Best meal I had in a while in Zurich. Definitely coming back , the fish with the jollof rice and plantains is a most!

It might be authentic, I can't judge that. Our group was a bunch of (curious) white & asian people without a clue of West-African food, and out of the 6 mains that we ordered, only 2 were edible for our taste. We are glad we tried it, but we wont come again

Very, very tasty food! I would recommend it to anyone looking for good West African food. Just be prepared to wait! This wasn't a problem for us because we didn't have any stress, so we still gave it 4 stars for the service.

If you want West African food in Zurich this place is the best. Delicious stews and tender meats combined with a proper level of spice which perfectly complements the food and which packs a punch. Truly authentic place, the food is really prepared by chefs who know their stuff and the welcome is always friendly. Also good selection of African beers (Star, Gulder, etc) and different other drinks which really hit the spot.

The FUFU with the okra soup is absolutely delicious, the food I have always seen so far looked absolutely good. The only thing that could be improved is the timing. Unfortunately I had to wait an hour today. But that happens to everyone sometimes. I hope it doesn't happen again but the food tasted very, very good. I will come more often! Because of the waiting times -1 star.

Amazing food reminds me of home

Walked in to no greating. Had to squeeze my way to figure out where our seat reservation was. Ordered three appetizers. However we only received one appetizer after 1:45 hours later then the second 2 hours later then our food 2.15 hours later. They forgot the other. We didn’t have our drinks refilled for over an hour. And then when the food came I couldn’t eat it. The meat was TOUGH. All we had was meat and rice so I’m No too sure what took over two hours but at the very least I’d expect the food to be good but it was not! I even got sick after I’m Not sure if that was the food but it’s all we had that day. Spent over a 100chf for the worst and last dinner of our trip!

Authentic family run Nigerian restaurant, food is so tasty, it is a direct trip to Nigeria. The owner Miky is the best, always a good smile and great service. Dishes are served non-spicy for those who ask for it - but I love mine very spicy :) I highly recommend this place!

Don’t go there!! It’s really bad!! Questionable meat. It tasted weird and smelled weird. And looked like meat rests thrown together. And definitely cheap. Probably not even meat but innards. The “stew” for a whopping 30 bucks comes in a small bowl. Definitely a proud price. We were 4 people. We didn’t like it. Aside from the fact that all 4 of us don’t feel too good afterwards. Not sick but not good either. And the service and subsequently kitchen were extremely slow. 30 minute for a portion of samosas. Put that together and pay 190. For a location with bright lights, freezing cold inside and a waiter that rather sits down with friends drinking wine than catering to the guests. Definitely can’t recommend. Don’t waste your time or money.

I was truly impressed about the food, it tasted like mama’s home cooking. Very good portions and with good music. I had fun the owner was very informative and helpful, to inform us of other activities. There is a bit of wait time but nothing extra for African fresh dishes Overall amazing experience, and a must visit.rich flavours for all .

I came here with two friends of mine. We really enjoyed the food: we all had a different dish, tried from each other and it was all superb! Tasteful, authentic and just really good. The only thing that wasn't great, which is the reason for my rating, is that the service took extremely long to bring us our food and to be available for us to let them know we wanted to pay. There were other tables that came quite a bit later than us that were served and taken care of much quicker.

Experience very mixed. The food was sometimes good to very good (fish) or not so tasty (FuFu). Service a bit unmotivated. The price is already high, even for Zurich. Unfortunately, no recommendation from me.

The worst African food I have ever eaten

The food not bad, the service very very very average!! Not to say bad! I was served a fufu that I didn't ask for, I reported it, and the waitress instead of bringing me what I ordered she apologized 😅 so yes it's good to apologize, there's no problem... but then bring me back what I ordered... and then she makes a face like she's not happy that I'm sending the dish back..,🤦. In the end he charged me for the fufu which I didn't order! In short, disaster!! A customer sitting next to us had the same scenario 😂😂😂

Beautiful restaurant specialising in the food of Nigeria. The ambience was wonderful, I had a table at short notice on Friday (I went early) and everything was simply delicious. If you have not had the palm wine, please try it. And, of course, moimoi is a must. Prices are quite reasonable by Zurich standards.

I came here with friends from Nigeria and Ghana around 8:00pm on a weekday, and we were 6 people. Since we arrived pretty late, it took about an hour to get our food (5 different dishes). Our friends did not allow us to take safe dishes like jollof rice with meat, so we had to all order different dishes 😅 Service is not the fastest, but very nice and kind. The women’s washroom did not have any soap, but there was disinfectant. If you are sitting at the table across from the washroom, it is a bit annoying as the women’s washroom door opens up if not shut entirely letting you stare at a toilet whilst you eat. All in all, very good food with enough spiciness (or you can add more). I would cone here again and try other dishes.

419 Food, size is for children. Okra soup had littery no taste, ponded jam very sticky. If you like real nigerian food it's definitely the wrong adress to enjoy good food. Staff isch friendly and nice.

I have to say that the staff is friendly. Unfortunately we had to wait 2 hours and the food wasn't good either. If I wait 2 hours for a meal, the food must be very good. Service was good, friendly and pleasant. Food service was very slow, it took 2 hours to get our main courses. The pressure of Friday night service reflected on the quality of food. The Egusi was watery and tasted bland, the plantains were very soggy, and dripping in oil, not crispy as I have usually had them at the restaurant. Maybe it was an off day but on this occasion I was not very impressed at all. I will give the restaurant another try and I hope the quality is significantly improved!

Unfortunately the restaurant is way too overpriced. The food is very good, but we waited 2 hours for our food on Friday evening. Very good Nigerian food! The spicy fish soup was really spicy and delicious. The beef dish was the least exotic yet tasty. The third dish was a meat stew with okra (delicious and original) with a side of cassava (which had almost no taste). I also tried what was called Palm wine on the menu. It's more like a beer made of palm flesh (4.5% alc). I liked the smooth, slightly sweet taste, but not the sour smell. Well, now I know. :) The service was great and the atmosphere very cozy. Prices are about 30 CHF per dish, which is OK for Zurich.
