We originally wanted to eat dessert, but unfortunately the service staff was so hostile to children that we only ordered something to drink. Never experienced anything like this before, and hopefully never again.

Hamburgers (45€) was fried and served within minutes of ordering. The bun was flat and the vegetables drowning in sauce. Fries were ok. The wine is overpriced with Valpolicella at 74€ a bottle. You can have a much better food experience at Lenkerhof for the same price.

Surely this Restaurant is willing to perform well. However our experience was not terrific. Never had such salty fries. Luckily we were offered new ones on request. The choice on the menu is very limited, but in general this is not a problem as usually the number of choices is directly related with quality. The spare ribs (suggested by the waiter) were surely one of the best I ever had, but our boys ordered a Burger which did not qualifiy as a burger, but more like a simple bun with beef-stew and some coleslaw. Mixed feelings...

We walked to this restaurant with family and in-laws after a walk in time for dinner. In our opinion, although not local, this staff was friendly. Food came surprisingly quickly and tasted excellent. I would even say that I have never eaten better spare ribs anywhere except in the USA.

No replacement or anything similar was offered. When my partner had finished eating and we asked for the bill, we were offered a coffee on the house, but the meal was charged in full. Only after insisting with the boss and being “instructed” by him was the invoice adjusted accordingly. This behavior disappointed us. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant.

Der Service hat das gesehen und mich danach gefragt , ich sagte ich komme hier sehr oft her oder bestelle die Pizza nach Hause und noch nie war Parmesan drauf das mag ich leider nicht. Sie war etwas im Stress und sagte sie komme gleich wieder. Dann verging viel Zeit und mein Freund sagte wir wollen zahlen. Wir bezahlten den VOLLEN Betrag.

Das Essen war super ! Alle (10 Pax) waren zufrieden. Geniales Cordon Bleu, wie immer. Gemütliches Gasthaus, nette und schnelle Bedienung, Preise voll OK. Immer gerne wieder. Der Services freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Zum erneuten mal unfreundliches bzw unmotiviertes Personal. Scheinbar kann man nur zu Gästen freundlich sein, die man kennt. Körpersprache sowie Art und Weise des Servicepersonal lässt zu wünschen übrig. Das Restaurant Elk kann von Glück reden, hatt es so eine schöne Terrasse sowie Standort. Essen sowie andere Produkte sind gut.
