Amarone in Bad Zurzach

Very warm welcome, excellent pizza, lovely terrace and divine wine. Thanks to Pascal and his entire team. And long live the motorcycle ;-)

When and a colleague unknowingly arrived two minutes before opening time, we were warmly welcomed. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing I had to say about this restaurant. My colleague asked the waiter if they had risotto and what variants they offered. The question was answered with: "I'll do anything for you." Only after my colleague asked for the card was it handed over to him, which only had a note on it: risotto. He ordered a porcini mushroom risotto and I ordered a pizza tonno and a salmon tartare to take away. The pizza was quite cold at home (about 3-5) later but not too bad. The salmon tartare that I chose from the “Weekly Recommendations” board was actually a shrimp tartare in a bath of vinegar, inedible apart from the fact that I didn’t order this dish! My colleague who ordered a porcini mushroom risotto received a tomato risotto with porcini mushrooms in it, which according to him wasn't particularly good either. So overall this restaurant didn't leave a good impression at all. In addition, the prices are far too high for a place like this! NEVER AGAIN!!!

We wanted to go to Amarone for dinner last night, August 27th, 2021. Everything around the restaurant was locked. My phone calls said that this number was no longer in service...what does that mean?

Employees very demotivated. This is probably because wages are not paid. We noticed that 🤔

We ate very well and received friendly service. Good explanations to our questions. We will be back.

Always my pleasure. The pizzas are really fine, thin base and fresh ingredients. Straight from the stone oven. The aperitif platters are always individual, put together as desired, and the main courses are reminiscent of holidays in Italy. (Spaghetti Vongole, lasagne, etc.) The staff is always open to guests' requests and, above all, very friendly and attentive. Always happy before Corona, and now, AN OASIS OF NORMALITY with all the necessary protective measures. What more do you want. Grazie mille...

Excellent meal, pleasant service and very pretty terrace.

The cuisine is fine, tasty, we really enjoyed eating it. Pizzas are praised, we wanted something lighter late in the evening, so we opted for starters - fish and spaghetti with seafood. Plus a good bottle of white wine. Fantastic! At a dinner like this I ask myself: where can you get such fresh seafood in the middle of Europe? Thank you dear Pasquale, we'll be happy to come back.

We came across the Pizzeria Amarone by chance. We were warmly welcomed personally by the boss. The food was very fine. Very fine and large pizzas. Price performance TOP. Would visit this restaurant again at any time if we are in the area. Keep it up. Bravo.

The food is a real dream. Really really good! The pizza was especially good. The owner is an Italo-Tuttlingen native and an old schoolmate from primary school in Tuttlingen. I can only recommend Keep it up Pasquale P.

We had a very long wait before we even got the card. Two pizzas were at the table within 30 minutes of ordering. Unfortunately, the base was almost not baked, which is why the pizza was so mediocre... The empty plates were not cleared away by the waiter in the entire dining room, so we and the other guests had to sit in front of empty plates. The waiter didn't show up and we couldn't pay the bill sitting down but went to the counter. The overall package wasn’t right for us.

My team of 4 walked in on a Monday sans reservations and were immediately seated. Although other patrons were mostly locals and couples, the staff was very friendly and helped us with translation when needed. Pizza was very nice, and right out of the oven with slightly blistered crust. The salads were large and dressings flavorful. Mushroom pasta was delicious. Hoping I get to return

Super friendly service. Fresh mushrooms and a great ham on the pizzas. Dessert with fresh fruit and a brilliant cake... what more could you want! Absolutely recommended.

We had dinner in the restaurant or outside on the garden terrace. Pretty spontaneous, but I'm very happy about it because I haven't eaten something so tasty in a long time! We had entrecote, as a side dish there was a salad and croquettes (you could also use fries) our son had a separate portion of fries. The salad and fries for our son were served within a very short time and were very tasty. When the entrecote arrived, mmhh it was a dream. Served very lovingly and exactly how we wanted it - well done and a slightly larger piece for my partner. The ambience was absolutely amazing, the host and his waitress, a young gentleman with glasses, were very accommodating, polite and patient. The host decorated our son's ice cream with a lollipop since there was no children's ice cream left, which showed his love for the job. A true RESTAURANT. At the end there was a very nice, funny conversation with the host and coffee and limoncello on the house. Thank you for this top service and we wish you continued success. It was a successful evening and I'll probably dream about the delicious meat tonight. Thanks to the Amarone team, keep it up.

We found Ristorante Amarone for dinner by chance and were very excited about it! We haven't eaten such delicious and good Italian food in a long time - it was very good. The seafood spaghetti was fresh and very good and the starter and dessert were also excellent. The friendly, Italian service makes you realize that this is a restaurant run from the heart and with a lot of love. Please keep it up - we'll definitely be back next time! Very decent meal but very expensive. There was an error on the invoice. The employee apologized but the reimbursement made by her colleague was not complete. We feel like we've been fooled.

Very tasty food at a very fair price. Today we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy a live singer, great music!

Quite nice as a pizzeria during your lunch break. Not a sophisticated cuisine, but absolutely okay during your lunch break (or between two business meetings). And if you also rate the friendliness: 4 stars.

Worst restaurant I've ever eaten at. The tablecloths were dirty. We (2 people) waited 1 hour for our pizza in an almost empty restaurant (just us, another table and 2 guests at the bar). They had run out of penne and the tiramisu that they had offered us as an apology was also gone. 4 people who came later received their food individually and about 15 apart. The service was also arrogant and thought it was funny that we were upset. I've never experienced anything like this... Sad!
