A very nice place, really great service. Very obliging. The ambience is also very nice. Great for a company outing, girls' night, date night or getting to know your in-laws. Suitable for every occasion. The food was very fine. Well prepared and good quality. The smoking area has a good vent and is very clean. I'd love to come back.

The location is absolutely worth seeing, modern and comfortably furnished. Very generously oriented. The food is beautifully prepared and leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Special requests will be met. Keep it up!

What a pity… I was really happy as soon as I entered the restaurant. It is a real upgrade for Frauenfeld! Inviting bar area, beautiful humidor and a wonderfully designed guest room with high-quality materials and correspondingly spectacular outdoor terraces. I completely understand that a reduced ticket is given at lunchtime. In addition to soup or salad, there are three/four dishes - I choose the pork steak. Unfortunately this is sold out... The service employee offers me beef cheek with dark sauce instead. Rather no... risotto, fish or currywurst unfortunately don't really appeal to me. Mind you: the restaurant doesn't open until half past eleven and we are the first guests. Already sold out? For me, a stew isn't necessarily an alternative to roasted meat - and you could have gotten supplies all morning. I'm disappointed. After us there are three more tables for two and two of them also ask for the steak. What a shame: my euphoria about this beautiful restaurant is rapidly declining. For a catering business to be a hit, everything has to be right.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and upscale. The location is perfect for a nice, cozy dinner. There is enough space for parking in the underground car park. The food was very, very tasty. We had a sushi platter that was fresh and delicious. The salmon was also delicious. Perfectly cooked. The fries with the burger were the best fries we've ever had. The chef was with us briefly and was very friendly and recommended and served us very good dishes. The service was fantastic. I would come here again and again. The Attica restaurant is highly recommended!!

Once again a successful evening with very good food and service in a beautiful and modern atmosphere. What we particularly liked was the wine list and the cigar lounge :-) Congratulations to the entire (new) team! Next we will try the Sunday brunch, which should also be top. I'm almost afraid that you won't get rid of us so quickly :-)

We recommend! We were welcomed very friendly. The service, the ambience, the food was great! Our daughter was doing crafts in the “children’s corner” where there was a friendly carer. We felt completely comfortable. Thank you very much, we'll be back!

Sunday brunch was excellent, an oasis to relax. Daycare is supervised and wonderful. A big thank you to the whole team, wonderful business idea!!!! We will be back.

Attika is a good and beautifully designed restaurant. However, the zander was old and dry. That does not work like this. The chef has to check this.

Just a beautiful restaurant! The cauliflower soup was amazing and our steaks were perfectly cooked. Very attentive service - we will be back. Plus the bar area looks very inviting!

Not really recommended for Sunday brunch. Very little choice for lactose intolerant people. The person is also not discussed at all and an alternative, etc. offered by the chef. Buffet partly empty and takes forever to be refilled. There isn't even margarine, just butter. There is also no lactose-free option in the dessert buffet - except for fresh fruit salad, which is already offered at brunch. So there's still a lot of room for improvement - the location is great.

Greetings and table assignments were OK, there were at least 3-4 people wandering around in the restaurant during the dining service. No idea who is responsible for which guests. Accordingly, you will be approached by several people about the same topic within a short space of time. Starter green salad was overly littered with quite large and totally hard bread croutons, mixed with rock-hard, small nuts. Overall, the salad was absolutely not tasty. The notice when clearing away was hardly taken into account. A completely insecure waiter served the main course entrecôte, finely sliced. The meat was lukewarm at best. The French fries served in a paper bag were at least very good and hot. When we cleared it away, no one asked if it was tasty. The waiter acted like he had some idea about “his” wine list, but it was all just a bluff. It was poured once after tasting the red wine, after which no one cared about the wine anymore. We had to ask twice if we still had wine in the bottle. Was only acknowledged with the comment, yes, they still have a lot of it. He didn't realize that it was actually his job to pour more wine. After the main course was cleared away, no one took care of us anymore. As mentioned, no question about whether it tasted good. No question whether we would like dessert or coffee. Finally after 10pm we decided to pay and leave. After all, we left CHF 250 for two people here. In terms of price, it's probably the upper limit for Frauenfeld, but far too expensive given this overall very poor overall result. I don't know why I should come here again.

