Santa Lucia in Zürich

They were able to serve us relatively late at night (10pm) while other eateries were closed. It was very crowded, but they were able to find room for our party of 7. All the servers had a lovely attitude. The Italian lady who served our table spoke to us in Spanish and participated in our culture (Mexican), which was a joy! To top it all off, the pizza we ordered was delicious. We had 2 Prosciutto e Funghi and 2 Toscana. Both were incredible! 100% recommend, must be one of the best eateries in Zurich.

The Santa Lucia restaurant on Paradeplatz offers excellent food in an elegant atmosphere. The service, especially from Noemi, is friendly and professional. A top choice for a dining experience.

Feel this is a tourist trap. The pizza was just ok. Ordered the margarita and Michelangelo. The capese was the best and the meatballs were flavorful. But, maybe was expecting too much from this place. Maybe it was just a bad day for the restaurant.

Service and food are excellent. A very big negative point is the acoustics in the basement. It's just too loud at lunchtime to have a normal conversation. On the one hand, the small tables are very close together, but on the other hand, there are no sound-absorbing elements.

The fat, bloated waiter with glasses has the worst behavior. Even on my birthday I was insulted. We will never go back 👎

6 people, 4xpizza, 2xpasta. The pizzas were all bland and lukewarm at best for CHF 25-28 each. The pasta was ok, but nothing more. Salad: good. Dessert: Ice cream and tiramisu were good. Service friendly and attentive. Price/performance ratio weak, definitely not a recommendation for pizzas.

We were able to celebrate my master's degree at Sanata Lucia on Paradeplatz, which I would do again in a heartbeat. We received a super friendly welcome and the owner personally offered us his best place. The food would be absolutely great and for a fair price too. The ambience was great. Since we had the window seat in the back area, we were able to have a good chat because it was nice and quiet there. Highly Recommended!

Very friendly staffs and cosy atmosphere. Price is quite good for Zurich city center. I am a big eater, the portion is a bit too small. Many options of food from seafood, pasta, pizza, salad, beef, poetry etc. From light meal to heavier dinner.

Server took too long to serve us. Instead of coming to our table, he stood behind the cash register and looked around. The food was okay, you can make it yourself at home. It was also so crowded that we couldn't hear our own conversations. I don't recommend it

We were here for a birthday dinner. The restaurant was very busy - even on a Sunday evening. The selection on the menu is good and classic Italian. The portions were good. The signature salad was ok, if a little bland. The children's pizza was good and came with the entrees. The service was ok and fast for the full store. We sat upstairs, although I found the lower area nicer. Unfortunately, some of it didn't smell very pleasant. Of course it has something to do with the old buildings, but it's just a little unpleasant.

Upstairs it is rather quiet and perfect for a cozy meal, downstairs it is not quite as quiet and perfect for families! There is a children's corner, so children can move around, play and don't have to sit quietly at the table! The service staff also had a lot of understanding for the children! The food for our child came very quickly, so he didn't have to wait long! There are children's portions and it has children's chairs. The food was also very tasty! We'd love to come back.

Excellent service and serves delicious food. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience, I liked that when she greeted us with our mother language😂 We ordered, bruschetta and fruit de Marie risotto seafood, and margarita pizza (is a must) ,Gamberoni spaghetti. All were excellent, one thing to note is that the seating arrangement is quite close together, which may a sense of personal space. Despite this, the overall quality of the service and the mouthwatering flavors of the dishes worth it !!

Congratulations! Despite the full restaurant, we (group of 11 people) experienced super friendly, competent and “upbeat” (cheerful) service. That's what I call a top-class service experience from the young service employees. Bravo. The food was also very good and the atmosphere (like all Bindella restaurants) was very cozy. The perfect location for a team dinner.

Yoyo was absolutely amazing! Your warm manner and appropriate sense of humor made our stay something special. It is clearly noticeable that it is important to her that the guests feel completely comfortable despite the potentially stressful background situation.

It is not recommended to order these open vegetables. No salt, no spices, no taste, too much water and, above all, hard! Cooked without fat, without sauce, saved money with the pesto and charged full price for it even though the boss knew it wasn't ok. Rarely have I eaten something so bad. It's a shame. Unfortunately it was the last time I was there.

The waiter (between 30 and 40 years old) was extremely unfriendly and expected more tips from us. Afterwards he simply threw our tip on the table and looked at us quite condescendingly. That doesn't work at all! When he left the restaurant he didn't even say goodbye to us and was disgusted by us. However, the food was good but the service sucks.

