Aura in Zürich

Great place. Especially if you love meat, so soft and tender. Have been here two times, mostly cause my girlfriend wanted it. We both love the food. Bit pricey but if you have money who cares!

I had tried to get in to various restaurants on the Michelin guide and kept calling places, and quite a few of them were very rude. I was able to get a reservation here though, and I'm really glad I did. The grilled sole entree was absolutely out of this world, just incredible. Get the spinach and rice as side dishes, they accompany the dish very well. The service was excellent and I felt like the wait staff really cared and wanted me to have a good evening. They let me try multiple wines so I could pick one I liked. The place is a bit loud and on the pricey side , but it's a great dining experience with a wonderful staff, I'd definitely come back.

Very good service, we were warmly welcomed by the (Asian woman) in the smoker lounge. Highly recommended! Because there was a lot going on, my friends and I were always served quickly and had a lovely evening.

What an extraordinary restaurant experience :) Friendly and professional service, delicious food and good choice of wine :) Highly recommend! The biophilic interior design makes it a special location. Their menu has a good choice of food items and a huge wine card. We ordered the sushi rolls as starters, blown away by the fine and fresh food art! Honestly never would I have imagined to have such a quality of sushi rolls in a grill restaurant! We ordered the Korean style Entrecôte and the prime short ribs. Both were on point and delicious. The only negative point was that we waited for 40 minutes on the main course.

Rarely have I experienced such unfriendly staff...

In the smoking lounge there is a super professional, friendly and above all efficient one (Lakky). Super Service!

The sea bass was cooked with exceptional restraint, as was the side of vegetables. Bravissimo! The mochi dessert platter didn't hit the same mark for me, but you might be more forgiving if you fancy ice cream in your mochi.

Great ambience, excellent quality. Aura is ALWAYS worth a visit.

Chic, great service + Smokers Lounge with a nice atmosphere

Very nice restaurant, wonderful ambience, friendly and courteous staff. The bar on the first floor has a very large smoking area which has a large selection of cigarettes and drinks/cocktails. The staff is also very friendly and competent. The Aura is really a heartfelt recommendation.

The bar was just disappointing. The ambience was boring and the drinks were overpriced. The service was unfriendly and slow. I would definitely not recommend this bar.

Beautiful ambience and atmosphere, relax at the end of the day and enjoy time with nice music The bartender conjured up very fine cocktails that taste divine and can only be recommended. For those who like to smoke cigars, just add another + point. I would have loved to give you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ when you were 10. I will definitely come back and recommend you. Staff is friendly and attentive.

First address in Zurich when it comes to parties/events. Very classy and extremely good cuisine!

We went to the bar for a cocktail, which was very good. The service was questionable, glasses were grabbed with our fingers to be taken away and no one asked if we would like anything else. In addition, despite there being a lot of staff, we were not offered a cloakroom. A little disappointed, maybe just a bad day...?

We chose AURA to celebrate my birthday. For the 9th, we were able to spend a wonderful, stylish and exuberant evening from start to finish. Starting with our aperitif in the bar, through the very tasty dinner with great service in the stylish restaurant and a great, exuberant party with good sound in the club. The AURA is the perfect place for a successful evening from A to Z without having to change location. Many thanks to the entire AURA team for this unforgettable evening. We'll definitely come back.

Way overpriced for the experience and food. Taste of the food was okay, temperature was way too low, service was friendly but slow. As part of a bigger group we payed almost CHF 200.- each (incl. drinks). Not worth it.

Amazing Steaks...just the brownie for dessert was disappointing

18 CHF for tap water is too much even for Zürich (and we ordered also other drinks). I knew that it is an expensive restaurant and I expected to spend more than 100 each, however previous times I experienced a super nice and enjoyable ambient. Yesterday was super loud and uncomfortable. I would not go there anymore.

Good food, beautifully decorated and presented. Still not worth the high price. Very profit-oriented restaurant: Soft drinks 0.33 are not served in bottles. Everything is open, the bar is 0.30 because it's cheaper to buy. A no go in this price league. After 2 hours you are politely thrown out. Better alternatives: -George Bar -Dolder -Roof Garden -Baur au Lac

Ribeye wasn't particularly good... But service was very good

Nice restaurant, fine food, nice staff and after 2 hours you have to clear the table with a half-full wine bottle and no dessert because the tables were given away again after the mentioned 2 hours. When you make your reservation online you are not informed of this, but as soon as you enter the restaurant you are told "Good evening, can I hang up your jacket? ...and by the way, your table is only reserved until 8 p.m. Then you unfortunately have to give up the place. .." Huh?

The sound system and light show are top notch! Service and food are top!!!

We had a fantastic night out at Aura for the Pink Rabbit event on Saturday nights. The DJ was great, commercial and fun with sing along and dance along tracks all night. The entertainment was top notch and a nice place too. Next time we will try the dinner and show tickets

I didn't think it was good value for money. Starter portion was very modest for the price of 21.-. The service was ok but not very attentive. I won't go there again.

The food was good. Price performance, however, for a Tenderlion with a decorative vegetable bouquet - well. The service staff is simply questionable - no decency and obviously no desire to work, let alone professionally serve the guest. To be more precise, the gentleman with a short haircut with brown hair and a blonde waitress didn't even have the decency to greet the guests. It's better to walk or stand there bored and stare at someone's face. In addition, with a half-full restaurant and one course, we had to wait almost 40 minutes for 4 pieces of meat and some fries from the deep fryer… Please…. Think carefully about the concept and especially the service ;).

