Bäckerei Schwyter in St. Gallen

I was very disappointed with my visit to this bakery. The staff were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. Your lack of politeness made my stay very unpleasant. I definitely won't be back and can't recommend this bakery.

The ambience and the food are really okay, although the slice of meat cheese is a bit small for the price. What is the biggest negative point is the service. Unfortunately very rude and very quickly stressed. I will therefore avoid the restaurant from now on.

There at 10:30 a.m. sharp, everything is closed even though opening times are posted until 11:00 a.m. I can't understand, it was the last time we were there. A pity!!

Pleasant to sit outside on the terrace in summer. Super friendly staff: you often get a slice of bread for free (not a given in a bakery). Selection of the lunch menu is medium average.

The price is a bit expensive but overall everything fits. What annoys me, however, is the fact that the schnitzel rolls have far too little cocktail sauce. More cocktails please!

Small and nice 😊 Bread, rolls and sandwiches are always delicious - every now and then the selection is no longer as good/large but that shows that it's working 😊

Dear Schwyter team. As a long-time customer, I say goodbye to them (formerly Schwyter Unisg and now Schuppistrasse). Without being specific, but your store manager is just unfriendly (her snippy manner) and, in my opinion, damaging to her reputation. Furthermore: without going into further detail, for me the quality of the food bears no relation to the price. Pity.

Ordered fries and burger.. 15.50 fr.... The fries cost 7.50.. Pay attention to the picture and the portion size....that's just cheeky and a rip off...

The lunch menus are very fine and inexpensive. Very friendly staff. They're also available for a quick chat when there's not a big rush.

Enjoy your meal. The boss is very rude and very unfriendly. This in turn makes the food worse. Was here twice. The first and the last time. Not recommendable.

Solid bakery with coffee department. With a view of the bakery production room. Friendly staff. Very committed. Apparently well managed. Bus stop and car parking lot. Mask is worn correctly if the federal government requires this during the Corona period. Employees give a motivated impression. Shop, hallways, toilets Very clean. Children's play area. Easily accessible by car, public transport, bicycle, motorcycle. Parking spaces available. Also good connection to the branches. Courier service. Highly recommended. I'll go back.

Cool restaurant, large, fine selection for a relaxed lunch break

Unfortunately, the quality of the baked goods is no longer what it used to be. a lot of ready dough etc. SHAME! Well, if all dough is handmade with such great raw materials as Schwyter writes to me, then I think it's even worse when the baked goods are of such poor quality, like they come from a large bakery factory and taste exactly the same!

Nice selection of various sachem and fine bread.... highly recommended. The only thing that bothered me was... a little friendlier smile.... but otherwise everything was top notch

Definitely the insider tip in the industrial area. The food is very good and the quantity is also right. You can even make special requests and they will usually be fulfilled. I agree with what I said, you should be there before 12 p.m. Can only warmly recommend the bakery.

Best baked goods and friendly staff, you always feel professionally looked after, nice ambience, I find the afternoon opening times very useful, clear recommendation
