If I could give 6 stars, I would. Great spot to stop after skiing all day.

I recommend you guys to come here. I love this place. The white wine, Cave Rhodan weiß wine, is the best. The service staff are very nice.

Avocado Bar is the place to be! We were playing here and had a legendary night. Super friendly staff, creative and tasty panini & more on the food menu and a large variety of drinks and craft beer on tab. And the live music that night? That we leave up to the cheering & singing audience to judge 😉

Best place for after ski or afternoon hang. Has been a favourite for years!

A lot of restaurants were closing so we decided to pop in here to have a drink and figure out what to do for dinner. We ended up staying for hours and had the best time! It was a little chilly (it was October), so we didn’t spend much time outside, but they did have tables and games outside. We had the best panini sandwiches (Miss Piggy and the Salami Slap), SEVERAL beers, mixed drinks, shots, and had the best company of their bartenders. The music was stellar and atmosphere was so comfortable and fun. Highly recommend for a good time!!!

Quiet patio in the back to enjoy a lovely glass of wine. The vegetarian panini was the best! Waiter very friendly. So glad to have found this gem.

We stopped in quick to grab a few sandwiches, and they were amazing and exactly what we were wanting! The environment is very laid back, service was great, and the view out the back was amazing! Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, including ourselves, I’d highly recommend stopping in!

We enjoyed dropping in here for a few beers before dinner, the ‘Cow Beer’(my nickname) pale ale being our favourite. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and the best view we’ve had from a beer garden. Cheers!

This is probably the only place to get late night food besides pizza -- and the paninis are so so so good! Drinks are also much cheaper than at the hotel restaurants and bars.

Great value for money!! Super delicious freshly brewed tea for 6 Fr., with the wine glass there was a large water glass with ice and lemon, service was very friendly, atmosphere on the terrace was nice in the evening...

You can sit in the backyard of one of the friendliest bars in the Grindelwald area. Prices are normal by Swiss standards

Nice tent. There is a relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful view of the mountains. Only Swiss beer on tap. We got the Weizen and it tasted very good! The meat platter is also highly recommended. With 'sausage' don't expect a thick sausage but 2 thin ones that are very tasty. Pairs well with baguettes with herb butter.

Awesome place to eat with great views of the mountains. Shout out to the Aussie owner as he was really helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend this place.

Went for a drink and a snack and they did not disappoint. The house iced tea was perfect. The vegetarian almond dip dish was almost shockingly delicious.

The location of this place is fantastic and the bartender was very sweet and warm. She guided us to buying the right beers. We tried only 1 Vegetarian item on the menu. The music and the vibe was very good and the outdoor patio overlooking the mountains made us fall in love with this place.

Clearly the coolest hangout in #GTown, staff are great and the Boss Man Alex is a wonderfully rare and amazing character. Definitely a place to recommend, Super cosy with plenty of chill out spaces and great open fires in the evening, I'll be back! Now with the uplifting of the Coronavirus regulations, all the more reason to drop by for a visit. Cosy comfortable outside areas, under roof, speakeasy atmosphere with many cosy corners, both inside and outside. Best local bar in grindelwald! Get some local beer or a cocktail at the bar, and definitely order one of the paninis, they are the best meal I had in town! There's live music Thursday night, which packed the house even in off season. Best of all, the owner, Alex, and Michelle made me feel very welcome, two nights in a row! Thanks for the great hospitality!

After a day on the slopes, or in the mountain bars, this was a brilliant place to end up. Our first step in, we were welcomed by friendly staff and only a few tables occupied. By 8pm the place was packed and the vibes were flowing!! Good price on the beer, so Brits get in there! I I didn’t have any food, but it looked reasonable for the price, also the Aussie behind the bar, helped me with my dead phone!! 😬 Would I go back… Yes! Even if I hadn’t been on the slopes! 😁

This bar has such a fun atmosphere. The beer is really good and the view from the back in unreal. We stopped here later in the afternoon just to have a few beers, but it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Grindelwald.

As the name says, this is indeed a bar, so food options are limited. They have some paninis which are really tasty. The view from the terrace is amazing.

Very few real standalone bars in Grindelwald. So thrilled to come across Avocado Bar! Chill and relaxed, opposite of some of the more stuffy hotel bars in town. Younger crowd but so what, I'm sure it's really fun during ski season. Nice selection of beers. We'll be back when we're in town!

Delicious food, had a great vegetarian panini. And amazing view

This place is super fun. From the front it looks like any dive bar. But walk through the entrance and pop out the back and it is heaven. Majestic views of the Eiger, multi level deck and lawn complete with table tennis. There is simple food like pannini's and cheese plates, if you are hungry and music a couple times a week. Definitely a great place to chill out after a hike or ski.

Great place and location to have a nice evening with the Eiger-North-Face View. They have a Open-Air Deck & a Garden Deck. And a Table Tennis. They serve a crazy Panini Sandwich. And have a good selection of drinks. And it's inexpensive for Grindelwald! Must Visit!!

Recently stopped here right as it opened and sat outside. They have a huge and very cool backyard with views of the mountains- great place to hang out. Drinks were great, service was good and friendly. Would definitely recommend as a place to hang out and grab some drinks.

Very nice pub with friendly service. Cozy, somewhat youth cafe-like, with ping-pong table and darts. Lots of nice places to sit, inside or outside, on the terrace or in the garden, all with beautiful views of the mountains. Clean toilet with soap and paper towels. Worth a stop after a game of mini golf next door 🙂.

Loved their Veggie Head and Must try Miss Piggy...with Swiss Rugen Brau..Amazing view of the mountains and there is Garden downstairs. You can also play table tennis here for free. The staff friendly..loved it..Highly Recommended