Personally, I've been to Attica for dinner three times - the food is beautifully presented and tastes really good. The service was always good in the evening and we felt comfortable. It has its price, but you know that and I'm happy to pay a higher price for a top location like this. BUT The Sunday brunch was really not what we wanted. The buffet is very cold and unimaginatively presented, the jams and honey, butter and yoghurt are packed, the meat platter is careless and we didn't even have salami on the platter. There were 3 different types of cheese, not really a choice. The selection of bread was ok but it didn't blow us all away (e.g. toast was missing). We ordered coffee with milk twice but unfortunately the waitress didn't know this, that wouldn't be a bad thing, but in such a price range you have to offer it and know it! The small, really small lunch buffet was ok but nothing more. Overall we were really disappointed with the brunch - it was ok but nothing more. More details and love definitely have to be invested in the brunch, otherwise you will get a completely wrong impression of the Attica restaurant. DINNER is still highly recommended, but we will avoid brunch at the moment. It is important to mention that brunch has only been introduced recently and therefore perhaps not everything has been worked out and planned yet :-) A VERY BIG PLUS goes to the friendly, well-positioned man (I'm assuming he's the head of service), who also gave us great information and a welcome. I was a bit surprised by the location of this restaurant. But the food and wine selection are great. The atmosphere is also very modern and beautifully decorated. Only the whiskey selection is likely to increase slightly.

My husband invited me to a birthday dinner here (this was also stated when we reserved the table), it was our first visit. When we walked into the Attica, the reception was not occupied and no one came until we called attention to ourselves after a long time. Since we wanted to have a drink in the bar area first, we let them know and were told to just sit down - but since we didn't know where, we had to ask. Drinks were good and some chips came with it. Then we sat down at our table, which was pretty much in the middle/along the passage and wasn't particularly special (you would have expected it to be in a more upscale restaurant based on the note when making the reservation). Orders could be placed relatively quickly and people would be asked promptly whether they had made a decision. Shortly after the main course was served, the chef de service (?) came by and asked if everything was OK. When we answered that the side dishes were as good as cold, all we got was an oh and a shake of the head and he moved on. This gentleman had already attracted negative attention because he always smelled strongly of smoke when he passed by, and it later turned out that he repeatedly sat in the smoking lounge of the restaurant. The dessert was an apple strudel (which was on the menu with shortcrust pastry, but you looked for it in vain if you would have expected it). No, it was a classic apple strudel, just as I expect, but unfortunately served cold. When asked, the plate was taken away and brought back without comment - now hot, but the strudel dough was dry and completely soft (microwave greetings). No excuse here either. Even though we were already sitting there with empty glasses, we weren't asked if we wanted anything else. On the contrary, we almost felt like we were being disturbed because the empty tables next to us had already been set up for breakfast the following day (there were other guests present and it wasn't even 10 p.m. yet). It's a shame, our joy about this evening together was rather dampened and we went home earlier than expected.

Great bar! The service employees are very friendly, courteous and know their way around your card. The prices are absolutely fine for Swiss standards. The ambience is first class, very classy and absolutely modern (it opened 8 months ago), from the parking lot, elevator to the entrance area, restaurant, terrace and the toilets. A humidor with a generous selection of cigars, a smoker lounge and the opportunity to sit on the terrace round off the visit. We will definitely be back and not just once! We can't judge the food, but the portions looked very generous and super tasty!

