Auer & Co in Zürich

I sat down outside on a seemingly makeshift wooden bench to finish eating a panino from around the corner (super delicious from Mario!), as I have been walking around the area from time to time for years to see what has changed and what has happened Sent away by the waiter for brainless reasons. He told me this was a café and I actually wanted a coffee, but the guy didn't want me. Unfortunately I can't write anything about the contents of this café. What can you say about that? Have fun for the operators!

Overall it was very nice there and the matcha latte is great, but the coffee was very sour, maybe the beans weren't completely fresh, and the barista was also a little rude.

The atmosphere is always good and the atmosphere is casual. The choice of food could be larger.

Nothing fancy, but very friendly place, ok coffee. Love their terrace. They offered us free babyccino, which is very kind (we didn't accept it, but still, it makes you feel welcomed).

Coffee and bread are good too. The view is not good. It's in an alley... Good for laptop or reading for a while

What can I say if I just like it

Loved it. Great place to work from. Inside and outside. Good food, too. Not too noisy, and has a vibe to it. Enjoyed my morning there a lot.

It's a cozy place hidden in zurich and the perfect place for productive hipsters or young people to have a few drinks. The staff seemed rather exhausted and the food was at about the same level as highway gas station food. The meeting rooms are decent too.

Nice homely place with lots of tables and great espresso. A huge selection of exquisite board games such as Andor, Azul, Blood Rage, Munchkin and many, many more classic board games! The food portions are a bit small but the food is very good. There is the option for co-working upstairs.

Great place for coffee and co-working.

Love the place to work, drink coffe and meet people. The historical industrial touch is great. It rellay is a pitty though that you already close at 5pm daily. What about an after work Thursday where you open longer, like 8pm, or so, for having some drinks!?

It's nice there the coffee is very good excellent actually although the place is a little bit hipster it's comfortable and you don't feel the pressure that you need to order a drink every half an hour. It is a little bit overpriced though to tell you the truth but they will have to make up for all these hipsters that go and sit all day there with a cup of coffee.

This place is very good for working because many of them come here for work and the staff don't care how long we stay. I didn't ask WiFi here but I didn't see any name on it which is a pity. But depending on your table, you can reach to the outlets. The rooibos latte was tasty.

Nice atmosphere for a co-working place. Coffee is not good quality for the price. One of the baristas is completely lacking basic skills and is also extremely rude. I tried her coffee multiple times hoping it was a one-time mistake, but unfortunately it is consistently very bad.

Really nice cafe to work or chat. The co-working space upstairs is also the loveliest one I know in Zurich. Sad it's closed Sat+Sun.

Very cozy, bright and friendly atmosphere. Fair prices, very friendly and uncomplicated staff. There are both single and four-person seats and also sofas. Very varied overall. Ideal for working or studying in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Every place has a power connection.

A bit hidden in the middle of the city. Very nice facility. The coffee was very good! The choice of food was rather small, especially when it came to sweets. Overall, highly recommended for drinking coffee.

Really enjoy the space and hours and overall vibe.

Extremely comfortable. It has that touch of hip start-up flair. You can work creatively there, which is something you would otherwise only find in other large coffee chains. The music and ambience is fantastic, as is the coffee and the people at the bar. Very well located. I would like to go there again.

Perfect for drinking coffee & working

Auer is definitely something for coffee lovers. Those who would like to keep trying new types of coffee. New varieties are regularly introduced, which are only available for a few weeks and are then replaced by new varieties. Sometimes not 08.15, but very exciting and interesting. Just try it out!

Always delicious bites in a great environment

I used to come here often to work/study. the atmosphere would be great in theory, but the music has been so loud lately that the table literally starts to vibrate, and even my noise cancelling headphones can't dampen the volume anymore. Today I had to leave early, because my ears started to hurt from the loud music. It felt as if I was in a club. One time I even went up to one of the employees and asked them, if they could maybe turn down the volume a bit, and she literally laughed in my face and made fun of me together with her friend that was standing besides her.

I used to really like Auer & Co to work but recently the music has been exceptionally loud (all day) which is rather a distraction than a good working environment. Hope this will again change in the future.

The location and furniture is nice. Service is very passive. Prices are Zürich level expensive. Products are good but since service was quite bad, the felt experience wasn't sufficient.

The café is quite busy and therefore loud. Hip atmosphere, but a bit dark at the individual workstations, especially in the basement. The coffee is good, but there are no "lattes" (what's wrong with those hip cafes in Zurich?), service could be friendlier.

incredibly good coffee! and place to work remotely

Pretty cool cafe. Maybe it was the wrong day, but the two of us were the only ones who came to the Käffele. All other tables were mostly occupied by students with headsets. It was closer to a university space than a city coffee shop.

This is the perfect place for working quietly with laptops, with bottomless filter coffee for 9.5 CHF or nice large draft IPA for 6 CHF. You can easily spend there your day. The espresso I tried was far from perfect, however...

A bit hard to find but it checks all the boxes! Plus the drinks are not expensive :)
