Bar Apollo in Lugano

I feel at home here now. Simple and genuine cuisine, friendliness and hospitality. Unfortunately there aren't many places like this in Ticino anymore.

The only menu available was the one scribbled on a chalkboard outside of the restaurant. The staff didn't speak English, but we managed to place order for coffee and ice cream, which were really good.

very friendly service, familiar atmosphere, varied selection of lunch menus - there is something for everyone, the dishes are well prepared and have no frills, simple and honest with a lot of charm, reservation recommended, it was my first time here and I have saved it as a favorite
