Chef Nik is an absolute maestro of the culinary world! We were fortunate enough to have him cater at our wedding, and it was an experience that left us speechless. What's truly remarkable about him and his team is that they don't need many words – when they arrive, they bring pure artistry that speaks volumes. Plus, the 16eme Art restaurant in Saanen is our most favorite since many years and we hope that they never stop!

Simply a good restaurant with a very nice mountain chalet atmosphere. Beautiful old wines are on the menu here. We treated ourselves to a 41-year-old wine that was certainly past its prime, but still lived up to the price. The Gault Millau cuisine is second to none. High price range

Rib steak a little nervous and fatty, service and atmosphere at the top on the other hand. Super friendly and helpful staff. Perfect softness.

I recommend this restaurant, the welcome, quality of service, the location, perfect…. Freshness of ingredients guaranteed. Change of dishes and menu depending on arrivals (also a guarantee of freshness). The dessert… delicious….. not too sweet, top. I'll let you discover the photos. Otherwise Saanen is also a charming village, if you have a little time to discover this place. You have a small car park near the restaurant where you will find a place to park. However, in high season, you will have to park in the Saanen underground car park.

David (the Hungarian) makes the best drinks. Absolutely great guy.

Everything is fantastic. From the service to the quality on the plate, the smile and the welcome from the two owners, from the magnificent chalet to the wine list with super correct coefficients. An expected place. Many establishment bosses should take inspiration from the 16th.

It was a really nice place. The gentleman who wOrked there was really friendly, despite not speaking English or French, we could understand him a bit. The burger which I had as my lunch was super delecioua but expensive indeed! I felt like I'm in Zurich and not Saanen! The inside of readtaurant was also nice and cozy. The washroom was really small! Anyway! We enjoyed our experience here , thanks team 16

Corona rules are completely ignored here! Even the best food is of no use if you feel so uncomfortable in a restaurant. Nobody cares about distance rules, the place is totally overcrowded, tables are occupied at least twice per evening in very small spaces (I don't even want to talk about cleaning these tables) and complete strangers are seated right next to each other at large tables. The main thing is that every chair is occupied, no matter how close to each other. Virtually no one cares about the mask requirement. The later our waitress was, we just walked around with the mask underneath our chin. Nobody wants to see certificates, even if they take them out without being asked and would like to show them. You shouldn't talk to your boss about this either, as you'll just get a mushy answer. Absolutely negligent behavior for us. This restaurant should be closed!!!

The burger is 2/10 very bad super dry and the bread looks fresh but hard as a rock

Good Bar, nice Thai menu and a good selection of wines, the personal super nice also… just only thing I don’t like is the kitchen close to early and prices could be better also… by the rest súper satisfy. Give them a try.

Very nice place, I had dinner with colleagues outdoors surrounded by beautiful roses of all colours. We ate and drank very well, the staff were very friendly and the place was very clean. I highly recommend it.

We've been coming here for many years now and we can only say that friendliness and high quality are always present. The staff treats you like family, the dining room is charming and cozy and the food is delicious. On top of that, the wine selection is excellent.

Quality of the food and its presentation is A1 and worth a full 5 stars😋. There are deductions for the service and especially because of the space being too narrow and totally overloaded and too noisy, so only ⭐⭐⭐⭐ the photo was taken before service 😏 think about putting a few fewer tables...

Don’t waste your time. Go to Olden and Sonnenhof. The food is over salty to start. But more over the owner and the staff are totally classless. Terrible manners from the management and staff in handling an issue. Shame on them. There are much better options.

We found it totally by luck and it was a really great discovery. The staff were super friendly and everybody speaks English. The food is sooo good. We had truffle ravioli and fish with cabbage.Simply delicious!! If the desserts were more attractive it would be definitely a 5*

Went to the 16th twice during our week-long holiday in Gstaad. There is a truly unique atmosphere here. All employees and the Chef’s are very friendly and entertaining. Here you meet great people from the local area as well as an international audience. The menu is varied. A mix of traditional Swiss dishes and international delicacies. The wine list is also very extensive and we always like to choose Swiss wines, preferably from Lake Geneva. We are already looking forward to the next time 🤗

Burgers? and Thai food? I admit, I was skeptical...especially about getting good Thai food in the middle of Switzerland. But I'm no longer a skeptic. My boyfriend and I split a green curry, spring rolls, and sweet and sour pork (ok, ok, so this isn't exactly Thai, but read on) and all were very good. The sweet and sour pork wasn't overly sweet and the curry was flavorful with a good spiciness level. The proprietor/manager even invited us to have a taste of a Thai liver dish - which was good too (and I don't even like liver!). They also have a great wine selection (but if you drink your bottle there, watch out for the very high corkage fees!). The service was great and our waiter was friendly and professional. The only disappointment was the ice cream dessert...prepackaged mini containers of ice cream (which was not that tasty). Other than that, a very good experience...would like to try their other Thai items (and burgers) another time.
