VitalBoutique Hotel Zurzacherhof in Bad Zurzach in Bad Zurzach

We stayed at the VitalBoutique Hotel Zurzacherhof for 2 nights. The entrance area and the restaurant are very nicely designed. In the corridors to the rooms and in the rooms themselves, it is very simple and sober and the rooms are older. BUT it has been gently renovated, has beautiful floors AND everything is clean! There is a large, ugly stain on the carpet in the hallway on the 3rd floor. I had already read this in a review beforehand. It looks very unpleasant and I would address the problem. The house is rather ring-sounding. The staff is attentive and friendly, the price-performance ratio is simply TOP - as you have a lot of included services, such as unlimited entry to the Zurzach thermal baths with sauna area! The breakfast buffet was very fine and varied. There was only one lady as a service specialist at the buffet, she always had to bring everything back to the kitchen to be refilled, had to clear the tables...she had a lot to do! She did very well and remained very friendly even under the greatest stress! I would recommend doing the buffet in the morning with at least 2 people. Because it wasn't possible for her to do everything on her own.

Friendly reception with all information about the hotel and thermal spa. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and beautifully presented. The house is getting old, but has a nice charm if you want to see it. It is clean and well maintained. The rooms are beautifully renovated, great beds and a great bathroom. Be sure to ask for a shower mat. The entire staff was courteous, attentive and friendly. Breakfast had a nice selection and was very tasty. Thank you very much for the great stay.

We treated ourselves to a 3-day wellness break with a good friend. We each booked a single room. My room was great, I even had a slightly larger bed and a Nespresso machine in the room. :-) There was also a small refrigerator, but I had the feeling that it wasn't cooling, but that didn't bother me. The room and bathroom were clean and everything I needed was there. The hotel is a bit old and not particularly modern, but there is a lot on offer for a relatively affordable price. Free parking just across the street, entry to the thermal baths on the day of arrival and departure, bathing bag with bathrobe and towel, delicious and rich breakfast with a coffee machine where you can choose various preparations yourself. One evening we ate in the hotel restaurant. The food was very tasty and the prices were reasonable. We particularly liked the lemongrass soup with honey chicken skewer. I would be very happy about the recipe! ;-) All in all, it was a very relaxed and great weekend. The staff - especially the receptionist on our departure day - were very friendly and accommodating. I would love to come back and am looking forward to it. PS: Two years ago I was there for a weekend with my husband and child. Back then we stayed in the limp barrel right next to the hotel and did the Papa Moll route. Even then it was a great experience for us and I remembered the hotel. It was clear to me that if I was going to treat myself to a weekend break, it would only be at the Therme Zurzach and the VitalBoutique Hotel.

We had booked a Papamoll room. Our children really liked this and of course we did too. very friendly staff Great breakfast buffet for children too Dinner was also great, even with children in the PapaMoll restaurant. Coloring a map was a great way to bridge the waiting time

I always enjoy coming to the VitalBoutique Hotel. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are also very good and clean. Very close to the thermal baths and bus stop. I would love to come back.

Our stay at the Vital-Boutique zu Zacherhof was simply wonderful! My mother and I enjoyed our overnight stay in a cozy corner room on the second floor. We were warmly greeted upon check-in and immediately felt welcome. Although there was initially only one robe and spa towel in the room, the staff was extremely helpful and responded promptly when we asked for a second set. Dinner was delicious, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide selection to suit all tastes. Our departure went smoothly, and we will definitely be back! Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

We were there for the second time. Both times we booked the Papa Moll family room. On the first visit, our then 3-year-old daughter had toys in the room, which was super cool for the little one. That's why we decided to book the arrangement again. This time it was a disaster, a room without toys, even though my daughter is now 5 years old, and only two beds with foam mats covered with duvets were put in the shared room for the little one. Loveless. We started talking to another family who also had a Papa Moll family room with children aged 10 and 8 and they had toys for small children, and the children also had a small plush on their pillows, which we didn't have. Very inappropriately divided by the reception. Considering how much a night in a family room costs. Not exactly cheap. At the reception they had no interest in our request because the answer came that we were completely booked. Very unfortunate.

We spent one night and an evening meal, good experience but we regret as a French-speaking person that no information is in French, is this the case throughout this region? The Receptionist told us that he did not speak French and later with other customers we heard that he mastered this language? At breakfast there is no space, the freed tables are not cleaned for a second installation! But hey we still love the people and this region and we will come back there

I don't know what this hotel has to do with a boutique hotel. The individual touch was completely missing, as was loving furnishings. There was nowhere to stay except the restaurant. The rooms are very sober, without charm. There wasn't even body lotion or flip flops (not even for an extra charge) and that for a hotel next to a thermal bath! I definitely expect more from a so-called boutique hotel. The only thing that was convincing and excellent was the food! Very tasty and authentic from breakfast to dinner!

The location of the hotel and the breakfast are a plus point for the hotel. The hotel room is getting old. The wet room had no ventilation, which is not so advantageous when using the toilet. I have for 25 Fr. Romantic decoration booked. Not recommended. I expected rose petals and maybe two or three roses. However, there were two electric candles, a few wooden hearts, a scrap of fabric on the bed and the blankets were formed into a heart. So nothing for which you have to pay 25 francs. should shell out. Very disappointing. Luckily I didn't plan a marriage proposal xD

We were there for the second time and would love to come back. Great location (less than 100m from the thermal bath, easily accessible by public transport), staff very accommodating, helpful and friendly, price-performance ratio fair, very child-friendly (playroom for the little ones, possibility to eat in a separate room, colored pencils and coloring templates, children's menu is prepared very quickly served). It's a shame that there is only a vegan option in the restaurant.

The reception was friendly. We were immediately asked if we would like to reserve a table for dinner at the hotel. If you want dinner at 6 p.m. you have to make a reservation and there is always a table available from 8 p.m. When we wanted to go to the restaurant at 8:50 p.m. we were told there was no chance without a reservation. The breakfast is very extensive and delicious. Unfortunately there was far too little space for so many guests and there was always a crowd. On the day we left, they finally opened a side room so we could have breakfast there too. Why not earlier? By the way, a single service person had to manage everything alone. Re-set tables, clear dishes, refill drinks and food. I think a second service person would have been appropriate for so many guests. The room was clean, the mattresses were sagging foam mattresses and totally unbearably soft. As a result, back pain was inevitable (lumbago on the last day). The holder for the cosmetic mirror in the bathroom was torn out. During the night curtain, the last 2-3 gliders were not hanging in the curtain rail. There would be stops for the curtain rail that would prevent this.
