La Fonte in Lugano

A great place to study between classes with a snack and a cappuccino. I particularly recommend the Christmas cookies and desserts with a hot chocolate!

My colleagues say brioches were not fresh, and were lacking filling.. Dogs are not allowed, which is absolutely their right, but not a frequent thing in Lugano, so it took me by surprise.

Since our coffee machine broke in our department, many of my colleagues and I started taking coffee from this place everyday. Their coffee is tasty and the atmosphere is great. I bet that’s why we haven’t bought a new coffee machine yet.

The brioches are always a little poofy, they seem to have been made the day before. The rest good

March 9th right before 5p.m. the waitress wearing grey jumper with snoopy was very rude, by closing the door by key in-front of our nose and staring at us with the most unfriendly facial expression.

The staff is very welcoming and kind. The products offered, in addition to being very good and of excellent quality, are also at a good price.

I have been going there almost every week day for the past 20 months. They make one of the best brioches and gipfel in town. Almost all their breads are amazing. They also offer special seasonal drinks.

You can find very good handcrafted things at good prices and with good courtesy and hospitality

Beautiful project, excellent pastry products, well done!

Staff always very friendly and helpful; they are always smiling and want to do their job well. The baked goods are REALLY good and there is a wide choice, I particularly appreciate the buttered gipfels and the savory dishes. The prices are affordable, I have a breakfast like a king spending little, compared to the quality/price of other bars. It will definitely become my "go-to" bar!

Very friendly staff and excellent coffee, however I do not recommend the croissants *EDIT* Let me start by saying that I haven't had the opportunity to try your brioches many times, so it may be that mine is an isolated case; however, the brioches I took had to be filled, when I ate them I discovered that in one the filling was completely absent and the other had a minimal part concentrated only in the centre.

I love their products, all of them - breads, cookies, sweets etc.
