Small bakery with lots of delicious things

Two stars just because the products are great. The service is so unfriendly, you wouldn't think that the customer is bothering them with something more important and not that they are doing their job. I can't recommend it. There are other bakeries and other shops in Bad Zurzach that are much more worthwhile.

Fresh bread, friendly service and open on Sundays.

Nut peaks large and fine. Cafe ok. I can't judge the rest. Café in the middle of the city.

Opening times are a disgrace. And white pieces of paper on the window are strange in the internet age. You can only shop there in Germany. Opening hours all week only until 1 p.m. is not possible.

I went to see Beck Maier for the first time today. Was I really confused about whether I had to go in on the left or the right? The display looked promising. Wanted to buy bread rolls. Unfortunately, the communication was so bad that I couldn't understand the saleswoman. And I've been in Switzerland for 12 years. Then I went to the competition and got my rolls. A pity.

Friendly and quick. Coffee wasn't to my taste. Small selection, but fine and fresh.

Quite okay The Maier Beck is also in Laufenburg (CH), main store. We recommend the corn croissants 😋😋😋. The staff is always friendly and accommodating 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

The very best pretzel croissants I've ever had, again and again. Great selection of spelled pastries and generally very fine breads. I was a bit disappointed with an onion sandwich recently; it contained bacon, which was not declared as such, which was no joy for vegetarians, as the vegetarian sandwich selection was also rather modest at the time (12:00, Friday). The chocolates and patisserie are highly recommended.

Highly recommended, nice service

Nice staff and a good selection of breads, pastries and something in between. Coffee is good and you can sit on the alley or take a seat inside. You can park directly in front of the bakery. Drop in!

We found out about this bakery by chance via the too good to go app. I can only recommend. The products were great. The sweet rolls (in the shape of a turtle) but also the bread were very tasty. The low carb grain bread was especially great. Lovely again. The vanilla peaks are also great.

Best chocolate croissant I have had outside of Paris. You can smell the croissants baking from outside, which is amazing too. Ladies who work here are extremely friendly. I highly recommend coming here

Great location right in the center of Bad Zurzach. The selection of fresh and delicious things is large. The café also offers some seating outside, which is very appreciated on hot days. At this point I would like to say a big thank you to Ms. Maier, who served us very courteously yesterday. Lovely again !!!

For once, I gave the bakery another chance today. Pointless. The product is simply not good. Whether it's a sandwich, roll or cake, the stuff tastes at Migros level... pretty subterranean. Admittedly, since my wife bakes bread herself, I'm used to a high standard and most of today's "bakeries", which only bake frozen goods from the central bakery, simply can't keep up. But Frei, for example, is still noticeably better than Maier. I will simply avoid this company logo in the future. Either they don't understand their craft or they have optimized it for profit. What I don't understand is how they want to stay in Zurzach. Just over the border there are Aldi and Lidl, both of which sell surprisingly good baked goods for a lot less money. There is the Eedeka, various farm shops with super fine bread. Maier belongs to the Zurich HB, where people eat everything, as long as it happens quickly. At Mor the service may be a bit terrible, but the products...let's just say you buy the fact that they aren't mass-produced.

Never again. We got 2 Berliners. The Berliners were old. They tasted like stale fat and the jam was extremely artificial. Unfortunately the saleswoman didn't speak German either. She couldn't answer my question as to whether this was a pastry with nuts. I'm not even sure if she even understood my question.

Very good and friendly service. The baked goods are/were fresh and very tasty, as are the sandwiches. So overall, highly recommended 😊

Chocolate croissants were delicious, as were crispy croissants. (hence 2 stars instead of 1) Pretzel stick sandwich was very dry (the only "moist" thing in it was the pickle and ham). The service would have "deserved" 1 star, no greeting when entering the restaurant (no other customers present). The employees preferred to chat with each other, even when I was in front of the counter. The sales process was friendly and competent. However, no thank you or goodbye at the end. My farewell was also not returned. It was better to say “Hoi” to the next customer and serve them.

The selection of rolls is large...but unfortunately these rolls are anything but fresh. You would expect more from a bakery. In the future I will probably buy my rolls from Migros or Coop again. The selection is probably smaller, but they are still crispy and fresh.

Great coffee and good variety of bakery products. With fasnacht in full swing , it has aĺl the bells and whistles of it. Staff is very polite, helpful and friendly. Papa moll is having a good time here.
