/performance ratio is not right at all for a brunch (normal price of CHF 64). Drinks are extra. Only coffee and juice is included. We don't go there anymore because you expect a lot more for the price

We had brunch in the most beautiful spring weather, we were very happy. Beautiful ambience! When we found out that it costs COFFEE from the second, we were slightly upset, at 68 fr it should be possible to drink two. I've never experienced anything like that... Unfortunately, rolls weren't refilled and the staff was slightly overwhelmed, especially our waiter, who was nice but didn't seem to be happy with us. The hot food was very modest, so it came to the plate cold. Maybe it would be better to offer a soup or a salad Price performance is not consistent for us.

Excellent cuisine and courteous staff in the kitchen and in service. Top management with a committed managing director on site. I can only warmly recommend it. Various great rooms and halls for all possible occasions. An insider tip!!! In particular, a crime dinner spectacle can be booked for any kind of occasion.

Went to Seeburg for Sunday brunch. Very good quality of food, large selection at the buffet. The main course served was also very good. The rooms are very stylishly furnished. The only thing that bothered us were the two dogs in the dining room. The smell was unpleasant and disturbing for us.

Ideal for a romantic candlelight dinner in a rustic atmosphere. The food is excellent and the service is appropriately stylish.

We chose this restaurant for our wedding dinner. Very helpful and approachable staff. Excellent food and exceptional service. The waiter who served us was very attentive. Possibility of doing an encore. Excellent value for money. Very suggestive location during daylight hours.

Wonderful place, ideal for weddings

We wanted to have a drink in the garden at 3:20pm on a Sunday afternoon. We were reluctantly served and were told that they were slowly closing and weren't actually serving guests anymore… But they are open until 5 p.m. This was also confirmed to us when we asked. Otherwise more and more guests would come. Another time there was a closed party on Sunday and we went there in vain. No notice on the website. We definitely won't be coming back again.

Price/performance and service inadequate. Starters 2 celery salad and 2 corn cob salad ordered, 3 celery and 1 corn were served. Both were very bland, celery was watery, you had to look for walnuts, the mangoes described were missing from the corn salad, but we were treated to 2 ice cream instead. Main courses without imagination and bland. Tatar very special, hand cut, fried, house bread, well, 150g for 42, I expect more. Were served by 3 people, no one knew who ordered what! Ordered 2 scoops of ice cream: 1 nut, 1 plum, 2 plums were delivered. Ordered 1 panna cotta, served completely iced panna cotta. The boss also showed up and inquired, when we pointed out panna cotta ice cream, he said: it shouldn't be like that, he was looking in the kitchen and then he wasn't seen again! The server then apologized. Given this location and the prices, I expect more! Don't become a repeat offender! Mistakes can happen, but there were too many and then the boss's reaction, or was it just the 4th server?

We have booked a room for a seminar. Everything went well - even with initial challenges. The castle has a stately flair. The location right on the lake is simply fantastic! The drinks service staff are great. We were here for the second time and would love to come back.

Simply a fantastic location, right on the lake, with very friendly and courteous service, a very tasty and creative range of food with a regional reference and a wonderful ambience. We can only recommend it. Hence 5 stars in all areas

5 Stars. Clearly. Brunch on Sunday followed by the main course for lunch is a great idea. We were warmly welcomed and served. The brunch buffet is beautifully presented and you can fill your stomach. Everything fresh and delicious. The main course (meatloaf with polenta) was very tasty. However, I have two small points of criticism: - we almost died from the warmth. A little more air wouldn't be a mistake (tilt the window) - The service staff should come to the table a little more to ask for fresh drinks and whether everything is OK :-) They'll definitely be happy to pay for it. Briefly about the location and surroundings: - very well maintained and clean - The surrounding area is awesome and invites you to take a nice walk We'll definitely come back.

Both the food and the service are excellent. The only thing i think could be improved is the decorations. The dining room was plain, missing things like paintings or sculptures or other decoration one might expect in a castle. Apart from that, everything else very good.

Attentive, courteous service and good food.

We were in Konstanz yesterday, but during our walk we wandered over to the Swiss side of Lake Constance. Once there we went through a beautiful park, past cute animals, to Seeburg Castle. Turned once around the corner and then into the beautiful, cozy outdoor area. Everything was very well maintained. We lingered in a small lounge in the shade. It was a little chilly, but there were clean blankets ready to make yourself comfortable with. The waitresses were very attentive, friendly and accommodating. Prices for Switzerland are really great. We'll be back to eat something there (hence 1 star less because we can't judge the food). Toilets extremely clean, warm water from the tap. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Beautiful, old, venerable castle with a wonderful view. The kitchen is a bit special (look at the menu online!). Desserts are fine. Cigar butts available.

