Sweet little Thai restaurant in the old town of Sursee :) The Massaman Curry is recommended. Not too spicy, nice and creamy and with a slightly sweet note. The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating. Got extra rice without asking. Really great Thai restaurant :)

The opening in Willisau was a success. Was super tasty. Updates 9/4/23: Unfortunately the quality of the food is declining, especially when it comes to take away, which is a shame...

The food was very bad! Full of anticipation. After the good reviews, we booked a table for Sunday evening. My wife ordered chicken and I ordered duck. Both poultry were not fresh (one had the feeling that they had been warmed up several times, even prepared the day before), but of lower quality. In addition, both meals were too salty. Normally I would have had to return the food - a shame... and that cost 29 Fr. per meal...

It was the most expensive and miserable Thai meal of my life. Dry the meat and salt the sauce. It tasted like it had been warmed up many times. I felt cheated after eating. Never again!

Today we went to the Baan Thai Restaurant in Sursee, which we were very impressed with. The red curry in particular was extremely tasty. Just the right spiciness and something different with lychee. Service very friendly. Top Thai restaurant.

The food was very good and the service was friendly, but unfortunately the food repeatedly arrived at the table only lukewarm and not hot, and there were no rechauds, hence only 4 out of 5 stars.

The buffet is too small for a full restaurant. I was there at 11.45 and the food was cold. The noodles cold and sticky. The soup was only lukewarm. The plates were not warmed. There was a knock at the cash register and the woman walked around the room with chairs. Only two people for at least 100 guests. No reference for Hotel Focus. Definitely won't go there again.

I would have liked the vegetables in the main course to be al dente. The papaya salad was delicious, although I have never eaten raw beans like that before, no matter where they come from, and I won't again. People with sensitive stomachs may want to avoid it. And yes, I know Thai food. We also know price/performance differently. The chicken meat also didn't have the same flavor (probably frozen) as you would expect from fresh chicken. The service was super nice, but unfortunately the information about the salad came too late. It was a unique visit for us.

I went to take away again today, unfortunately the vegetables weren't cooked through so they were still hard, the rice was very mushy and the fried noodles weren't fried noodles for me, it's a shame the kitchen has slacked off.

One of the better Thai restaurants, the duck with honey sauce is a culinary delight. The Pat Thai is also very tasty and I can recommend it. There is still some potential for improvement in the fried noodles, in terms of taste. But still edible!

Es musste wohl so sein, dass alle anderen Lockale besetzt waren. So landeten wir hier. Preis / Leistung stimmen. Das Personal war freundlich, ist mir sehr wichtig!

La meilleure cuisine thaïlandaise à Sursee. J'y suis allé plusieurs fois, la nourriture est excellente, l'endroit avait une belle terrasse. La cuisine a bon goût de faire de la nourriture. Le service est super très gentil et les gens. Mais faire une réservation.

Grundsätzlich feines Essen aber das Pouletfleisch stammt nach eigener Nachfrage aus dem Ausland. Sicherlich wird das billigste Poulet aus Brasilien und Ungarn gekauft da auf den Preis geschaut wird. Finde ich absolut unkorrekt, besser CH-Fleisch verwenden und etwas mehr verlangen, ich denke der Konsument bezahlt diesen Mehrwert. Aus ethischen und gesundheitlichen Gründen esse ich kein solches Pouletfleisch das mit Hormonen und Antibiotika produziert wurde. Sehr nettes und engagiertes Personal.

Das Baan Thai Unterstadt ist gemütlich im Ambiente. Wir kamen zu Viert. Die Bedienung hat uns freundlich empfangen. Das Essen hat uns allen sehr geschmeckt und mich an meine Thailandreise vor 2 Jahren erinnert. Preis - Leistung war superIch werde sicher wieder kommen und andere Gerichte ausprobieren. Ich freue mich schon darauf!

Wir haben auf der Speisekarte etwas vegetarisches gesucht. Da schnauzte uns die Bedienung an, es gibt kein einziges Gericht ohne Fischsauce und ohne Sardinen/Shrimps. Alle Curry s seinen mit einer fertig Paste aus Thailand welche in jedem Curry gebraucht wird. Diese beinhalteten alle Fischsauce und Sardinen/Shrimpspaste. Auch die anderen Gerichtes sind immer alle mit tierischen Bestandteilen. Wir verwiesen auf die eigene Kennzeichnung mit dem „V“ welches in der Speiskarte als vegetarisch ausgewiesen wird. Die Bedienung meinte, sie seie ehrlich... obwohl sie das nicht dürfte und uns anlügen müsste - so wie auf der Karte.Wir finden es eine absolute Frechheit, gerade deshalb weil wir schon mehrere Male dort gegessen haben. Es wurde uns jedesmal versichert, dass die Menüs ohne tierische Produkte sind. Wir werden den Vorfall der Lebensmittelbehörde melden.

