American Burger & Steak House-Grill House in Flims

I had dinner at the Grill House twice. The food was great across the board, perfectly fried, perfectly seasoned, very good. What is particularly worth highlighting is the service. The waiter really enriched the meal with his friendly and courteous manner. Both visits were perfect and the prices are very fair.

Great place to go for dinner after skiing. It was the first time I tasted bison prepared on a fire grill and it was an unforgettable experience. The next day we were very hungry, so we chose the extensive buffet and again we were extremely satisfied. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. I highly recommend it 💛

The sign outside looks like really good burgers - which unfortunately is all there is to it! The food tastes like ready-made cheddar sauce from the Coop & the burger bread was bought ready-made - and not worthy of a burger shop - not at all what you would expect from an American burger. The burger meat was also far too small for the bread. And just put the ready-made cheddar sauce in there. The waitress was also surprised when we said we were disappointed. You can make a burger like this better yourself! A pity!

The menu on the website does not match what is available on site. (As starters there is only a salad and soup buffet, Buger is only available in the Burgerhouse) It was misleading and a bit disappointing for us. Side dishes were tasty, but the meat was not of the quality we would have expected. The service was friendly, but ultimately the price/performance didn't match for us.

Food was good. I just think it's a shame that the website wasn't up to date.

Yesterday I ate a very good burger (pulled pork), I don't know if the owner has anything to do with America, but the burgers are better here. I recommend with confidence. I'll be back

The food was very good and the portions were generous yet we were disappointed because what we wanted to have had disappeared from the new menu which was shorter than the older versions, maybe because it was evening or off season. Prices are high, as in all the area.

Food, service and atmosphere mediocre. If you want a nice steak then go elsewhere. There is a much better option in Laax for (same price (+\~), with service and atmosphere in the Champions League). This resto charges premium, unfortunately: plastic bottles of water, overcooked meat (small portions), not enough staff….do not justify the price. House wine was ok but didn’t make up for everything else. I appreciate the fact the Manager responded (however i can not reply directly). To answer the question: I was with a group of four and the reservation was in the name of a friend. If the manager could send a private message I can respond.

I found this restaurant because I was looking for a little place with grilled specialties, and I was lucky! Delicious meat, divinely cooked. The place is nice, intimate, even if large. Even though I came here out of season and found a limited menu, I ate well thanks to the excellent advice. There are vegetarian alternatives. Absolutely worth a try if you've never been there!

I ordered from them, the food is simply delicious, the portion is absolutely enough and great, the nuggets are not frozen but homemade cheeseburger awesome and the tips are just awesome and the sauces 🤤 the price is justified, the delivery was earlier than expected.

Good value for money. This place is just very conveniently located in a hotel next to the Flims cable car. Food selections mostly meat oriented as you can expect Decent portions, at the least the burger was quite generous. Quick and good service

I was very enthusiastic, super nice/friendly staff, chef came over quickly in person. As a chef colleague, a huge chapeau for the Super Angus fillet with the potatoes/vegetables (super seasoned/still had a bite) and chimichurri was great Burger was just as great with potatoes👍garlic sauce 1a👍 Simply to recommend. The ambience is rustic but fits exactly what you need...

We were not very hungry, so we just had the "Flammkuchen" and the spare ribs and they were really tasty. Staff was nice and we were lucky because it was not crowded for dinner.

From a grill house of this type I expect a burger that delivers something with a real quality patty. Instead, there was a thin slice of meat that was put together, which didn't make the impression that it was enjoyable just by looking at it. We're not talking about the bread roll now. The meat was even worse than the sight, and it cost over SFr. 30.-! The consequences were stomach cramps... maybe not again.

7 days journey in Flims and it’s the 3rd time we came here 🤍 definitely the best burgers around!! My husband tried the beef every time and you can definitely tell the cook is specialized in his skills! 👌🏼 Huge portions, very tasty food and super friendly service! 10/10 recommend!

