Very good food and good service.

I could enjoy one or two sensational coups. Thank you for that. I was a bit shocked when the very friendly service person told me that changing an ice cream ball from banana to vanilla costs CHF 2. Converted to a price increase of approx. 20% Personally, I think that's excessive. Best regards

Poorly organized staffing, everything very hectic and slow. There were four of us there to eat a coupe. 10 minutes after taking the order, the service employee came to us to tell us that there was no longer enough ice cream for a second coupe. I had ordered a coupe with pistache. This pistache was a weird color and didn't taste like pistache either. I then shared my suggestion with the service employee. She told me: I can't tell you that, I don't like pistache! She then went to the boss and told her about it. We could see from the table how the boss simply shrugged her shoulders. That was all! She didn't even think it was necessary to come to the table to find out exactly what was going on. When we wanted to pay, we waited a good 20 minutes because they probably had a major problem with the checkout. When I was paying, the service employee casually told me: the boss tried the ice cream! (Whatever that means)! It's a shame that you could only eat two of these three scoops of ice cream, but you had to pay for three! It's just a shame... but as a guest I can choose the café or restaurant myself, but you have to take the guests who come! My conclusion: I was there exactly three times... the first, only and last time.

The service leaves a lot to be desired but the food is great

Staff overwhelmed, unfriendly and half-stroppy answers. Waiting times are too long and you always have to ask if something is missing. VERY Pity...

Ordered a 2kg braid with the wish, if possible, in the shape of a 9. We received a very fine and beautifully shaped braid. Simply great, thank you very much 🙏🏼

Fine breakfast with a large selection, beautiful sun terrace. Service staff (H.) was very unfriendly, we didn't receive everything from the breakfast package despite asking several times. H. answered briskly and annoyed, as if we had asked for something impossible.

Sober but functional restaurant with a small menu (in addition to the confectionery counter). The food is perfectly fine, although nothing exceptional. The price of the lunch menu is very fair.

I was recently in a café that unexpectedly charged 2 francs for a simple glass of tap water. I found this pricing unreasonable and customer-unfriendly, especially considering that tap water is usually offered for free or at least very cheaply. Other than that, the ambience of the cafe was average and didn't offer anything special to justify the high prices. The staff was polite, but that alone doesn't make up for the overpriced prices. Overall, I was disappointed with my visit and feel that the price-performance ratio in this cafe is not right. I will avoid it in the future and cannot recommend it!

Last Friday afternoon we were guests - we thought. As usual, the ice cream and drinks were top notch. The waitress (H.), on the other hand, kept sending out signals that gave us the impression that we were actually just disturbing and annoying: She rolled her eyes, had a brash tone, groaned with eye rolls when we confirmed that we wanted to pay by card, etc. If we could get the same offer at another place on the Lenk, we would probably no longer go to Kuhnen.

Fine boiled meat salad eaten with various side salads! Great, you can have Lenker spring water at a reasonable price (Fr 2.-)!

Many thanks to the Kuhnen bakery team for our wonderful weekend stay in the cozy Wildstrubel holiday apartment. The apartment is small but nice and was very clean. Only the mattresses in the upper room under the roof took some getting used to. The kitchen fully furnished. The view of the Wildstrubel is fantastic. The morning meal at Cafe Kuhnen was also great. Thank you very much, we'll be back.

Beautiful sun terrace, a great, varied offering, friendly service, a visit is very worthwhile. And my insider tip for everyone who likes chocolate... the truffles are absolutely great!

Had to go for a factory-wrapped wandercake, because there were a lot of flies flying indoors and some of them were crawling on the unwrapped pastries. Please do something about this, it's disgusting and unhygienic. I visited on May 27th 2023

The prices are adapted to tourism, but good craftsmanship is still carried out there. Great store

Beautiful place with exquisite things to eat. The location is easy to find, just turn at the roundabout and follow the road. They have parking for customers too which is super convenient. The prices are affordable for what Switzerland is and the price-quality ratio is very good. Very well set and decorated, everything super clean and organized, nice ambient music. I recommend it.

Food and dessert are very tasty. We were there several times during our holidays. With a few exceptions, the staff on the terrace were unfortunately not very friendly and not very attentive.

Very friendly staff and great tasting products! Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is not right for us. Sandwiches barely topped at a price of 5.- and the puff pastry in the cream slice was more than soggy, far from fresh and crispy - so not from today! Very sad!

Lots of fine things. In the morning it is popular to get croissants and rolls.

Friendly service. Many guests. Still, I didn't have to wait long. I just drank a coffee. I also have a handlebar bread. This always tastes very good to me. I was here again today around 6 p.m., just before finishing work. There were only a few guests here. I drank a coffee crème and a glass of mineral water. That cost 8.50 francs. Normal price for a summer resort. The service was quick and friendly. I can only recommend a visit to this coffee shop.