Very welcoming and pleasant stuff. We ordered Duck gyoza, Sushi and beef tartar for starters and it tasted delicious. Also we get rib eye steak medium baked with French fries and creamy spinach what looked attractive. Even though it cost too much money, it worth that.

I came in the Aura by recommendation of my friend and the entry in the restaurant was nice and easy, they put me and my friend right away at the table, the service and the ambient was on the point, the food was great and the and the guy who was working there Andrei is so kind, and he gave me nice recommendations about the food and perfect ribs, definitely recommend for others. This is one of the go to places in Zürich. The ambiance of the restaurant on the ground floor is amazing. It's young, modern, stylish, hip and I love the lightning of the restaurant. If gives you an exclusive feeling. The service is top. The food is amazing, they always serve great food. I love their menu. I can't think of anything to complain. I will definitely come back:)

We presented our LED show in the Aura Club. The location is impressive and perfect for corporate events and show acts.

We went to party at Aura last night and one person was very aggressive …. It become a conflict at the dance floor . What was truly disappointing that there is no security, no one helped, no one monitored club area… in Icon for example always security watching people, always some one next to dance floor. I found it very unprofessional and I don’t feel secure any more at the place.

terrible management and unprofessional security team in the club Istanbul night event on 10.06.2023 so many aggressive and drunk guys. big club but only 2 small size security which absolutely failed to guarantee guest's safety after a fight happened, tried to bring the issue to the organizer and management and they just ignored it

10.06.2023 during the Turkish party, I witnessed an unprovoked attacked where the attacker punched another person very hard in the face. He was very aggressive and was looking for a fight. The security team handled the situation extremely poorly and I left with my friends as we did not feel safe there any more.

The ambience is great. The food too. But there is no service! We had to wait over 20 minutes for the dirty dishes to be cleared from the table and we also had to pour the wine ourselves! Bad service with excessive prices!

Very tasty tomato soup and the BEST beef burger I have eaten so far. The price is proud but for me it was worth it for this burger. The waiter who served us was brilliant, did a great job and was very personable. Highly recommended and would love to come back. Thank you very much.

Right from the start you are told that you only have two hours to eat. So associated with pressure. Bad staff. My order was brought to another table and then to me. No way. Too expensive for what they ask. The meat 🥩 was grilled too hard and the quality was poor. Never again. Never again.

A 10, everything is excellent, the location, walking distance like everything else in Zürich, the first-class service as soon as they greet you at the door, the food: if you like meat like me, it's a 10! Atmosphere, spectacular, just like in the photos, all the details, just like the photos or better, if I have to criticize something it is the artificial plastic plates, which I am not a fan of, but they didn't look bad. I will return and recommend it. The prices are a little high if you come from Madrid, everything is very Swiss 🇨🇭,

Very unique venue. Restaurant is downstairs but bar and lounges are upstairs. Is quite chic and sophisticated without being snobby.

Awesome steaks, beautiful wines. Excellent sommelier. Maybe sometimes the communication with the waitress could be slightly better, but finally it was ok. The oyster mushrooms was extreme good.

One of the best steaks I ever had. I really recommend the Truffle Filet Steak

A place for business lunches. Simple ok kitchen. Food is ok. Salad seems to be pré washed. Had a dry texture on my last visit. On the food side everything else is OK. Nothing exceptional nothing bad. Hence overall ok. Service was friendly however extremely slow. We waited a long time for everything. The restaurant is how I call it functional good to meet and speak. The menu is strongly asian influenced. It is Zurich pricing... it is near paradeplatz after all 😊.

Nice restaurant, friendly and tasty

Aura has been our go-to place when we've wanted to celebrate something, both as a couple and as a family. We have in particular enjoyed the quality of the food as well as the attentive service. We have probable been to Aura about 20-30 times over the years. Unfortunately during the last 6 months we have noticed a significant decline, both in the quality of the food as well as in the service. The drop was yesterday when we had to wait close to an hour for our food and when it arrived the steaks were too cooked. I sent one of them back (the others were too hungry to wait) and we were told that it would take another hour for us to get a new steak. We ordered medium/rare and they were way too over-cooked. When you pay $55 for a steak, you want it to be good. The service was patchy. We were not offered anything else to drink after the first drink was done, we had to ask for bread and more water. From time to time we felt forgotten in the corner of the restaurant. We were very disappointed, and it's a bit sad since this is a place we have really loved. The restaurant took off the desserts from the bill to compensate that we were not happy. At least that. All in all, for that price, sadly, you can get better service and better food elsewhere in Zurich. We will take a break for now.

The food was excellent, I haven't had such a good beef fillet with truffle jus for a long time. Thanks to the chef who prepared the meat.

Wonderful restaurant, cozy, despite many guests and extremely attentive and nice staff. The vegetarian dishes are very good and also the meat is good. Rather in the upper price segment, especially for the quantity. Otherwise absolutely recommended.

Very great restaurant, absolutely cozy and super nice staff. The meat is fantastic and tender. The selection of side dishes leaves nothing to be desired, as does the wine selection. Afterwards you can have a small drink on the upper floor to end the evening comfortably. In the upper price segment, unfortunately a bit expensive for the quantity, a little more would be desirable. But otherwise absolutely recommended.

It was a fine dining experience

Went to Rompe with 4 friends on saturday at Aura. We got two Vodka Redbulls and 4 shots of Tequila. I found the prices were very suspiciously high. I told them to redo the math and gave us a smaller summ. On sunday we checked our Bankbalances and found that we payed over 100 CHF for those few drinks. I don‘t know how that amount of cash was taken of our cards. Some of us are still students and don‘t have extra money to spend. I find it very sad to do such thing…
