AP Café Diner | Burger | Pizza | Hotdog | Vegan in Aadorf

When I discovered the AP Restaurant in Aadorf, I was initially surprised by the exterior and thought it was a car showroom. However, I went in with my son and enjoyed the ambiance while he played an arcade machine. The Bistro Corner particularly appealed to me and I could immediately imagine eating there with friends and having fun. The food looked delicious and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. Unfortunately, my positive experience was marred when I was rudely told that I wasn't allowed to bring my own drinks, which I didn't know because I thought it was a showroom. Even though I explained that it was my first visit, I was still treated unpleasantly. It also turned out that the use of the arcade machines was only for customers. which I didn't think was fair since it was a service that I paid for. Because of this experience I decided not to visit the restaurant again as I didn't think it was fair how we were treated. It's a shame because I would have liked to become a loyal customer, but unfortunately the negative experience stopped me.

The ambience is nice but still needs improvement. For me the food is good value for money. I didn't like the burger at all and at 30fr menu price it was rather unpleasant.

Great ambience. Great idea. It's a shame that you can't order food at the table. But that's the concept now. Is to be accepted. We can do that. Our sons (teenagers) had fun. We will be back.

I don't understand self-service at all and it's absolutely bad at this diner. The ambience is great. The chairs are the most uncomfortable I have sat on in my life. The tables are so bad with the brackets underneath that you can't sit right on the edge. In addition, a single toilet for such a large diner is far too little. Definitely room for improvement in terms of service and comfort. Ruined the whole experience a little.

Burgers taste good, the prices are ridiculous.

Very nice and open people, great atmosphere with an incredible view of many great vehicles. The highlight of the evening for me was a sound check of a Porsche GT3 RS and being able to experience seating in several vehicles. Only recommended.

Great place, staff OK when they're done with their cell phones. Great food, highly recommended, just a little small. Rolls would be better if they weren't cold. Drink is great

I can only recommend the AP Café! Not only are the burgers great, but the ambience is also breathtaking. If you're as ambitious about driving as I am, then you definitely have to come here. The service is great, very friendly and welcoming. You feel super comfortable and are simply overwhelmed to see these great cars. Be sure to go to the AP Café!😊

Ambience would easily be 10 out of 10 stars if this were possible. Top service, super friendly employees, delicious food. Plus awesome cars and cool entertainment (darts, table football, car racing, etc.). All in all a great experience!

Last Saturday we were there for dinner with a group and celebrated the 13th birthday. The service (the boys) were very friendly and accommodating. The burgers were great and the atmosphere was really cool. We had a few children with us and everyone had a good time. Thank you for the lovely evening. always my pleasure.

Inspite of being booked out they still told us we could just sit at the bar so we did and the burgers were great a little too much bbq sauce for my taste but otherwise really good. The fries were amazing!! The place in general really great beautiful cars to look at and walk around. We had a great time.

Very good food, you get enough so you don't have to go hungry. Great ambience if you're a car enthusiast, it's worth a visit to AP Café Diner. Not only for watching, but also for passing the time, there are 4 reindeer simulators, 2 of which are very modern.

The location is absolutely unique. I don't know of anything comparable. The burgers and especially the fries are very tasty, but at 30Fr I think it's definitely on the more expensive side. A little more fries and then I think I could get to grips with it more easily. But service is very approachable, friendly and accommodating.

I think the location is cool, in the photos on TikTok it looks bigger but the food is great. It is also child-friendly and children's menus are also offered. Food and drink is self-service! Cool cars on display and also opportunities to pass your time. (Dart, shaker box, etc..)

Always worth a visit for lovers of great cars. Cool atmosphere, nice and relaxed staff and the best burgers. However... Since we were told that one of the cars would be started on the weekend with a lot of visitors, we booked a table for Saturday. The place was full, but despite demand none of the vehicles started - a shame and disappointing for true fans.

