Always worth a detour. The food is very good, the portions are more than sufficient and the service is very friendly and attentive. You notice that you are welcome as a guest and feel comfortable.

An excellent place for a hearty meal! The generous portions that pamper every palate are definitely a highlight. The friendly service creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. The prices are fair and offer good value for money. However, the seating experience could be improved somewhat as the chairs are not particularly comfortable. During our visit we also noticed that it can be a bit noisy at certain times, which slightly affects the ambience. Nevertheless, the positive aspects clearly outweigh the negatives, especially the quality of the food and the hospitality of the staff. I happily recommend this place and will definitely come back because of the excellent food and friendly service!

The entrecôte was perfectly fried with fine herb butter. The fries (with skin on) were also very tasty. The vegetarian forest devotion tasted excellent. The spaetzli were great. The service was very good even though the restaurant was busy. Recommended at any time!

My wife and I are not regulars at this restaurant. We have been visiting this restaurant sporadically with friends and acquaintances for more than 10 years. We have never really been disappointed with the food, service and hospitality. Not the same today, when we were only allowed to enjoy a simple daily menu. Finely cooked and beautifully and lovingly prepared as we have always experienced on our visits to this restaurant with friendly and attentive service. Over the years of our visits, there was also a handover of the baton in this family business in the kitchen and restaurant. In reality, in the catering sector it is often a not entirely unproblematic undertaking. In this company, however, this has obviously and noticeably been successful. According to our findings and assessments, the existing quality was maintained at a high level in every respect across the entire company👍👌👏. The ratio of price, quality and performance is, as always, absolutely flawless.

It is without a doubt the best restaurant in the area. The location is cozy and pleasant, the staff friendly and professional, the food is delicious and of excellent quality with a varied menu. A little expensive but like all restaurants. Definitely worth a try.

The starter was great, but it was a shame that, despite requests, very little bread and butter was served with the tartare. Unusual for a restaurant with a guild award.

Based on a recommendation, we drove an hour from Zurich to have dinner at Bahnhöfli Entlebuch. We were not disappointed: pleasant atmosphere, super nice and courteous service (including greetings from the kitchen) and very fine food with large portions. We can particularly highly recommend the game specialties (venison schnitzel with venison entrecote, saddle of venison), they are worth the price! We'd love to come back next year for the fine game from the Entlebuch region. Thank you for your hospitality!

The food is good, they are very kind and welcoming and there is plenty of choice for vegetarians too. Price in the Swiss average. It's always full, for evenings like Saturday or Sunday it's better to book a few days in advance

If I could I would give 10 stars for a perfect dining experience; From the service to the quality and presentation of the food, it's a real hit! Here the guest is not a table number but king! The boss of the Bahnhöfli is personally concerned about the physical well-being of his guests and takes excellent care of his clientele, as does the entire staff. Please continue. The food was amazing and the service was just as great. The owner/chef takes care of his guests extremely well as he makes sure to come greet and serve his clients himself. They had amazing vegetarian and vegan options, and everything is home made. Could not recommend this place more.

We were at the parking space in Hasle. The Bahnhöfli restaurant in 15 minutes. Walking is absolutely recommended. It is located above Entlebuch train station. The friendly and friendly team will spoil you with excellent food.

Never had a great meal. The price is rather high, but so is the quality. Selection of menu offers something for everyone. The service is very good (friendly and attentive). You are even actively asked for after-service. The atmosphere is cozy and slightly upscale.

Unfortunately we can't click on a 6th star... we would! The eight of us were already looking forward to visiting you. Especially our two daughters, with whom we wanted to celebrate their birthdays with you. Each of our menus was simply great, even with a frantic search we would find absolutely nothing to complain about. Compliments to the kitchen and also to the service! I would particularly like to mention our “special request”. Would we also get a pot of morel sauce... :-)? We got it... and she was just amazing. Very friendly, quick service without any hassle. The food is very tasty, lovingly prepared and of high quality. The prices are on the higher end, but you really get what you pay for. I particularly like the seasonally adjusted offerings, the imaginative and sometimes unusual but very tasty combinations of flavors and textures. Definitely worth a visit!

We were able to experience the Bahnhöfli restaurant on the occasion of a 70th birthday party. The hospitality of the owner and staff cannot be beaten. What came from the kitchen to the table is equivalent to 3 stars or 16 Gault-Millau points. We really enjoyed the evening with the birthday child, the singing former boss Willi, his wife Vreni and the other guests🥂🥳. We would like to come again

We went to Bahnhöfli for lunch as a group (over 30 people) on January 26th, 2022. What's striking is the quick service. Four people for our group. Very tasty food. Our menu: soup or salad / meatloaf / mashed potatoes / vegetables for Fr. 20.--. The main course was served on very hot plates. After some time, it was delivered!! All in all very good! Highly Recommended. Best address I know in Entlebuch. Thank you, I'd love to come back.

Yesterday we were at Bahnhöfli, I am particularly proud to have a restaurant in my hometown that can be considered exemplary in every respect. Starting with the reception, the table assignment, decoration in the restaurant, the friendliness of all employees such as the owner family and chef, the quality and presentation of the food, everything was excellent. And despite the many guests, the very familiar atmosphere, the very friendly service, attentive and asking several times and holding the door when saying goodbye, makes you want to come back again and again. Reservation strongly recommended.
