Nice place. The service is not good at all. The burger was okay, but the fries were not good. And I've seen public toilets cleaner than these.

Very nice place, totally different from any other restaurant, which totally adds to its charm. The waitresses were great, super welcoming and attentive. We had Hamburgers which were very good! Really! The only downside is the brightness, very dark for us.

Very friendly bar, with drinks for all tastes and quality! I highly recommend for a good evening. Although I didn't taste the cuisine, it made me extremely hungry!!

Catastrophic! While passing through this establishment, we thought we would have a good time. What a mistake, or horror. To the Service staff who are clearly not in the profession, it took 35 minutes to serve 3 drinks which moreover did not correspond to our order placed twice, because the first waitress had not noted our order, and returned a another colleague take it back. Despite this wait, we remained very courteous and smiling. The dishes were quite good (served 1 hour after our arrival), apart from the fries, the oil of which needed to be changed. After paying, we left! No one saw fit to say goodbye to us! This leaves you wondering. For owners, the calculation is quickly done. Evening show, the restaurant is full! A question to ask yourself is how likely customers are to come back? Nothing !

We had booked at 6:30 p.m. specifying that we had a show at 8:30 p.m. and it was impossible to receive a dish for 2 hours. My wife (pregnant) had to leave without dinner... Disastrous service.

Disappointed with our dinner this evening. Reservation for 6:45 p.m., order taken at ~7:20 p.m. after insisting with the person in the room, and plates at the table at 8:05 p.m. even though we had asked when ordering if it was possible to be served quickly enough to be able to get to the Beaulieu theater by 8:30 p.m. If the kitchen was already busy at that time, we would have had a drink and a sandwich at the theater. We were not able to enjoy our meal at all (which was not cheap, 14.- for a few cut vegetables and a small jar of condiment for example) which we had to swallow in less than 20 minutes and we did not We weren't the only ones. We would have appreciated not being ignored during this whole wait, we were even preparing to have to leave without honoring our order.

Planned my birthday there, they gave us a whole floor and the vibe as super cosy and fun! The staff was so cool and nice!!! Nicest staff in all Lausanne, chill atmosphere, music all the time so you can dance or chill and talk with your friends! The cocktails and food are amazing, good price/quality ratio, and super nice location, would definitely go again and recommend it

Among few places in Lausanne that I really liked pf atmosphere, food , space , service and personnel. I asked for extra juice in my drink since the taste was so strong and bitter and bar girl just accepted . Big Outdoor space as well . All great 💕🍔🥘🍛😍definitely will be back

A place that is absolutely not suitable for groups and even less so if there are children. Very average service, forgotten dishes, drinks. On the menu side, only one dish for the children (pasta). We took him a chesburger, we didn't like it, they added spicy sauce inside (even though we said it was for a 5 year old). So, I recommend this place if there are 2-3 of you or if you can go to the terrace, but at that point don't wait for the service, there isn't any. Avoid if you have children.

Solid spot for drinks in the evening. We sat outside but they have blankets you can use so it wasn’t too cold. It also looks very cosy inside - next time we need to try the food!

Magnificent terrace and friendly atmosphere

Super pleasant terrace, one of the best in Lausanne, under the trees, colorful, with lights, a bit of a tavern atmosphere. Fairly wide choice of drinks, I would recommend for a drink rather than to eat. The service is quite slow, and for some drinks we had to remind the waitresses and waiters several times that we had placed an order because they had forgotten it. Food choice is ok, vegetarian options available. I had a burger and must say that I was somewhat disappointed, it was 90% meat, whereas I was expecting a little variety. Very generous portions.

As opposed to what the name and the location suggest ( a very old vaudois castle originally), this is a south American restaurant with great, true south American cuisine. The garden is the best, somewhere between Berlin, New York and a Bavarian beer garden. The chairs don't match, the staff is kind if not entirely organised and everything is terribly romantic. Sometimes there's a pop up shop in the high table corner of the garden. Everyone is welcome: kids playing with the gravel, young Bankers and hippies, blonde Jetsetters and old lausanners.

The place is very cool, perfect for hanging out, but the food (burgers) were very salty (what a shame). Delicious drinks and good, fast service.

Amazing place with great vibe, nice service even the place is busy. BUT Had the worst burger I ever had. Oily to the point the bread was full red, a real sponge of spicy oil Salty to the point you can barely eat it. First time I was not able to finish a burger. A friend was also not able to eat more than a bite of it.

