Bäckerei-Konditorei Schneider in Basel

Since the takeover by Wacker and Schwob, the “charm” of this restaurant has unfortunately been pretty limited, and “for that” the prices have also been increased. So it's better to go straight to Schneider's main store on Clarastrasse!

The Capuccino has hier definitely the best haircut in town. What do I mean?... try it out and you'll see ;) If you are looking for a cosy tiny little place to drink your coffee especially now in the summer this is the place. Beautiful bread and tasty croissants. Be nice and you'll get the same in return.

Fine fresh bread, delicious sweet snacks, friendly service. Prices in the more expensive range but within reasonable limits. Recommended!

The quality and size of the croissants depend very much on the baker's condition on the day. One has the impression that the products from the previous day are often ignored.

Small and with an original, real ambience without any frills!

Got the worst sausage sausage in my entire life, smelly and “soft as a pudding”. The restaurant has the charm of an SBB bus shelter.

Probably the best sweeties from Basel. Highly recommended.