I read the reviews and am surprised... Who writes this? Custom publicists or real visitors?…. Every table in the establishment expresses dissatisfaction with the quality of the prepared food! In the city, everyone who visited the statement has already discussed the poor quality of the cuisine! And they expressed dissatisfaction with the quality and price! What five stars are we talking about? Does the management of the establishment know about the main problem of the restaurant? - the taste and professionalism of cooking? We were looking forward to the opening of this place... Gorgeous location, interior and beautiful view of the city from the terrace. That's the point. Our visit to the restaurant was very disappointing. First visit: waiting for food for more than 1 hour, while they served food of a completely low level of preparation: it’s difficult to spoil the meat, but it was possible + served vegetables just floating tasteless in the fat of the oil... the second visit was even more disappointing: we ordered risotto with meat.... Result: lumps of undercooked rice the size of a quail egg, cold meat... while the waiters took the dish away twice because it was not ready... It’s a shame that even after giving the restaurant another chance, we visited it and were disappointed. Complete disappointment in the dishes. It's tasteless! Wasted money for nothing! Service and atmosphere - 5. But visitors are not attracted by the appearance, service and atmosphere, we came for a delicious dinner and ended up leaving hungry and disappointed. Rooftop restaurant, very nice view and atmosphere, the service was great and the food ok. A bit pricey, but not exaggerated. 100CHF for a 2 person lunch with drinks.

I was at Attica with my wife on the way from Konstanz to Zurich and can only say that we were completely satisfied: The name doesn't promise too much, because the location is basically like a penthouse on the upper floor of an office building with a surrounding terrace, which is beautiful Views of the surrounding landscape allowed. The dishes were lovingly prepared and pleased the eyes and the palate. We would be happy to come back when we are in the area.

I always feel welcome, even when smoking cigars and drinking Wyski.

Great restaurant, great food and great atmosphere

Had dinner at Attica with friends one evening. Location is beautiful. However, we were disappointed with the service and the food. The food was far too expensive for the small portions and tasted like nothing. Unfortunately the burger wasn't at restaurant level for the price. It's a shame, but it's the last time we've come. Conclusion: Location = TOP! Food = overpriced for the small portions/no taste

Unfortunately, I can't share or understand the many good reviews here. The restaurant is very nice, there's nothing to say about it. Great furnishings, great atmosphere! But that's it in my opinion... The wine list offers a varied selection from several countries, but as a wine connoisseur you have to realize that there isn't much on offer. As far as the menu goes, I don't think it really fits the restaurant. There are many burgers on offer, in terms of taste as well as the burgers at every snack bar around here. The Wienerschnitzel isn't exactly recommended either. Maybe the menu needs to be rethought.

The food and service was very good...you feel comfortable

Had a girls' night yesterday. Went to Attica with great anticipation. Unfortunately we were disappointed, at 10:06 p.m. the lights were turned off without telling us. I found it unprofessional and presumptuous. With the cell phone flashlight switched on, we were able to see the price of the bill... a shame for such a nice Lockal. Conclusion: unfortunately it lacks the subtleties that I expect at this standard and price.

First of all, expectations fulfilled! We, two couples, visited the wonderful restaurant for the first time. Very friendly welcome, very attentive service overall, even if at 100% capacity like on this Friday evening, the team reaches its limits. Excellent, modern ambience, which is reflected in even more beautiful light with the sunset. The selection of dishes should be a little more extensive, unless you are a burger fan. The same applies to the drinks. My choice for the main course, fried beef fillet, exceeded my expectations - bravo to the chef and the kitchen! Overall, despite the somewhat high room acoustics. which made the conversation a little more difficult (not due to age...), a great dining experience here in Frauenfeld. The subsequent visit to the cigar lounge, with a varied selection of cigars at fair prices, suffered a little from the changing climate. Also here as a note, the acoustic problem. No problem with 4 people, but with 10 guests present it's at the limit of enjoyment! Conclusion. We would be happy to come back. These points, which I viewed somewhat critically, are disproportionate to the otherwise very pleasant overall ambience. Thanks to the hosts.

