Nice place and good food to recommend

We went at noon for lunch and had the formula with gazpacho-vitello. Incredible value for money. It's plentiful. And a real delight, tasty, fresh, all homemade. The plates very well presented. the fries are great too. Impeccable service. The boss couple are very nice.

The welcome is always excellent, the service impeccable and the food top notch. We have been coming for years and we are never disappointed. Bravo also for the takeaway dishes, it's as good as in the restaurant. Les Platanes is an inn that really stands out from the crowd.

It's been quite a while since I've been back there and my opinion is to say that we don't care if this or that restaurant is referenced or has stars because what is certain is that these restaurateurs have been doing their job for so many years with passion for their profession and respect for their customers and that is certainly what is important. Enjoyed dinner at this restaurant for an anniversary. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Food was absolutely delicious. I had the "Les Platanes" menu with one entree for CHF69. My husband had foie gras as an entree and the beef tartare as a main. Everything was beautifully presented and so yummy. Ambiance is fancy-ish, with candlesticks, heavy curtains and lots of artificial flowers. Would definitely recommend for special occasions.