Few choices of cuisine. Rather expensive. Terrace in summer nice but bench for sitting not very comfortable. Random service.... (+ Order error not corrected in the end)

I had a great time with my family. The dishes are magnificent, very good and plentiful. No complaints. The service was great. Specifically the lady with purple hair. She is very professional, very welcoming and she knows how to answer our questions about the dishes. Thank you Madam. The other waiters and waitresses are good but we feel less enthusiasm for their job.

Frankly the unacceptable wait, plus no rosé at all. And the waiter with a Spanish accent, I didn't understand what he was telling us. Plus his shirt was very very very average.

My last 3 visits to this bar over the last two weeks have disappointed me a lot! However, it was a place that I liked where I regularly went for a drink. But for some time now some waiters have been really rude and unpleasant.

Great time spent at the inn following an event at the Palais de Beaulieu. The waitresses were lovely and the food was delicious. Homemade lemonade is delicious. The terrace is truly splendid! I recommend without hesitation.

Very good tropical mule, pleasant cold Tarator velouté then lamb and beef kefta on cold couscous with very tasty citrus fruits. On the other hand, help the service. This really lacks training and professionalism. It's a shame, but this terrace is still nice.

Excellent place! good, little menu, quick and nice service. Music was a bit too loud at our table inside, but besides that very comfortable atmosphere

Location is nice but prices are above the average. Not mentioning the service.. More than 1 hour of waiting just for a planchette and other cold dishes. One of the worst service ever.. and a big bill at the end of the dinner. How can you ask 28- for a plate with three pieces of chou-fleur? What a shame..

Place is undeniably cool but the staff is ridiculously impolite, especially behind the bar - they looked super bothered when we tried to order drinks. The food takes AGES, don't even bother. We waited 1.15 hours for 3 shared dishes and we were basically about to leave when the food came. Cherry on the cake, there was no bread left in the kitchen so we had to eat our cured meats without it. We didn't get a single polite gesture during the whole evening and when we tried to order dessert the kitchen was closed. We definitely won't be coming back to feel unwelcome and waste a whole evening waiting to eat.

Nice patio and good price for a very good sized aperol spritz. We tried a few entries which were very good. The atmosphere is nice and I will totally come back.

Superb terrace but the service is a disaster. The waiters are terrible, you will have a 50/50 chance of getting your order right. Don't try to get anything other than a beer or a spritz, which is the staff's only skill. And I'm not even talking about hygiene behind the bar. Absolutely avoid

We went for brunch, so it has nothing to do with brunch. There are 5 dishes to choose from on the menu. So I chose the burrito which was excellent, for 23 chf I thought at least I would have a small salad on my plate or a side dish, but no you will receive the burrito cut in half on your plate and that's it! A little expensive for a burrito and 1h30 wait for the dishes.

Spent an evening on the mezzanine, very beautiful place... Very pleasant and efficient staff. Mezze very good but a little too fatty. Good atmosphere but we were placed on the mezzanine being around thirty, we ended up a little too crowded.

The place has its charm, undoubtedly an excellent bar, but don't go there to eat! 4 of us went there, three had the cheeseburger and we all got sick, maybe the meat was spoiled, but all three had a not great night! The service was not very professional, the 2 waitresses did not know the menu (no answers to the questions asked), and the requests were not fulfilled (no pickles... uh... that difficult?)... And please, the orange crème brulée... there's no cream and it's not burnt! It's a flan with orange sauce... Not to mention the music is way too loud, we can't hear each other... that's maybe also why the waitresses are lost!!! One thing is clear, none of the 4 of us will go back!!! So I strongly advise against it! (I put 1 star because it’s impossible to give 0)

To counter the bad comments, I would like to say that my experience was completely positive. We ate very well, the Cheeseburger was plentiful and very good, the roasted cauliflower really perfect, the service was friendly and fast. Exceptionally we were able to eat the main courses at 6 p.m., but probably because there was a show at 8 p.m. in Beaulieu. Otherwise there are only starters at 6 p.m. and main courses only from 7 p.m. You just have to know it. Thank you for this very pleasant meal.

Friendly bar a little out of the city center. The outdoor service was not very clear, however the cocktails were very good and the waiters were very friendly. The place is quite intimate indoors, I recommend booking in winter if you want to be indoors.

1h30 to receive our dishes on a Sunday even though we had reserved and had to announce the dishes in advance (which also remained quite simple and should therefore be quick) Big organizational problem in the kitchen! And no offer of bread or anything else to keep you waiting... Too bad because the setting is quite nice.

This Sunday brunch was a superb experience on an idyllic terrace. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the nature present allows you not to realize that you are in the city. The service was impeccable with smiling and helpful staff throughout the meal. The setting made you want to stay longer and have another drink. However, the beer is excessively expensive for my taste, 5.50 francs for barely 25cl… (not to mention other drinks, even without alcohol). Despite this, the Brunch Burger was a good value delight and the Haloumi Sanagaki healthy and fresh as expected. The desire to go back there, to eat, is there!