Beautiful ambience, great materials – classy but not snobby. The veal knuckle and the side dishes were a delight. A little tip: I would take Luma burgers and beef from Argentina off the menu, as there are better quality local offerings - without flying miles! Either way, the Attika is a win for Frauenfeld – I would love to come back.

Very stylishly furnished restaurant with a wonderful view. Advantage of parking spaces in front of the house and in the underground car park. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Our food was very delicious (including schnitzel with the best fries), the wine list was extensive, with wines that you cannot find on the menu in other restaurants. A very successful evening for us (4 people). The only drawback: the ventilation in the cigar lounge needs to be improved. We'll be back and are looking forward to the terrace when the temperatures are warmer.

Really nicely decorated, great view and great atmosphere. Service employees were a bit awkward and waiting times were sometimes long. The food was so good for all of us. I ordered the beef fillet with the Bleu cooking level. I got a piece of fillet from the sous vide cooker. Unfortunately, it's a shame that the best piece of meat, which is otherwise extremely tender, is cooked to death. The fries were surprisingly tasty.

The staff made an effort, but still seemed a bit unsure and awkward. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio of the food is rather disappointing. The 4 course menu was bad for the price. The carpaccio was bland, as was the pike perch fillet. Soup and dessert were again good. We won't be coming back for dinner - but we'd love to have a drink at the chic bar.

To celebrate our 4 year old, my girlfriend and I had dinner here and WOW what a great evening. The service is top notch, friendly and quick. The food 10 out of 10, the veal knuckle was simply a dream, the best was the yuzu tart, the sweet wine that went perfectly with it. Thanks.

The Attika is a very nice restaurant with a cigar lounge. Very good cuisine, lots of choice, everything was very tasty. Service staff very friendly, attentive and competent. We wanted to take a look at the restaurant while having an aperitif - after all We stayed for dinner - and it was just great. The “last” table - we hadn’t reserved a reservation - was perfect. My impression is that there are no 'bad' tables in this restaurant. The meal was a great experience, whether it was a starter, main course or dessert, it was simply excellent. The service was friendly and accommodating from the start. We will definitely come back - not just for aperitifs!!!

Perfect service, excellent food, very nice restaurant and I will return again

A few days ago I had dinner at Attica with a good friend. My burger tasted good, but I thought it was a bit of a shame that such high-quality meat was fried completely. My colleague ordered the vegetarian steak as the main course. The steak was completely overpriced and the portion was tiny, more like an appetizer. After dessert we were no longer noticed or served by the service. We would have liked to order another drink, but we had to wait over an hour and finally paid straight away. Interestingly, the table next to us was diligently served by middle-aged men, we don't know how to interpret that at this point. Attica also wants to create a chic impression, although the purple logo on the wall and the red lights on the umbrella are more reminiscent of a shisha bar. Since we didn't feel welcome, it was probably our first and last visit, which is a shame.

Disaster, I can't say anything more about it! Never eaten so badly...

The food can only be described as a pure gift for soul, the oschenswanz soup is a work of love and art and a great start to the rest of the wonderful meal. The location is the perfect setting for the high quality food, with its fantastic views during sunset hours. The reason i did not give 5 stars is due to the service which unfortunately does not do the food any justice. I look forward to being able to enjoy sunset on the balcony with a dj maybe and after work cocktails hopefully.

Great location, excellent reception from the manager. The salad was super crunchy, especially the salad dressing was very, very tasty with a grainy mustard. The main course: turkey involtini with wild garlic risotto and sautéed mushrooms was world class. Special mention should also be made of the chef “Klaus” who stopped by every table and asked whether the food was tasty and still had time for a small talk. Wow the restaurant has just opened and is already so good. I'm excited to see where the journey goes... Bravo to the entire Aticca team, keep it up!

Enjoy the sunset on the roof of Frauenfeld. This is done in a brilliant way at Attica. Paired with very tasty food and a fine wine. We had Attica Burger, golden butt fillet, oxtail soup and foie gras. The best french fries are here! Try it out...
