I love Amalo’s pinse. The dough is “light” and the ingredients are of very good quality (you can also “customise” the pinsa to suit your taste).

I traveled from Germany to Zurich for sightseeing. This location was recommended to me from Trier and I actually ate here on my birthday and I was really impressed. I had a vegetarian dish with haloumi. Meeega!!! Always my pleasure!

Today we ate freshly made pistachio ice cream here, which was a real treat. The forest fruit ice cream was also delicious. The employee served us very friendly. We can highly recommend eating ice cream here.

Waited over the counter 35 minutes for 4 crepes. The result was overwhelming: a ton of salt and pieces of glass in my crepes (I almost swallowed glass)

Tried my first pinsa in Ticino after ordering pinsa a couple of times in my hometown. Good and fresh quality and the owner is very enthusiastic and gives you information about the history of the company and the product. Overall experience is very good but I don't know why he charged me CHF 19.- for just a take away caprese pinsa which was CHF 15.- on the online menu when I checked afterwards. This is why I rate 4 instead of 5 stars until I know the answer.

The two of us were looking for a delicious pinsa and came across Amalo via Google. We have to say: FORTUNELY! Very friendly and open-minded service, who is happy to chat with you and tell you about his impressive career. The pinsa was very tasty, to the point and also available as a half/half version. The Pinsa at David’s place is one of the best I ever had! You know the feeling when you eat somewhere for the first time and it’s heaven but the second time it just isn’t as good as the first time? You already know the food and it’s taste and know that it will be good but no surprise. But this time it wasn’t like that, the second Pinsa was as delicious and exquisite as the first one! The combination of the toppings are divine (really all of them) and the crust is so crunchy and light. I am sad we didn’t have the time to try the gelato since it’s freshly made. Hopefully on our next trip to Lugano!

Wow, wow, wow, the food here is spectacular!!! This is the type of hidden gem that will have people lining up the door or you’ll find featured on a travel food show. We came upon this place by accident because we were in the mood for pizza. Instead, we found pinsa which is a antique Roman method of “pizza”, made with a mix of flours and fermented for 3 days. We ordered a half prosciutto crudo and half mortadella pistachio. Each bite was perfect, delicately crunchy on the outside and pillow soft inside. We ended up ordering another because it was phenomenal! The gelato was also mouth watering, a thick, creamy buttery texture. Silvio, the passion is demonstrated in your mastery of Pinsa and gelato, you are a true artisan. Eating here was a pleasure and a delightful experience, we will definitely return when we visit Lugano!

Absolutely delicious ice cream 🍨 all handmade and the best was the lactose free ice cream made with local organic apples 🍏 and was tasting so fresh ! Never tried any ice cream like that before 🙏 And the dark chocolate ice cream fondente made with 70 % pure chocolate it’s like a paradise inside your mouth you just can’t stop and btw kids loooooove it 👍 They sell pinsa as well gluten free and so fresh ! And their fresh juices made from great tasty veggies and fruit just give you a kick ! I can highly recommend this place 🙏

Let's start with the courtesy of the owner which nowadays is anything but taken for granted. Yesterday was the first time I ate pinsa and I fell in love with it! 72 hours of leavening = digestibility ensured. I suffer from hiatal hernia and when something is difficult to process my stomach immediately makes itself felt, yesterday no sign. Super good, super light, super tasty. Super! I'll definitely be back because it was really good! I also discovered that they also do workshops for children to create their own ice cream!

We are not. My wife got a scoop of pistachio ice cream and it had chunks of ice in it. The gentleman at the counter guaranteed that it was freshly made... he left us very perplexed because the ice cream wasn't even displayed in the window but in a freezer. The pistachio flavor is also questionable. To be an Italian brand we are not there.

I tried the pinsa today: excellent, nothing to complain about: even after an hour sitting there in the box, it is still fragrant and delicious. Nothing to say about quality. While on the price, well, CHF 10/12 for a half slice seems too much to me, even if it has risen for 72 hours. Okay, they offer you a drink, but frankly it seems too expensive to me. And every time someone has opened in this corner of Lugano, they have always failed due to too high prices. So be careful, because for the quality it's really worth going there. Good luck anyway.

We have been their service provider for many months. For almost three years they have still had to pay invoices for services provided. We obviously accept the excuses they continue to give us in this regard, but the patience they ask us to have for a little longer is truly incomprehensible.
