Stressful and hostile atmosphere, mediocre coffee, overpriced. We got harrassed by a disrespectful guest and the staff did not care. They probably don't care because the place is always (too) packed anyway, which is likely soley due to the location and lack of nearby alternatives. Will not return.

Were here to work and for coffee and cake. Coffee and cake were extremely good. Unfortunately it was a bit too loud to work, there weren't enough power sockets and unfortunately the WiFi didn't work either.

We ordered a flat white, oat milk vanilla latte, a couple of cakes and a lasagne. Everything was great. The lasagne especially was super tasty! A must-try. Beyond the food & drink, the staff were very friendly, and remained calm and efficient with their time, despite a steady flow of people with lots of orders. Really great.

I was shocked to discover today that there are still places where a chai tea latte is served with a tea bag (and not with syrup). Of course it didn't taste good at all. And then charging 5.20 for it is outrageous. Excuse me, it's 2023!!!!

Not sure why, but I did not feel very welcome.

I've tried a few different iced drinks (chai, coffee, matcha...) and they all taste like cold, watery milk. It's sadly disappointing for the price since the espresso drinks aren't too bad and the food is alright since there isn't much in the area. Will not go bag though.

Enjoy your meal. Very nice staff. Nice and quiet place. But. I always have to wait way too much, regardless of whether there are many people or not. This means you don't have enough staff and they aren't properly trained. You can maintain a nice atmosphere despite efficient working methods. Thank you again for this place and the good food. You cook with your heart.

I got sandwiches for lunch a few times. These were always delicious! Unfortunately, the restaurant is very unstructured at lunchtime and there is often a lot of rush, which makes it crowded and the whole ordering process becomes very chaotic and there are long waiting times.

Good food especially the canneloni sauce, and just for no reason a nice smile from the staff always happy to come back... Markus Allenspach

Best cappuccino in the student district! Takeaway coffee saves lives ;) And the cappuccino on site with cantuccini is also very, very tasty.

A cozy café in Zurich's university quarter decorated in beige and brown tones. The café impresses with its not too large but fresh selection of paninis, quiches, pastries and lemonades. The coffee tastes great because it was not brewed too strongly and therefore has a mild taste. The café is frequented by workers, students and office workers and therefore has a well-mixed audience. A visit is worth it and is highly recommended.

Nice feminine staff and rather warm for zurich, pitty it's self Cathering, small terrasse facing the butcher in a movimented Street with students, housewives, old Cadillacs, etc. Best gin in town!

I have never found meat birds and boiled meat salad as good and enjoyable in any other place as here. The service is friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is calm and you feel comfortable. I can highly recommend it.

Ich musste einen Salat personalisieren, denn für Veganer gab es nichts anderes als Kaffee. Ich erhielt ungefähr ein Viertel Avocado, 2 - 3 Tomatenscheiben und einige sehr alte (muffige) Walnüsse für 13. 50.

Good selection of sandwiches etc. Staff unfortunately completely overwhelmed and chsotic way of working. This isn't the first time this has happened here.

Wir aßen mit ein paar College-Freunden zu Mittag und es war so, wie es sein sollte: freundlich, gemütlich und lecker! Die hausgemachte Lasagne und Suppe sind zu empfehlen!

Great café, especially for lunch: uncomplicated, casual atmosphere and very fair prices (especially for the students who come back again and again). In addition to a menu with burgers and the like, you can also choose from the salad bar, order soups, choose pasta casseroles (lasagne etc.) or buy sandwiches/panini. The salad with the selectable ingredients (eggs, chicken, bacon, tuna, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese...) are always fresh and the portions are very fair. Bread can also be served on request. When I'm in the area, apoTHEKE is a (healthy) option for lunch for me.

I didn't think it was that amazing for dinner. There are a few rather uncreative dishes on the menu (e.g. salad) and then run-of-the-mill sandwiches from lunch. You can go there for a drink. The atmosphere is young, hip and impersonal.

Simply too expensive. The quality is average, but nothing more. Lives off the university and the USZ staff.

Little-known gem. A well-preserved medieval town. Worth seeing.

One of the best coffee place in the zone. Stuff very friendly, cozy atmosphere, perfect even to work in there with a laptop (has WiFi, sockets and it's not loud at all). Coffee quality is even fine, offering for "milky" variants even almond or soja drinks. "Zurichy" prices though. :)

Incredibly unfriendly staff, you get shouted at when you ask about the price difference between the small and the large salad (there is no price difference, which is also a disgrace) and you are indignantly told that you can only pay by card if you have to. Salad is okay, sandwiches are delicious.

Big compliments to the team and the management of the pharmacy, you immediately feel welcome and warmly served! The warm atmosphere invites you to linger and the coffee and sweet snacks are very tasty!!

Bei jedem Besuch vollkommen zufrieden. Sehr feiner Kaffee, wechselndes leckeres Kuchenangebot, sowie stets freundliche Bedienung. Auch am späteren Abend herrscht ein gemütliches Ambiente.

