Magnificent Easter menu this Sunday, March 31! A real pleasure to dine in this warm inn. We were very well received and we ate like kings, for a more than adequate quality-price ratio! We enjoyed a fillet of pike perch on asparagus risotto (what a delight!), a lamb shank and mashed potatoes, and finally an almond cake and a scoop of ice cream. Excellent from a to z. Thank you for the welcome and the delicious meal. We highly recommend the hostel to anyone who reads this review! ;)

I had the cordon bleu and fries. Everything was very good, the fries were homemade and the service was professional, pleasant and discreet. I recommend without hesitation.

Here's a real little discovery in this Bullois restaurant with a legendary name: the Vacherin fondue! The summit in this field! Other guests had the perch fillets: also a real treat for the eyes and the palate! This pretty restaurant is worth a visit. Perfect service! Reasonable wine prices. Very bad experience with a dish that was way too salty. This can happen but the boss has no idea of ​​taking the remark positively and offering an apology or an alternative. No sense of customer service.

Arriving from Geneva at 1 p.m. this Sunday, December 31, we were very well received to enjoy an excellent moit/moit fondue and a very good dessert with the famous double Gruyère cream which unfortunately (the only small regret) was not served with coffee. We will surely come back during another visit to the canton of Fribourg.

Waited exactly 1h30 for a steak tartare (Passable!) with a small salad for the wait. There were plenty of people there, but I was asked to taste my tartare and it was served an hour later. Needless to say, I will no longer return to this establishment!

A very nice brasserie with very beautiful floral decorations and a classy ambience. The service is extremely attentive and the food and drinks are exquisite. The recommendations of “Roast Beef Tartar”, “Vitello Tonnato” and the wine flattered our palates. And when my lady enjoys dinner in my company... 🥰 But be sure to go with “your sweetie” (gender-free ;-) and experience it for yourself.

Incompetent and unfriendly service, more than an hour of waiting for 2 salads. No excuses, not even a drink or coffee offered for the waiting time. The decor is cold and impersonal. I do not recommend at all. As for the quality of the food: correct, but nothing more. Damage. The response to my first message which is given below by the Owner is false. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were ignored by the staff and as no one came to welcome us we waited at the entrance for a while before finally going to sit alone at a table. We were not informed of anything about a waiting time. The people who ate a fondue next to us didn't have reservations either. It is not by questioning yourself in this way that you will be able to progress. By “declining” your responsibility when it is precisely your responsibility: the well-being of your customers.

I am forced to note that by responding to my wife in this way, you are showing crass bad faith. We were not notified that you were serving priority booked customers As proof, I have the fact that a table that arrived after us and which also had not reserved was served well before us. In any case, your response clearly indicates the lack of capacity you have to question yourself and the poor quality of your welcome.

Wow!!! You destroyed the inside. It could be anywhere. This has nothing of the Gruyère aesthetic. You can tell these owners are not Swiss. The tables and chairs are like in a cafeteria. Gruyère is a style, it is warm with natural wood. Daniel created an incredible restaurant after the 13th closed as a tavern. The food and ambiance were special. If every restaurant is owned by foreigners, you will never taste Gruyère.
