Bar Kiki in Ascona

Unfortunately it was a very bad decision to drink a bottle of wine in this bar. I'm sorry for you employee, she did everything right and was nice. . I like to feel welcome as a guest, but I didn't feel much hospitality and warmth from the boss - I've probably been in this company too long. The way she greeted and said goodbye to us in a frightening way was very strange. When we asked about a bottle of wine or later about a menu for cocktails, we always received unfriendly answers from the boss. After 30 years of warmth in beautiful Ticino, I once again had a very bad experience... the nice thing is, there are many bars in the area with Still. One Kiki is enough. Salutes

We spent entertaining evenings at Bar Kiki during our vacation in Ascona. Small, stylishly furnished bar where you feel comfortable. The owner is very friendly and chats with the guests. We can only recommend Bar Kiki.

I wanted to have a leisurely drink and put my backpack on a second chair because I might also want to give my little daughter a shopping bag that was in the backpack. That was too much for the waitress/owner. She came to me with a completely unfriendly tone and annoyed. When I wanted to order the drinks menu, she also made a face and sighed heavily, but said nothing. I then asked if I should go back and she said she didn't care...what do you say about that - an indictment. I have never experienced anything so unfriendly in the catering industry. Before I left I told her that too, but she was very unreasonable and a few guests (apparently regulars were embarrassed, but logically had to stick by her) I'm not the first with such a review😉 Absolutely not recommended this bar, apparently this bar doesn't need anything anymore...

One of the service staff was the unfriendliest and laziest person i ever met. Food ok.