I think the gluten-free penne is very good. At Paradeplatz, the advice from the service is great, they know exactly where there is gluten, for example in the sauces. Ordered carbonara, it was tasteless, the spaghetti were dry hard to put into words, and the dish was not creamy at all, more watery. I always take Carbonara in italian restaurants and this was one of the worst soo far. Left half of it... Also, staff refuses to provide tap water.

There were four of us eating. All 4 pizzas were at room temperature at most. Unfortunately, no one asked whether the food tasted good. In general we only saw the service when ordering and paying. Mixed salad for starter was also very disappointing, didn't have much to do with a mixed salad. Unfortunately very disappointing, especially because we were thrilled on our first visit. Santa lucia is our favorite place to eat at in zurich, lunch or dinner. The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming, they help you with everything and anything you need. The food is delicious, from the starters ( the soup, salad and bruschetta) the main course, all of the pastas are delicious, and the pizzas and my favorite is the lasagna, so tasty and mouthwatering. And the best for last, the authentic Italian ice cream, rich and creamy delicious ice cream , our favorite is the chocolate and pistachio. Santa Lucia will always be our top restaurant to go to when in zurich, would highly recommend it!

Good Italian restaurant. Mid week evening was busy but we had no problem reserving table for 10 work colleagues. Service was effective but impersonal. No time wasted on chitchat or recommendation. Food arrived after some delay. Unfortunately one main dish was completely missed making all of us waiting as we felt sorry for the poor guy. The pasta, pizza, steaks.. all were good. Everyone seem to like their food of choice. With beers + wine + coffee @40 CHF per head it was a fair evening.

We got one of the last 4 spots on November 11th, 2023 at around 12:15 p.m. The restaurant was very busy. All employees always had an overview, the organization was great. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. Before we could even order, bread was served. A great idea. Our pizzas were very good, the toppings were more than we had ever seen. My husband's rigatoni was also very good. The next time we visit Zurich, we will reserve in advance so that we are sure to get a place. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

Two weeks ago my sister and I visited the Santa Lucia in Zurich to give my sister a nice insight into Zurich. Luckily we ended up at Santa Lucia, a place with exceptional service. The boss, Giuseppe, turned out to be the greatest asset to our experience. His friendliness, willingness to help and his sense of humor made the evening very special. Giuseppe treated us extremely courteously and ensured that we were always served promptly. In addition, he spoke perfect Portuguese, which was particularly useful for my sister, who doesn't understand German. Giuseppe went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The food at Santa Lucia was equally impressive and completed our experience perfectly. The pizza and pasta were delicious and we loved it. These culinary delights will certainly remain in our memories for a long time. The entire team and clients showed us warm hospitality and made a significant contribution to making our visit to Santa Lucia an unforgettable experience. I had the pleasure of dining at Santa Lucia in September, a cozy restaurant that specializes in italian dishes. I ordered the spaghetti seafood, which was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever tasted. The spaghetti was cooked al dente, and the sauce was flavorful. Outside seating was cozy with padded chairs and blankets available. Service was nice and attentive. We enjoyed a salad, pizza, and a pasta dish for lunch. The food was delicious and prices were reasonable. Large portions too. Nice selection of wines to choose from all at reasonable prices.

Tried this spot on a whimp and fell in love. Went here four nights out of a week of being here. Staff was always friendly, attentive and professional. I would highly recommend reservations if eating after 5pm. Would easily come back for more.

Friendly service, I highly recommend you go there if you need a good mood

The three of us were there for dinner a week ago. The place had a nice atmosphere, but was packed and the service was hectic. We ordered one Piccata Milanese (it was good so far), one pizza (we had to return it because there wasn't enough filling), one nut salad with egg (CHF 18.--!!!, carelessly served and also a very small portion, very little egg and almost no dressing) and once spaghetti carbonara, which didn't taste good at all >too strong egg taste). Service was nice, but linguistically overwhelmed. Chef de Service, on the other hand, was very nice and took complaints professionally. We have been here a few times and are satisfied, but now we have to realize that the quality of the cuisine has deteriorated significantly. And CHF 18.-- for such a nut salad is an absolute impudence and completely unacceptable. I don't think I'll eat here again.

The paella is delicious. The rice grains are filled with soup and are paired with tomatoes. The sweet and sour seafood tastes delicious.

The food, the wine and the atmosphere everything was amazing.