Very cool shop, you could tell someone was making an effort. The food was great, I had the Mercedes AMG burger and can only recommend it with a fine, spicy sauce. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and perfect for car lovers. The staff are very nice and friendly and it's only natural that you would like to come back. Another plus were the sim rigs that you could drive. My time is 1,52,859

This diner is really something different. While you enjoy your food you can look at great cars. And the food is really good, but the prices are a bit high for the small portions that you have to pick up yourself.

A MUST for fans of something special - I just loved it and the latte was great! If you have time for 1 or more games, you've come to the right place! ;-)

Really cool shop for car enthusiasts and burger lovers! Cool cars, a few arcade games and nice staff who (if there is time) will chat to you in a casual way, regardless of your hobbies or cars! In addition, the staff is very enthusiastic about cars, which makes the whole thing even more likeable 💪🏼 The burger selection is bombastic and super tasty! The “spark plugs” are very crispy and the truffle mayo is a dream 🤤 Top price/performance ratio! Simply important: reserve seats in advance. It takes a little time but it's absolutely worth it. At the very end I asked if it was okay for cars to start. An experience! As a car fan, simply TOP! Will come back because you definitely have to try the other burgers too 😁

When I came into the restaurant, I saw a lot of beautiful cars and I was already satisfied. The food was also very tasty, although there was a bit of a wait, but it was all freshly prepared. The only thing I can say is, only recommended.

Wow, that was a huge failure! Waited almost 2 hours for “fast food”! No advance notice from the staff that there would be such a long wait. Had reservations for this evening. The burger I wanted to order was sold out. Eat lukewarm, sweet potato fries way too dark and fried to death. Orders put together incorrectly on the plates. Also very high prices! A drink in a bottle, without ice, glass or straw 5.- each. Portions in the menu are small. Burgers look much cooler in the pictures. Bulld beef burger barely had anything in it. A guest/child had to order pizza from a pizza scale and go pick it up. Shortly afterwards, pizza is served at the next table. We were 8 guests. 1 child was able to eat after 30 minutes. 4 after 110 minutes and the remaining 3 after 125 minutes! And yes, after a long wait, we asked, they hadn't expected such a rush. The resti was well attended but not overcrowded. No table service, the guest has to clear up themselves and put everything on the bar, including “fresh” food from the kitchen. Hygienically questionable method. If they had told us right from the start, hey guys, there would be longer waiting times, we would have started playing games all around... but if you think it's about to happen... you're not letting in more money for not playing. Everything has to be paid for separately. The exhibition of the car was ok, but totally dusty and lots of fingerprints. Our conclusion: definitely an overpriced failure!!!! We really can't recommend it more. A pity. It's a shame...we love good burgers and that in the region.

Delicious unusual burgers with convincing quality. Only for the hot dogs would it be desirable to be able to choose between pretzel bread and Parisian bread. Lye isn't a bad fit, but it does take some getting used to. The location is awesome. Not cheap in terms of price, but quality has its price

After waiting almost 2 hours for 4 burgers, we received cold food and the prices were high. The long waiting time was a mistake on the part of the kitchen, the staff apologized several times and were very friendly. You really have to praise the staff. The price-performance ratio is not very good because it is self-service. For these prices you can expect service.

Went spontaneously yesterday, so we made a reservation. It was full, I think busier than usual. Unfortunately we had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for our burgers! (there were 4 of us). When we reported this when we picked up the burgers, they apologized, saying it was a big rush and that they would offer us a coffee. The fries were ok, the sweet potato fries were very tasty. The citizens; well, we hoped for more! The ambience is cool with the cars and the "toys", but unfortunately they saved money on the table and chairs, which are very uncomfortable and cold, especially when you have to wait so long. I can't rate the service because you order the food at the front and then have to pick it up yourself and then clear the whole thing away again. It's a shame, we were hoping to have discovered a great burger shop nearby, but nothing happened.