An adorable garden cafe with friendly staff and an excellent Basque cheesecake! Great place to enjoy a pleasant day and the breeze under the shade of the trees.

Great location together with some of the most mediocre service in Lausanne. The waiters are consistently too slow and disorganized. On my last visit we waited for over an hour for our drinks, none ever arrived despite repeated attempts to order. Finally one of the most experienced waiters took matters into her own hands and brought us our order only after asking how much time we were waiting.

The staff was super friendly! I ordered a medium steak and it was what I got! The only problem was the knives. They were a bit too blunt and cutting the steak was quite challenging. But this is minor for me. Would definitely go again!

Second meal in the evening on the terrace. Very nice place but each time disorganized and quite slow service (lack of staff?). Why not assign tables to your servers? First visit, nothing to complain about the dish (meat-based), the second evening, I had a peach salad with burrata and shallots. I was expecting to have a peach salad and not a green salad with a few thin pieces of unfortunately tasteless peaches. Meal really too light. Maybe offer bread as an option or incorporate cereal or something more substantial even if it means paying extra. A third dessert option would be welcome. Perfect homemade lemonade!

Nice place for drinks. For the rest it is a CATASTROPHE (same experience as last year at the same time of year): - dish that was never brought - an hour wait for a dessert and the need to ask for it several times. - glass of wine that we had to ask for more than three times before it was finally brought to us with at least an hour of waiting - more than an hour of waiting for cheeseburgers (no longer hungry when we received them) -the waiters/waitresses all take care of the same tables so the organization really needs to be reviewed!!! This would perhaps make it possible to know what customers have ordered and so that they can receive their orders on time. Avoid at all costs going there to eat, especially if it’s for a birthday. You will be disappointed…. Service and organization to be reviewed!!

Great place, beautiful terrace, very friendly staff, original menu.

Ultra slow service, we waited half an hour for a starter and the main course did not come after 1 hour and having asked 3 times. The service is poorly organized, no one knows who was served, when and what they ordered. Good entry but service clearly needs to be reviewed. Also perhaps installing people who drink and smoke not next to people who eat that would be the minimum.

One of my favorite places in Lausanne

Lots of outdoor seating, good tapas and a great selection of drinks. The garden is really very nice to relax in the summer. It may be better to book for a weekend evening. We ordered the sweet potatoes, parsnip croquettes and the Hugo cocktail, nothing to complain about, except that they got the notes wrong when we wanted to pay but that was quickly rectified!

Friendly bohemian setting but food twice too expensive. A pan of asparagus for 24 chf limited to three stunted asparagus on a mountain of rice. All very good but asparagus is expensive. My friend's dish was of the same ilk. Young and inexperienced, but pleasant service. On the other hand, you take the risk of receiving your beer or your meal in the back or on your knees... In conclusion, overrated.

Pathetic. Marginal food and waited an hour to get our order. Plates arrived one at a time. Lausanne isn’t know for its restaurants and this one managed to disappoint in the context of generally uninspiring restaurants.

After finally finding a seat at a table and ordering, a waitress announces that the table is reserved, although there is no sign on the table. We were therefore asked to change locations even though our drinks were half finished and no other place was available. At 7.50 a pint it’s still annoying to pay to get kicked out lol Nice decor otherwise

A disaster, it's a shame because the place and the terrace are very pretty. I was with a friend, we arrived at 1 p.m., our order arrived at the table at 2:30 p.m.... never seen before. The waitresses were completely overwhelmed, there was even one who cried because the customers were complaining about the waiting time.... the manager did not even apologize, an absolute lack of respect towards the customers... very bad experience

Friday evening, March 18, there were 3 of us, placed upstairs with a Grancy café atmosphere but less bobo. The music so LOUD that the princesses of Dubai = the 3 waitresses forgot our starters. The dishes are plentiful, the problem is not being heard because the music😕fortunately booking the fork we didn't deserve our 30% on the menu😁

This became our standard place to have a weekend drink. They surprised us with many different cocktails: martini espresso, whiskey one, tropical ones. We just told them what we are in the mood for, and they came out with delicious solutions. :)

Excellent atmosphere, the quality of the food is not satisfactory and the wait for the meal is too long! Green salad with Caesar sauce but without chicken is too expensive! We were disappointed by this dish which should be served as a starter and with a lower price.

Excellent place with Latin music on Wednesday evenings. Really nice atmosphere and quality food. The decor clearly contrasts better with the Swiss average. Well done and we will come back
