Went there for the first time because I discovered my favorite menus on the menu and the rest. By chance. I'll be back. In my opinion, the rest is nicely and sympathetically furnished. Offers buffet lunch and otherwise a la carte.

Absolutely amazing!! I went for a take away and they have a great buffet, full of options (chicken, duck, spring rolls, noodles, rice, vegi, pork) with lots of sauces. Excellent quality, totally recommended. I finally found the best chinese restaurant in Basel! :)

This is a lovely little gem that we discovered by accident. The owners saw us standing outside an hr before they opened, so they invited us in and opened the kitchen. The owners couldn't speak English, but with a lot of laughter and pointing, we figured it out and ordered. The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was very good, which meant we had a really good meal and experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and will definitely return when next in Switzerland.

The take-away buffet has a rather smaller selection, but the food was good and the price was completely right.

Hello, Im sending my feedback to give chance to improve quality of your food. I ordered my food by delivery service. Food was warm, delivery guy sympathetic. But here are all the good finishes. Noodles were soo salty that I couldn't enjoy nothing more from the taste of the food. Almost no vegetable. But other side for meat lovers after weekend party not bad choice. For me never more, cheapest Mister Wong offer much more quality for less money. Its a a pity.

I don't understand the negative reviews here. I have been in China and this is the best Chinese Restaurant i know in Basel - really authentic kitchen compared to others ! I order regularly and their Chicken Fried Rice is the absolute bomb!!!

The delivery providers for this joke restaurant need to be held accountable for delivering food that is inedible. Our order was delivered BURNED, REHEATED from at least 24 hours previously and the order was wrong. I have never had food so bad delivered in my life.SHOCKING!!!

We rarely give low ratings but this was such a disappointing experience I feel like I need to share it. We ordered from this restaurant and what was delivered was burned, old (i.e. reheated) and terrible tasting food. It was clearly not fresh and even looked unappetizingly old. The beef was chewy and tasteless and the prawns tasted fishy and were covered in mushy dough. For over 60.- for two mains and a starter this is unacceptable! Please improve the quality and freshness of your dishes! (Nevermind that they got the order wrong too)

Absolutely DISGUSTING place. They are selling reheated BURNED food that is old and inedible. They should not have a license to sell food to the public.

We often come here and choose takeaway food from the buffet (CHF 12.-). The price is fair, the selection is usually plentiful and always fresh.

Poor quality of the food, especially the fried chicken. Soggy dough coating and pieces of meat that were way too small. In terms of taste, the whole thing was below average. Only the duck was okay. Way too expensive for what you get. Rice side dish had to be ordered and paid for separately. Disappointing

Very good, authentic food. Be careful with the dish “Satay”, it tastes wonderful but is hot as hell.

Basel is in serious need of a decent Asian restaurant. Despite good reviews I tried their take away tonight. Sharing starter dish attempted to offer several differed samosa, dumplings and spring rolls, for 2 people. It was all very deeply fried, brown and almost indistinguishable from one another. Simply awful greasy and amateurish. A supermarket spring roll would taste better. The main (popular) dish was chicken sweet and sour. Again all the meat was deep fried dry brown nuggets of dissatisfaction. Raw pepper and tinned pineapple pieces. No rice suggested and no rice came with the dish. A total waste of money

Unfortunately there is no rice on the menu (not mentioned on eat.ch) and the duck is far too spicy. This was also published on eat. Ch not mentioned. Unfortunately inedible for someone who can't eat too spicy. Very disappointing.

Just ordered duck chop suey and beef Sichuan - this was one of the worst ordering experiences considering the prices of the dishes. As for the duck, the dish was simply not good. The meat was too mushy and the rest didn't smell that good. As for the beef - well, the meat didn't look particularly fresh. We also expected that rice would be included in the orders, as no further information was provided. 25 francs for not good duck chop suey without rice is absolutely overpriced and a taste-wise, financial disappointment... Never ordering here again!

Horrible experience. I ordered fried chicken and they delivered duck. I ordered fresh rolls and they delivered spring rolls. I ordered not spicy and everything was super scharf. Horrible experience, bad taste, food dry. Absolutely do not recommend

Got the wrong food, but otherwise very tasty!

I ordered once. Unfortunately, communication was difficult. I also found the pork very strange. Unfortunately it looked a bit worn out. It didn't taste good either. Only the savings ribs convinced me. However, I think that the price/performance ratio is not right. I think it's too expensive for what you get. The quantities are also exaggerated. A whole key full of meat is too much of a good thing. For me, less is more. And in Basel there are companies that do it better. A pity

First impressions count, which is not good for this restaurant: in need of renovation, outdated and impersonal. Unfortunately, not full marks for this and for the hard-working but unfortunate service (yes, as a family business there are unprofessional young people in the service). Nothing wrong with the food, it must also work very well as a take-away/ordered option, as there was constant fluctuation during our visit. Sinchan beef was also pleasingly (very) spicy!