The ambience and restaurant itself is very nice, and also has cool cars and motorcycles on display. Unfortunately I am VERY disappointed and expected much more. We waited 1 hour 45 minutes for 3 burgers. For the price I don't think it's okay at all. The burgers were tasty but not great, but I would say they were worth the price.

The ambience itself was good, first impression was great. However, the seating could be adjusted, it is definitely different in the long run. Unfortunately the burger was lukewarm. Fries were tasty and definitely fresh. Waiting time is definitely too long, even for fresh preparation. Over 60 minutes for 2 burgers on the grounds that it was busy (not all tables were occupied) and everything was fresh. I didn't think it was ok. Especially since the service seemed rather annoyed when I asked. Burgers are simply nothing special for the price. I think you could get more out of there and the waiting times definitely need to be worked on, even during peak times.

Food was great. Lotus and Corvette burgers are good. Nuggets and spark plugs too. We tried all the dipping sauces except vegan mayo and they were all good. It's also a matter of taste. After dinner I was also allowed to sit in the Shelby. Thanks for that. We'd love to come back!

I liked it very much. The dining area is not too crowded. You can walk around and look at the cars or play games. Shipomat also available. The “retro car game machine” is even free to use. Great to visit with children too. Cool location.

The store looks great as soon as you enter. I like the self-service and the clearing up afterwards, because it encourages decency and care in the use of the location. Now for the food... just great... we were there for the first time today and usually we test more than we can eat to get an idea. all the dishes were GREAT!!! Nothing was too greasy, we tested almost all the sauces (no vegan ones) and it's almost difficult to say which was the best... the burgers were as we imagined and hoped (spicy burgers could be spicier, as we had to clarify). This can be defused, but can be ordered stronger when ordering). French fries? a dream and the big block nuggets are super fresh and crispy. At the end of this culinary event, my wife was even allowed to sit in one of the cars on display. The service was very friendly and attentive to the customer. great local, go there and enjoy the atmosphere.

The food is very tasty, but you have to expect long waiting times because everything is regional and made fresh. However, you can bridge the waiting time very well, as there is a lot of opportunity to move around and many ways to pass the time such as a goodbye and much more. In addition, the team is very friendly and we are warmly welcomed.

We've eaten here several times and were really happy with the burgers. The ambience should contain more American cars :) The burgers are big and very tasty. Huge selection, funny names. Great service, we really enjoy coming. But: the price and the amount you get for the fries are really underground and they still have an impact. For 8 or 10.50 francs you can't even get a handful of fries. These were really tasty but we don't order any more because it looks like the waiter was hungry when the burger arrives with some fries decoration. (In other restaurants you can get a bowl full of soup for 7 francs)

👍 I can really only give this a big recommendation! Huge selection of burgers. What we offer here in terms of diversity and ideas, the burger is unparalleled. That's one thing: designing and marketing. 😉 But when it tastes so good in so many variations... it's just awesome. In addition, local suppliers are preferred as much as possible and a great variety also for vegetarian and vegan customers. Really 🔝 keep it up..😁

Unfortunately, the quality of the burgers has decreased dramatically and the preparation is no longer at the same level as it was in the past. For this price you expect top quality which also maintains the level. Furthermore, email inquiries are largely ignored.

All in all, extremely satisfied. The burger was juicy and very tasty, the fries were a decent portion and the employees were very cheerful and amusing. The ambience makes every car lover's heart beat faster. Real racing vehicles as well as old classics are on display, races of various classes are running in the background and there are simulators to round off the feeling. I'd love to come back any time!

Definitely worth a trip. Our car-loving children in particular really get a kick out of it; the boys were able to experience the cars up close. The staff was super friendly and totally uncomplicated and the food was perfect👌🏻. We'd love to come back.

The caramelized onions and the coleslaw were great, although the patty was boring, but that's what the burger thrives on. Unfortunately, a small salad cannot be added, only large portions. I would have expected more for the price of the burger.

We went to the birthday dinner and got a small cake and a song ;) the vegan menu was really tasty and you could choose from 6 burgers! I can recommend it to everyone 😍
