Yeah, could do better, the price of the sweets is somewhat exaggerated and it's all sorely lacking in finesse...

Smiling and pleasant welcome, we feel good and the products are delicious. To (re)discover when visiting St-Prex.

Unpleasant and slow atmosphere and service. Cramped and noisy places (the fridges make a hellish noise). Not to mention the exorbitant prices. The owner's response to my comment (read below) confirms my comment and is exactly in keeping with the atmosphere of the place. Don’t hesitate to go and judge for yourself.

We're Sunday regulars, but what's happened to the croissants? They seem to have halved in size, yet price is the same. Pain au chocolat still great and haven't shrunk!

The small croissant at 1.90.-, it's just not possible anymore! 7.60,- for 4 croissants!!! The last time in my life: from now on I will buy pre-baked croissants and reheat them. I don't agree that bakers take such a margin (nearly 4 x the cost price). In addition, for pastries, the size has been reduced and the price increased! Help ! Let's also think of the villagers who are not millionaires! I'll add a comment here: it's always the same old refrain to justify the high cost of certain products: our products come from nearby farmers, real butter from real local cows, etc. All the real bakeries in the canton do this and do not sell their little croissants for 1.90.-! The fair price would be 1.60.- I persist and therefore sign and still do not understand this price.

Having entered here by chance, I discovered a cozy, very beautiful place with a range of products, each more appetizing than the last; there is research and creativity for the sandwiches, the pastries seem generous as possible, and the pastries seem very clearly homemade with lots of butter! The welcome and service are friendly. The prices are quite reasonable for the excellent quality. For today, I chose a grape escargot, it was excellent, with French puff pastry. The hardest part, if you come here, will be choosing! Congratulations to the boss for his commitment to making good products

If before I loved coming here and the quality of the products it's a fact but now I find that the quality has dropped, despite the fact that the prices have increased. In addition, this is the first time that I have seen chocolates on display that should not be consumed since it is really visible that they are no longer in good condition.

We had lunch there, while visiting Saint Prex. The Pistachio-Raspberry Profiterole was AMAZING. The bread we took home was really good. Highly recommended.

Amazing place. I want to taste everything every time I visit. Everything is good, from bread to pastries to chocolate. The homemade spread is to die for! Smiling, fast, efficient and friendly staff whether in St Prex or Villars sur Yens.

We walked in to get hot chocolates half an hour before closing and were told it was not possible because the machine was already cleaned. I guess these people don’t like money…

For my daughter's 1st birthday we ordered two pure chocolate cakes which were greatly appreciated by our daughter and the guests. The only point would be to remove the little chocolate grains from everything as it was for our daughter as a priority but she still ate her entire share without difficulty. I highly recommend this bakery and for its two years we will surely order ;) We were already attracted to have tea and a cake in this bakery

I found a local coffee shop, where I had a vegan sandwich and a latte, and the place was very quiet, simple, and clean.

The food and the welcome from the waitresses were great. On the other hand, the owner has no concept of customer relations! He was arrogant and disrespectful on the phone following an error that I had pointed out to one of the waitresses: I ordered and paid for a Schweppes advertised on the shelf at 33cl but I received a 20cl Schweppes instead. I reported the problem and the response I received was that there are no 33cl Schweppes. I then asked if they offered anything in exchange to correct this little mistake and I suggested, for example, that they give me a second bottle of Schweppes (I didn't know that offering me 7cl more risked sinking the bottle). 'company). The waitress called the owner and said she apologized but the answer was no. I then asked him to pass it to me and then I had the most improbable telephone exchange of my life. Apparently the owner considers that it is up to the customers to take responsibility for their mistakes, but that is not enough for him, he also needs to show a lack of respect for them. He accused me of wanting to take advantage of the vulnerability of the young waitress and of "playing the game" of being a difficult customer and that he was going to offer me (generously and very sympathetically) this 2nd Schweppes to "satisfy my ego". It's difficult to invent such a story, I find it so scandalous. I was angry and disappointed at first, but when I reread what just happened I find it hilarious because it's so stupid. It would have been enough to offer me a chocolate or any other small commercial gesture. What a pity.

I took a ramekin with cheese which was good (better hot than cold advice!) but a little expensive for what it is (4.70 francs). On the other hand, I didn't like the caramel cabbage at all, it was too sweet, the caramel taste was too strong. In conclusion, it wasn't refined enough, not enough balance of flavors, it looked more like candy with caramel than a pastry... Too bad!

I was there with my mother a few days ago. Impeccable, fast, smiling service. The sommeliers are adorable, with a good memory of faces, who remember people coming only a few times, take the time and effort to explain and chat etc :) really great! I haven't tasted the pastries but they look exceptional and my mother confirms, they are. The ice creams are good with flavors that you can't find everywhere! The place is warm, welcoming, cocooning. We feel good there! I highly recommend it

You go for a stroll in Saint Prex, come and take a break at the gourmet workshop. The galette des rois was a pure marvel (the rum touch), by far the best I have ever tasted in the region. Certainly the specialty of the house is pastries, but the bread is also very, very good and the few pastries sold are enriched with butter as it should be. Nice place by the lake, you can find your little snack without problem. The sanwiches with tomato, artichoke heart and wholemeal bread humm so good. I love the capuchino. There is also the possibility of making small gourmet baskets as gifts. At Christmas, Easter etc. Very nice presentation.

A great unexpected surprise on a rainy Sunday morning. Artisan Gourmand is a very cute shop with delightful little cakes, great tasting sandwiches and also salads for those who prefer to go for a lighter meal. The service was also excellent. We will come back very soon😊