If you like having your coffee served to you by moderately motivated students and then drinking it between open laptops, this is the place for you! A “mise en place” is also the exception rather than the rule. The fact that this is the case is of course not due to the staff, who are presumably paid just above the minimum wage, but rather due to a lack of training by those responsible. Quality costs money, and if you are passionate about coffee, you should also hire baristas! Two stars - because the pastries and food are very okay.

Más de 30 CHF por un panini y una ensalada. . . Eso es demasiado caro incluso dentro de los estándares de Zurich. Además, si desea agregar pollo a su ensalada, eso es 5 CHF más (que broma).Típico lugar de lujo de estilo publicitario donde todo está en la buena voluntad y nada en la comida. . . Para algo más barato y mejor, simplemente cruce la calle hacia REIF, por menos de 15 CHF puede tener un mejor sándwich y una mejor ensalada.

Good coffee and good paninis :) They also serve full meals if you are really hungry. Only deduction is for the limited amount of comfortable seating (but that also speaks for how good the café is!)

Seit Monaten immer wieder Gast - trotz schlechtem Service - aus mangelnden Möglichkeiten an Restaurationen (sehr wenig Cafes in der Nähe) im Uni-Quartier. Der Service gehört zu einem der langsamsten und unfreundlichsten in der Stadt Züri. Leider widerspiegelt sich dieser schlechte Service auch bei „Hausregeln“ wie: - Kartenzahlung erst ab CHF 15.- möglich- Aufpreis für pflanzliche Milch- hohes Preisniveau- Mono-Shots sind hier CHF 2.- teurer als an jeder anderen Verkaufstelle - UmgangstonSchade: Interior ist stimmig und das Quartier ist ideal für ein Café mit Charme und anständigem Service. Findet man leider hier nicht.

Ob um 12 Uhr mittags oder um 14 Uhr, wartet immer eine genervte Schlange Menschen dicht gedrängt vor der Theke darauf, bedient zu werden. Drei bis vier junge Frauen huschen hinter der Theke hektisch hin und her und schaffen es nicht, die Leute in einem sinnvollen Ablauf zu bedienen. Also wartet man... und wartet man... um schliesslich für eine platte Foccacia über 10 CHF zu bezahlen.

It's a nice place in this trendy now Scandinavian style.Food was good,excellent coffee and pretty big choice of bio drinks. I love the fact there used to be a pharmacy therefore the name apoTHEKE. And another plus for me as a women:It is the the first place I saw in Zurich which has a ladies room on the ground floor and men need to walk downstairs:) 4 for as a rate as there is no "atmosphere/soul in the place.I think it is a pitty there is no more correlation to the fact the place is a former pharmacy.

Fine sandwiches, but that's about it. Incredibly unfriendly staff, even as a regular customer you can stand at the counter for minutes and be deliberately ignored despite making eye contact because it's easier to fob off 20 people in a row who buy salad. Simply cheeky. The fact that in 2018 you will also be treated like a fool if you, as a regular customer, want to pay by card every now and then is just the icing on the cake. It's been bothering me for a long time, but that's enough. Won't go there anymore. For a midday snack, the butcher Vis-A-Vis is on par and friendly.

Die Apo THEKE bietet ein super Salatangebot und eine gute Auswahl an Hotsandwiches und wenigen warmen Speisen. Das Dessert-/und Znüniangebot ist vorzüglich, besonders die hausgemachten Kuchen! Die Bedienung ist freundlich. Die Preise sind eher hoch, jedoch passt es mit der Leistung überein. Ich würde dieses Cafe unbedingt weiterempfehlen!

The place is very cozy, the coffee is very delicious and is very useful for concentration if you want to study a little, it lacks connectors for the computer but if it is for reading texts it is fine.

In der APOtheke verweile ich gerne. Der Kaffee ist sehr lecker, es gibt schöne Sitzplätze draussen und die Bedienung ist immer freundlich und aufgestellt. Das Lokal ist trendig eingerichtet und es gibt ein breites Angebot an leckeren Kuchen. Mein Tipp: Ingwer-Honig-Wasser und Tomaten-Mozerella Sandwich!

Definitely one of the better coffees in Zürich

1-2 x in der Woche hole ich mir in der ApoTheke einen Salat. Mit inzwischen CHF 13.50 (früher 12.50) ist er nicht mehr sehr preiswert. Kommt hinzu, dass von den 3 zu wählenden Beilagen immer weniger geschöpft wird. Meine heutige Salatschüssel war schlussendlich nicht mal mehr zu Hälfte gefüllt. Und das Brot: einfach lächerlich: 2 halbe (ich spreche von Baguettegrösse!!!), düüüüne Scheibchen. Da macht man nur die Kundschaft wütend! Mein Rat: Brot lieber weglassen, wenn das im Preis von CHF 13.50 nicht mehr drin liegt. Damaris