Ich mag hauptsächlich die Teigtaschen, die sie mittags am Büffet haben. Nur der frittierte Tofu war etwas merkwürkig. Hühnchen und Rindfleisch waren sehr lecker. Die Sauer-Scharf-Suppe war dieses Mal etwas zu scharf.

Great restaurant with Chinese specialties from a chef from Hong Kong. Lunch with a varied buffet. Also very attractive as a takeaway. Very inexpensive food.

Nach der letzten Erfahrung, bin ich nochmals zwei Mal dort gewesen, um mittags dort zu essen: für 16,50 CHF bekommt man ein schönes Angebot. Z. T. auch Sachen, die man schon lange in anderen China-Restaurants suchen muss, weil es etwas ist, das in die Kategorie Chinesisches Essen für Chinesen (z. B. geschmorte Haxe). Die Auswahl des kleinen Büffets beinhalte alles, was ich mir wünsche.

Small Chinese restaurant hidden away off a side street, but well worth checking out as they do great food in a nice friendly relaxed atmosphere. Got some beef noodles, standard stuff but it was oh so tasty, very nice. One of the better Chinese restaurants in the town.

Dann würde ich vermutlich dort nochmals hingehen. Die schärfste Sauce, mit der ich einen Freund loswerden könnte... Ich hatte dort meine „Referenz“-Suppe bestellt, die ich bei allen Chinesen bestelle: Wan-Tan-Suppe. Leider nur 2 Wan-Tan. Sehr viel Gemüse, auch sehr viel asiatisches Gemüse und vor allem eine tolle Brühe. Man merkte schon, dass die Wan-Tan hausgemacht waren und nicht so schmeckten, als ob sie aus der Tiefkühltruhe eines Asia-Supermarktes kommen. Da ich noch zwei Gerichte gesehen hatte, die man auch nicht überall bekommt und mir versichert wurde, dass sie auch hausgemacht seien, habe ich auf das günstige Mittagsbüffet (für 16,50 CHF mit sehr tollen Sachen für so ein kleines Lokal - sogar ENTE!!! - haben die meisten mittags gar nicht!) verzichtet. Die Teigtaschen Jiao Zhi wurden eben mit der scharfen Sauce serviert. Der Teig war hervorragend und auch das handwerkliche stimmte. Bei den anderen Shao Mai, die ich mir bestellt hatte und in Holzkörbchen serviert werden: diese waren für meine Begriffe zu groß. Man bekommt daher doppelt so viel, als bei anderen. Nun kommt leider auch das kleine Manko: alle drei Teigtaschen hatten die gleiche Fleisch-Krabben-Gemüse-Füllung. Auch wenn alles sehr lecker war: ich hätte mir hier mehr Abwechslung gewünscht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich.

Delivery was faster than advertised, food was hot, spring rolls were good. But unfortunately the chicken was with lemon, without any real lemon taste. With the sweet and sour chicken, the pineapples were already slightly fermenting (tasted slightly of alcohol). And the fried rice was a little more than fried, rather burnt. Ordered twice, the first and the last time. Price would have been appropriate if the food was edible.

Good Chinese cuisine, not the standard like in the all you can eat Chinese. Great taste.

Fantastisch! Grossartiges, wechselndes Mittagsbuffet mit guten, frischen Speisen! Auch abends à la carte. Mein neues Lieblingslokal für chinesisches Essen. Äusserst sauber, gepflegt, mit Liebe gekocht und von einer sehr liebenswerten chinesischen Familie betrieben. Absolute Empfehlung!

Ich hatte ein sehr gutes Mittagessen in diesem einfachen Familienbetrieb nahe Brausebad / Schützenmattpark. Es gibt Gerichte auf der Karte, die man bei dem typischen chinesischen Restaurant in der Schweiz nicht findet - auch als Take Away. Die Bedienung war extrem lieb und aufmerksam und Preis/Leistung hat gestimmt.

Wir haben in freundlicher Atmosphäre fein gegessen. Das Service-Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und bemüht, den Aufenthalt in ihrem Restaurant so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Individuelle Bedienung in einem Familienbetrieb.

Kleines aber feines Buffet von 11.30 bis 14.30 Uhr für nur CHF 14.50. Frisch zubereitet und ansprechend präsentiert. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung (Familienbetrieb). Das Lokal liegt etwas versteckt in einer Wohngegend in der Nähe des Schützenmattparks.