We went to Seeburg Castle on Sunday for Advent breakfast. We were welcomed very friendly. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly. Next time we would like to come for lunch or dinner.

I was there for a wedding and the food was very good. The atmosphere is very nice, we had a beautiful view of Lake Constance

The ambience of the restaurant is very harmonious and beautiful. The food and service are also highly recommended. Points are deducted because I reserved three weeks in advance for the raclette evening with wine tasting. Even the day before the meal, I received a reminder email from the restaurant. But when we ate there that day, we were handed the normal menu and told that the raclette evening had been canceled due to a lack of sufficient reservations. The whole thing left us very disappointed. A rejection by phone or email would have been appropriate.

First class service. We would have expected more from the food.

The food was good, the location was unique. However, the service leaves something to be desired. So we first had to ask if we still had wine and then even pour it ourselves. A little more attention would be good here. For example, I like a little lemon with my mineral water, but with the perch fillet, at least asking if you would like some more lemon is part of the standard service. Although the terrace was almost empty and there was enough space in the front rows, a table at the back was reserved and assigned to us and we were only allowed to move to the front when we asked. It's always a question of price/performance. Given the price here, the performance should be higher.

Very nice surroundings with a wonderful view of Lake Constance

The ambience is very nice. The food was excellent, top quality and beautifully prepared! Unfortunately I have to deduct one star for the service. Everything went smoothly upon arrival. But when it came to refilling drinks, the service declined. After the main course we sat there for 45 minutes without a drink and the waiter asked if we had anything else we wanted. It took a very long time before we were finally able to get someone's attention to ask for the dessert menu, even though not all the tables were occupied. We thought that was a shame. In this price range I expect more attentive service. As already mentioned, the food was absolutely delicious and recommended!

A unique location on Lake Constance where everything fits together: regional and seasonal cuisine with attention to detail, hospitality, great wines and a beautiful terrace. The best address to enjoy beautiful moments. I don't know of any restaurant in the region that embodies all of these characteristics and provides such culinary delight.

Everything is a wonderful dream

Beautifully located restaurant in the middle of the Seepark with a wonderful view of Lake Constance. We were there for my mother's birthday. We were placed in one of the private rooms. The ambience is really like a castle with beautiful, ornate, heavy furniture. The friendly and courteous service really made us feel like noble damsels. The dishes are prepared with a lot of love, with lots of details and sweet little flowers. As a surprise, a small, tasty greeting came from the kitchen. Even the manager stopped by and asked us how it tasted. My mother was very happy. Highly recommended, anytime again :)

We were allowed to have our registry office in October. Celebrate your wedding at Seeburg Castle and we can only recommend that anyone who is looking for a top location with a fantastic atmosphere and sensational food and service book there! It couldn't have been more perfect! A huge big thank you to the entire team at this point.

Excellent place to celebrate festivals. Located directly on Lake Constance with a view of Lake Constance from the outdoor terrace. Great atmosphere. Excellent food.

We had the pleasure of enjoying a beer and dine at Seeburg a week ago. (By the way, a great gift tip for your beloved beer-drinking partner ;)) What can you say... Despite a dragon wedding taking place at the castle at the same time, the chef and future head host and beer sommelier Marc Wöhrle himself looked after us both with a lot of passion (only the two of us took advantage of the beer and dine offer (actually a scandal in terms of quality)) taken care of. Food  Top level, very creative, not exaggerated and tastes TOP. Beer accompaniment including anecdotes :) Excellent - very varied and chosen to match the dishes. Highest recommendation from us to try it out and recommend it. The only disadvantage: “Normal” beer drinking becomes a bit boring for a few days afterwards…

Unique, historic location on the lake, excellent cuisine, trained and always friendly service, whereby a certain hectic pace from male waiters is not necessary... less is often more. Terrace is an oasis of peace. In this day and age, having a Chef de Service (female) with so much competence and customer friendliness is more than worth its weight in gold...thank you.

The food was well presented and delicious. The ambiance perfect on the terrace but the waiter bordered on rude. Refused to acknowledge he had served me black tea when I requested fruit tea. He just ignored my request. Only when I went to the chief of service was this corrected. Surprisingly poor service in such a fine restaurant. Not what we expected

Great property right on the lake. Of course hardly affordable for German guests. Don't forget to look at the great garden behind the castle. Perfect place for awesome photos. Also practical: the registry office has a branch here, a great place for a wedding.

We were able to celebrate our wedding in the Seeburg at the end of August 2021. Civil wedding, free ceremony in the castle garden and aperitif - all in one place. That in itself is just great. The preparations with the planning team went smoothly, uncomplicated and professional at all times. There are real wedding professionals at work, which we were able to feel again and again. Our big day was blessed with beautiful weather and many beautiful moments. And the Seeburg team also contributed a large part to this.