Well, this restaurant is not “American”. The Angus steak was good, but the chicken nuggets were unfortunately overcooked and therefore dry. Service was OK, the atmosphere is rather cold.

I was with my husband, the place is very nice, we ordered a hamburger for him and a mixed plate (wings and ribs) for me, both dishes very tasty😋! The service was very good 😃!, very attentive; It is preferable to book in advance, especially in high season.

Absolute disaster!!! Should do it! What did we order: 1/2 chicken with fries and mixed salad as a starter. Mixed salad was great! Fries were good! Chicken was not recognizable as such! It didn't taste like it either, it was pink and bled... Never again!

Last weekend, I went with my friend to Switzerland. In the evening, we went to Grill House Flims, a nice restaurant. When we entered, we saw that the atmosphere was pleasant, and the waiters were very nice to us and found us a free table with a beautiful view. A waiter took our order and smiled at us as he brought us the food. I ordered the burger. The burger was probably the best I've ever had. I hope I will go there again because I really enjoyed the service, the food and the atmosphere. I totally recommend this restaurant to everyone!

We had a steak & cordon bleu, both were very good and the meat was perfectly cooked. Because it was “Spanish night” there was even live music and great praise for the guitarist! Highly recommended, great service!

We went down the slopes and found that the restaurant has new management, we had dinner with live Spanish music and an excellent tomahawk, excellent service, a good place to rediscover in Flims!!!!

An absolute disaster, the service doesn't speak German, the food was just ok. After an accident (our daughter received a glass of syrup on her head), we received no apology and the excuse that it was our own fault (our daughter sat quietly in her seat). Afterwards we had to fight not to have to pay for the syrup ourselves, which cost CHF 5. Once and never again!

After great anticipation, we were very disappointed several times. We waited about an hour for our food. The service walked past our table x times and didn't notice that we didn't have anything to eat yet. After we asked, the dishes we ordered were served to us. Unfortunately, all three pieces of meat are far from the desired cooking point. (at a price of 56 Fr.) It's a shame :((

Not very honest, charged me 6chf for a carafe of tap water, and 9chf for the accompaniment instead of 8chf as indicated in the menu. Plus the meat was dry. Very expensive for what it is. Although the service seemed quick and friendly.

A place for everyone. If you don't want to experience with food it's not your place to eat. I tried Tomahawk Steak and my friends Bison entrecôte so impressed . (liked the sauces so much) My friends was amazed by the experience . Both steaks were tendered and well cooked. The side dish was ok but little to much for our belly’s but again so delicious. I do understand why people rated sometimes to low this tipe of restaurants , the tastes of this meats is unusual for many of them. The experience was ok.

Unfortunately, the prices at this place are way too expensive and the quality of the food isn't even worth nearly as much money as they charge. I would be able to handle it if the service was very good, which isn't really the case. Likewise, the spare ribs weren't really edible. It's a shame about the beautiful location, but in my opinion this grill house needs professional management so that it can justify the prices.

This is a real achievement and a real pleasure. Anyone who likes great food has come to the right place because this will be a taste explosion of the finest, it's the best burger in the world and the chef is so warm and really great. Food wasn't particularly good, service was bad

The burger was super tasty and with the fries it was way too much for me. One could think about that. The staff was nice and not intrusive. What really surprised us was that we were the only guests. So don't let that put you off, just go in and eat deliciously

Honestly, this restaurant doesn't deserve a star. We have reserved for 20 people with email confirmation. We were turned away on site. Unbelievable, the boss didn't want to acknowledge mistakes and didn't give a shit about it. Too bad for him. Would have made good money with us.

We were attracted by the great reviews on Google and we can definitely confirm them! Burgers were fresh, which was also noticeable with the tomatoes and lettuce. Burgers were very tasty, no expense was spared with the toppings, fries and sauce - great! Ambience was okay, service was very nice and friendly. We recommend the restaurant to everyone who likes to eat good, juicy burgers :-) - we'll be happy to come back!!
