Schützenhaus Wittenwil Weiern in Aadorf

The three of us ate there during the week. We know the good reputation and regularly ordered pizza there about 2 years ago. We were warmly welcomed and the service was good. However, the ambience did not seem inviting or cozy at all. Everything was very cheap and simple. The pizzas were a complete disappointment; very greasy, dough tasteless and not as we know it from before. Very unfortunate.

When I discovered the AP Restaurant in Aadorf, I was initially surprised by the exterior and thought it was a car showroom. However, I went in with my son and enjoyed the ambiance while he played an arcade machine. The Bistro Corner particularly appealed to me and I could immediately imagine eating there with friends and having fun. The food looked delicious and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. Unfortunately, my positive experience was marred when I was rudely told that I wasn't allowed to bring my own drinks, which I didn't know because I thought it was a showroom. Even though I explained that it was my first visit, I was still treated unpleasantly. It also turned out that the use of the arcade machines was only for customers. which I didn't think was fair since it was a service that I paid for. Because of this experience I decided not to visit the restaurant again as I didn't think it was fair how we were treated. It's a shame because I would have liked to become a loyal customer, but unfortunately the negative experience stopped me.

Always fine food, good value for money, beautifully prepared plates, friendly service

Had cordon bleu and pork steak. The food was sensational and the price-performance ratio was also completely fine.
