Quiet place to study or work and the staff is super nice.

Coffee ok, although .30.- extra for oat milk. Unfortunately, I don't think the bread quality is as outstanding as it once was. Unfortunately no service in the cafe. Unfortunately, the bakeries hardly stand out from each other anymore and it seems a bit like a check-in to me.

Actually a nice café, but unfortunately the staff is unmotivated, very slow and not friendly. Certainly never again.

Always good for a coffee with pastries

Unfortunately, the blonde saleswoman has no idea what the difference is between the 300 gram braid and the somewhat unusually shaped 500 gram braid. She makes a noise and you have to hear every word coming out of her mouth. By chance, a baker came out of the back room and was able to explain it to me in detail and competently. Thanks! The plait tastes buttery and is somewhat crispy considering the high humidity. It tastes better to me than the one from my regular bakery, which unfortunately has gone downhill since it has a new bakery.

07/31/23 7:30 a.m. Bought a latte macchiatto and a turkey roll, the coffee is good, the roll was so covered in tartar sauce that it dripped everywhere after the first bite. The good saleswoman was very committed, even with the rush she had to do it alone, respect.

Good big breakfast, unfortunately an additional egg costs 2.70. I buy my eggs from the farm, quality is very good, 50 centimes. Please be price sensitive, I don't want to feel left out. The second coffee should be cheaper, I know coffee is the cash cow. It's better to sell two coffees than none, then you'll get 5 stars. I'm looking forward to the Aarau opening.

Today I was served very nicely and friendly by a young lady (I think her name was Lakshana) I would love to come back :)

I was at the Hug bakery in Schaffhauserplatz on Tuesday June 6th, 2023 around 8:40 a.m. I bought a spelled bread and specifically asked whether it had chia or poppy seeds because I react extremely allergically to it and cause choking. The employee on site checked the screen to see whether it contained chia or poppy seeds. She gave me NO as an answer. So I took it and when I wanted to eat it I saw poppy seeds in it. That's not possible, if I had bitten into it I would have ended up in the hospital. I'll never go shopping there again, the first and last time!!! I wouldn't even give them 1 star. Great rhubarb and strawberry müesli. Well tasting coffee. Clean everywhere. Fast wlan.

I'm glad the branch opened on Schaffhauserplatz. After the bitter loss of the Gnädigner bakery, which could in no way be replaced by the new owner, I found a bread here that I like: the old Fritz! Thanks

Coffee facility, comfortable atmosphere. Unfortunately the selection at the counter is still a bit puny. It would be nice if there was more choice in the future.

I was at the bakery earlier and wanted to take a pizza and asked her whether it was with pork or without and she told me without pork and I then found cubes of bacon or cubes of ham and took humus rolls for 10.20fr I think That's too expensive and it didn't taste good at all so I don't recommend it to people, thank you so 1 star

Finally a great bakery on Schaffhauserplatz again after the Gnädinger had to close.

Fine bakery The renovated building has it all. A very large selection of different rolls and other delicacies. There is even a cafe in the restaurant around the corner and you can sit there and enjoy your snack