Wir wurden sofort zuvorkommend bedient und das zudem sehr freundlich und schnell. All you can eat ist am Wochenende anscheinend das Motto zum Mittagessen und es gab reichlich Essen. Dabei wurde jede Geschmacksrichtung bedient: Fisch/Fleisch/Gemüse/Reis/suess/scharf - was will man mehr!Die Preise inklusive Getränke sind unglaublich günstig und man kommt sich dabei trotzdem wie ein/e König/in vor. Herzlichen Dank! Wir kommen gerne wieder :0))

Ich war zuvor nochnie im Baan Thai Restaurant essen. Es war grandios! Wir wurden nett bedient und das essen unglaublich gut. Schöne Einrichtung und sehr gemütliches Ambiente. Ich werde wieder dorthin essen gehen!

Preis/Leistung stimmt. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Essen kam eigentlich sehr schnell. Leider war es nicht heiss, sondern gerade so warm. Sonst top, komme gerne wieder!

Crevetten mit Austernsauce und Gemüse bestellt. Was wir bekamen, war eine Mischung aus süss-sauer trash und dem eigenlich eher salzigen Gericht. Ungeniessbar. Etwas wie Anchovis mit Vanilleis. Bitte schreibt doch alle Zutaten, die verwendet werden sauber auf, danke.

Sitzen hier im Restaurant seit 2 Stunden und warten immer noch auf den Hauptgang. Die Küche ist eindeutig überfordert. So laufen die Gäste weg!

Je n'ai rien à redire sur la nourriture ou le service. Un excellent repas et dans l’ensemble une belle expérience dans un bel environnement. Les prix sont raisonnables pour la région.

The food was very good. The black pepper beef wasn’t as tender as I’d hoped but I’m just picky. The place has nice decor and interior. The owner and the girl taking our order was also very nice. They were very friendly, unlike some other thai resto. Would love to come back here again

Lange, sehr sehr lange Wartezeit bis zu 2 Stunden aber top Preis-/Leistungverhältnis. Seit neues Konzept/Karte angeboten wird und zweite Filiale am Bahnhof eröffnet wurde muss mit langen Wartezeiten (Vor-/Hauptspeise) gerechnet werden, vorallem Samstags. Das Buffet gleich beim Eingang wird sehr gut von "take-away" Passanten und Gästen innerhalb des Restaurants genutzt. Die Küche muss dauern nachliefern auf Kosten der Restaurant Besucher. Dadurch warten die Gäste, welche à-la-carte bestellen bis zu 2 Stunden auf Ihr Essen. Das ist ein "no go" und die Betreiber müssen über die Bücher. Qualität des Essens top aber leider nur lauwarm serviert. Die Preise sind sehr vernünftig. Lokalität zZu empfehlen aber es muss etwas geändert werden!

super mittagsverpflegung die schalen im takeaway reichen auch für einen handwerker und sind mit 12.50 auch günstig. für mich dürfte das curry gerne noch etwas schärfer sein.

Will never set my feet in this place again, never in my whole life wisited a amateure restaurant like this thing!! The food was good but EVERYTHING stopped there! Ordered a beer before dinner, tok 20min before we got it. When we after a while got the food we ordered another beer, this we never drank because we noticed that they poored an old beer in a new glas before they took it to the table! We asked to pay, while i am sitting here writing this we are still waiting to pay, in the 25 minute! Silly!

Naja... ein Buffet ist ein Buffet ist ein Buffet.Es ist günstig, gut aber irgendwie alles so gleich und langweilig. Hauptsache man ist hungrig, satt wird man auf jeden Fall. Ersatzkleider mitnehmen, der Duft bleibt hängen

Für Takeaway gibt es ein kleines Buffet, total ok für CHF 12.-! Ansonsten nehme ich immer das Pad Thai und es ist immer super lecker! Sehr nette Bedienung in beiden Lokalitäten, immer wieder gerne!

Wir waren vor dem Comedyabend hier fürs Nachtessen. Reservation von Vorteil, da es immer viele Gäste hat. Vorspeisen sind lecker. Gerichte sind gekennzeichnet wenn wirklich scharf gekocht wird. Freundliches Personal

Der Papayasalat zur Vorspeise und das Pad Thai als Hauptgang war unglaublich gut, wie in Thailand. Man merkt, dass die Besitzer sich sehr viel Mühe geben authentisch zu kochen. Auch die Bedienung war äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jederzeit wieder!!

Sehr freundlich, schneller servicefür mich haben sie extra VEGAN Menüs angepasst und mir versichert, dass zb auch das frittierte tofu in frischem pflanzlichen oel frittiert wurde. Das Ambiente ist romantisch, sympathisch, und sehr preiswert.

Super leckeres und authentisches Essen. Ich hatte das Lab Isaan. Es schmeckte hervorragend und die Schärfe war genau nach meinem Geschmack. Auch der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kann das Restaurant wärmstens weiter empfehlen.
