Really good choice to try this restaurant. It was my birthday and we wanted to have a special dinner. This was just perfect. The food was really good and tasty. The service was impossible to be better. You can have a really wonderful viewing of the mountains from the table. Thank you really much for your time and the experience☺️ 100%recommended!

Had the fondue dinner and it was the best. My wife and I had fondue at Belvedere in Grindelwald, in Zurich and in Lucerne. None were as good as Belvedere. The depths of the flavor of the cheese, the bread, the potatoes were amazing. On top of delicious food, the gentleman that prepared and served us was great. Explained everything in depth, gave wonderful suggestions and overall made the experience even better.

We arrived at the restaurant and were warmly welcomed. The food was absolutely fabulous and delicious and the service was really great! We went only to eat on our last day in Grindelwald. Since it was dark outside we couldn’t very easily find our way to the hotel and the restaurant, everything looked quite old and not so welcoming at first. Our first impression wasn’t nice but then the food was quite pleasantly fresh and tasty! The goat cheese salad was my favourite, the main courses were ok, but nothing special. The prices are quite normal for Grindelwald as well.

We popped in without a reservation and were pleased to grab a table with lovely views overlooking the valley. We enjoyed the meat fondue with a well-recommended bottle of wine - price is what you would expect in Switzerland but service was top class and we felt exceeded the price point. The staff were seamless and attentive throughout and despite it being classy, we felt relaxed and welcomed throughout. Food was great - and whilst meat fondue is very much a DIY experience, we added on a dessert to experience the chef's own work and I can only give it my full compliments. Highly recommend taking a step away from the main high street to find this hotel restaurant tucked away.

The restaurant and terrace of Hotel Belvedere face the Eiger and Jungfrau area so wonderful views and a great place to stay. Many walking trails if you don't ski. Food and wellness facilities at the hotel are first class. So much so many visitors return every year as we have. Journey from Geneva is by train so another great travel experience.

We are a couple who loves to travel and eat good food. The only disappointment here was we were seated in a separate room from the main dining area with 2 families with crying babies and loud kids. One child kicked a chair (thumping loudly) for most of an hour. There was plenty of room in the other areas of the restaurant and other couples were seated in the nicer area with no problems. It would be nice if we could’ve eaten in the quieter area. The piano player was amazing and it was fun to play “name that tune” in my head. The view and the kindness of the waitstaff compensated for the super loud families with crying children. Anabela and Rene were prompt and helpful and explained things well to us. The bartender, Johnathan was super nice and made the wait go by so quickly for we arrived early drenched from rain. You have an amazing employee in Johnathan. Sonja also made a point to check in on us throughout the meal. The food was great and well worth the price and the only reason we may not be back is because the seating was not OK for us. ❤️
