Asino il Bar in Bern

5 dl of water and a coffee cream for 15 CHF with a 20 minute wait for service, exgüse, but neither the price nor the performance is right.

Waited 10 minutes for a waiter without success, then ordered at the bar and waited another 10 minutes for the drink. Waitress preferred cleaning at the bar instead of serving. Service underground. Was the last time in this bar. Ä

Very good Italian restaurant at affordable prices

Very authentic Italian pizza and pinsa. Nice atmosphere and very good food, which is prepared with a lot of love.

Excellent drinks served with professionalism and courtesy. Soft environment with beautiful music that accompanies a drink and an evening with friends.

Uncomfortable chairs at a metal table outside. Service not great: service didn't speak any German, poor English, some French. Rather slow, although there was little activity. Card only as a QR code. Rosato was ice cold, but pinsa was very tasty. Only receive a receipt when paying if requested.

I used to go to the casino a lot and often and loved it. Unfortunately the food is no longer at the same level as it was six months ago (unfortunately it's really not good anymore) and not to mention the service... you can be happy when you are served and consider yourself lucky if the person serving you is friendly. .. A pity!

Bar with a great location right next to the weekly market at the beginning of Münstergasse. However, the staff is hard to beat! We just wanted a cappuccino and left without it after 45 minutes. Asked a 'highly motivated' service employee who was trained to look the other way three times for an order, each time being referred to the colleague who never came. A pity!

Central place, great for a drink, the selection is great, the drinks are delicious. The prices are rather high.

Perfect service and professionals barmans with good advices. Food is ok ( Nices Pizzas but almost only that ) Atmosphere is good depens of people here so they cannot manage this. If you go to the old town in Bern it's the best place to drink cocktails. Enjoy

Perfect place to have a refreshing drink with some delicious snacks, sitting under the tipical bernese arcades. Authentic, fresh, friendly - the place to be!

The place is actually good. The staff was great and very friendly. But the toilets are in a dilapidated state. A pity.

Despite the very friendly staff, the food took way to long to arrive during business lunch hours. 30 minutes wait for a soup, salad, and one pinsa is unacceptable during lunch hours (or without an advance warning).

For this price, I would have expected more "taste"....the cocktails were mostly bland.....unimaginative

Poor snack menu and there are no nuts with wine

Rarely unfriendly service... also didn't understand a word of German... "cheapest gin and tonic" for 17.-, of course with the note that with "decent quality" the drink would then cost more (as said when cashing in). To point out that this is a somewhat special attitude, the comment came: "it is what it is", so as a guest you really feel like a king ;-) Once and never again, luckily there are enough competing businesses nearby .

Manhattan was fine but was served without cherry, which was a bit of a shame.

First visit in November 2021. Service was excellent - friendly, mindful, simply very obliging. The drinks belong to the best served in town, this goes for both looks & taste. You've won a new regular customer.

Favourite bar for any occasion. Staff will always get sth suiting your taste - even sth off the menu. Also: try the Henri Dosnon champagne, no mainstream brand which is absolutely worth it. Will be back for sure ;)

Definitely some of the best cocktails in town! I've been multiple times to Asino il Bar now and can only recommend this cozy little spot to anybody looking for some good drinks!

For all Bernese who have not yet found their favorite bar, the Asino il Bar is highly recommended. Great drinks, a large terrace and a cozy atmosphere. In addition to the friendly staff who literally read your wishes from your eyes, you can also enjoy (rumor has it) the best Pinsa in Europe together with the best Negronis in the city. PS: Of course there is also a selection of recommended cigars there. I don't know what else this bar could offer to top itself. I will definitely come back! (:

Good IPA beer - cozy at Zytglogge

Favorite bar in Bern, delicious and creative drinks and always friendly and humourous service.

A little bit of an open beer selection, but nice service and a nice location.

Waited for 15 minutes for the menu. For second drink we had to wait for 30 minutes although we saw the waiters chatting with each other and on their phones. Drinks were average, Negronis decent but too much ice. Very disappointed.

We were at the Asino yesterday and wanted to end the evening comfortably. Since my girlfriend and I work a lot in the field, we consciously treat ourselves and are prepared to pay more than is usual in the industry. We ordered from the adjacent Pop Up Take Away Bar, which advertises juicy burgers and large portions. This is the same owner, who also works as a doctor. When we were rudely served the Quinea Bowl and two cocktails, I could hardly believe my eyes. It consisted of just four tablespoons at a price of 18 CHF and was poorly presented. When we asked whether we would get at least some bread with this bit, the service person rudely told us no. Since I didn't want to cause a scene in front of the other guests outside, I went into the pop-up bar and asked politely if they were serious and that it took a lot of effort to tell him because I had never experienced anything like that before. The answer I received was that they have been there for 4 months and it is the last day the restaurant is open. I can only shake my head. So many restaurateurs are fighting for survival after Corona, and this isn't the first time we've noticed the unfriendly service at the Asino Bar. Prices are out of proportion and the service is anything but good (to give another example: cappuccino 6 CHF). Apparently they are not willing to keep their guests in the future either. There are so many young, attractive and motivated women who are far more committed to service than what you see here. Thumbs down.

Cool bar with a wide range of drinks and spirits. High quality drinks. Friendly service and a cozy, uncomplicated atmosphere. Water is always included and is carefully refilled.
