Wilma's Pizza in Lugano

I'm from New Haven, arguably the best pizza city in the United States this pizza is different yet very tasty. the owner and staff love their mission: and it's the best pizza I've had outside of New Haven.

Poor quality pizza at a high price especially for the very low quality. My husband and I threw away half a portion of what we bought. The dough is dry and tasteless, the ingredients are not very tasty and of poor quality. I will carefully avoid returning. I had already been to this shop some time ago and I didn't like it but I wanted to give it another chance but I won't go back and I don't recommend it.

Good pizza by the slice. There are both the classic ones and the more particular ones. I tried one with courgettes, mozzarella and pesto, very good. The gentleman who served me was really kind and it is always a very appreciable factor.

I recently spent a few days in Lugano and I must say that I stopped by often on the advice of my partner. The pizza is excellent, fabulous dough, light and very digestible. The pizzas are truly original and very imaginative, always with excellent combinations. The staff is always friendly, I really had a good time. Congratulations!

The place is nice, but the prices in relation to the product received are too high, I could understand the price if there was the possibility of consuming the meal on the spot but this service is not offered, also pizza reheated on the spot.

A real thunderbolt, my friend and I for 4 literally tiny pieces of square that we didn't even fill up with 18 francs, absurd stuff. Then having these prices to not even have a seat and to receive a reheated pizza that's hard as a rock. Not at all satisfied!

I've found it good in the past.. but lately I no longer justify the price. I understand the quality raw materials and the location in the centre, but the last 2 times I paid 13 francs for a minimum of two slices, heated in a stove which left a slightly ferrous/burnt taste of the bottom and didn't even heat adequately. It's a real shame... I've never argued about prices but it's no longer a good service

Clean and welcoming place, the pizza dough is crunchy at the base and the seasoning is delicious, the dough is made with great care, you can feel the quality in everything. The staff is friendly and helpful and the variety of pizza is great, super recommended!

While passing through Lugano I wanted to eat pizza, Wilma's open on Sundays managed to satisfy expectations. Delicious pizzas, original combinations that I hadn't tried yet in Ticino, very kind staff and a really good owner. Furthermore, the musical selection deserves top marks, as do their pizzas. If you are looking for a good pizza, you won't regret it!

Ridiculous, the pizza looks like a sole, time to find a place to sit and it has become a stone.... Not to mention the prices, I can understand the crisis, but it is not a valid justification for making a 6cm x 15cm slice of pizza cost CHF 6.50. Not even enough for a child.... I took an arancino with ragù to avoid possible malnourishment and for 4 CHF they provide their esteemed customers with a mass of raw rice mixed with sadness and desperation, the ragù tasteless and completely absent, the fior di latte inside is perhaps the only food that has been treated in the right way has simply become stringy with heat. I really hope this doesn't happen to anyone else, for those who have a good palate this place is gastronomy hell. I am truly speechless.

Takeaway pizza, very simple Margherita, consumed 15 minutes after taking it, I can only tell you that I have never had a stomach ache like this from a pizza! I don't know if it's due to the dough being left to rise badly/too little, or to bad ingredients, but I eat pizza every Sunday (so it's not my food intolerance), but I've never had so many ailments after eating a pizza! Needless to say, I don't recommend the place, and I won't go back again.

This is the second time I had from Wilma's this week! And I am waiting to have again over the next weekend :))) The chefs and staff were very kind and cheerful with us. They listed the vegetarian options and even offered to make a vegetarian pizza to our liking! Both the pizzas were top notch & perfectly hot and yummy. We had ordered the vegetarian pizza and they happily agreed to add our choice of additional toppings. This made us feel very comfortable & at home! The crust and base were the BEST :)!! Looking forward to ordering and picking up again! Thank you very much for the heart warming service.
