Bar Nabas in Regensdorf

Ordered kebab with extra side dishes for CHF 26.50. Both sauces and spicy powder were forgotten and a kebab was ordered without tomatoes and onions and was still prepared with tomatoes and onions. At these prices, such mistakes shouldn't happen. It's really annoying and not the first time.

Unfortunately we had to wait 30 minutes for a kebab and fries. Food is fine but service is totally unprofessional.

I ate here a lot. But lately the store has taken a hit for me. So when you come in, the boss directs you directly to a screen. The human aspect falls completely by the wayside. The screens then run incorrectly (experienced several times), which is a shame. And then there's the price: So 19.50 for a kebab with a drink is really not worth it anymore, sorry Barnabas, I'd rather eat a sandwich made by mom for 4.00 francs with ingredients from Migros.

I've been there several times and I have to say the food is really very good and the price is ok for me, but I find it very stupid that every time something is wrong with the order, sometimes something is forgotten, sometimes something is put in where you didn't order has. It's just very tedious when you arrive home hungry and want to eat and suddenly you have spicy powder in it even though you can't tolerate spicy, then you have to go to the trouble of driving back and then all you get is a dry apology. It was redone for me but I saw the annoyed looks and you just don't feel valued as a customer. (For saying it nicely and also apologizing for their effort) It's just a shame because I think this store really has potential if the employees were more interested in the customers and showed more appreciation. I was also often missing an egg or something for which I paid extra, but I just don't say anything anymore because 1. it makes me uncomfortable because I now know how the team reacts to it and 2. I don't want to go to the trouble of driving back every time . But I still think that you should do the job right from the start. Once ok, twice ok, but after a while it gets annoying. But I still like to come because the food is really very good.

Was here for the first time. Doner kebab in a pocket bread to take away. It was very nice, but it doesn't justify the price of 2 p.m.

The kebab tastes very tasty, especially the kebab meat and especially the bread, very crispy. The staff are very friendly. I can recommend the kebab at Barnabas.

Never again! Approximately every other time the order was incorrect! Our last order with two kebabs had 7 errors. I even got meat instead of falafel! Absolutely unacceptable for the price.

Kebab is mediocre, the meat has recently become very dry (-1 star), the price is too high (-1 star) and there has just been a disproportionate price increase (-1 star). There are now many good alternatives in the area.

14.- for a mediocre kebab that doesn't fill you up (normal stature) is already steep. The prices have now been increased in moderate steps; a year ago the kebab cost 12.50. So within a year it has become 11% more expensive and the kebab is being filled less and less. Otherwise the service is ok - but there are often very long waiting times even though there are not many customers in the restaurant. 15-30 minutes waiting time is normal. So if you're looking for a good, fine and "inexpensive" kebab, you're better off going to B-Tasty near the Regensdorf center - 11.90 francs including house sauce, I think is fair.

The food is good. Waiting times far too long. I was the first guest on site (11:30 a.m.) and had to wait 20 minutes for my kebab, even though there were no other guests. Reason; The staff first prepares all telephone orders (this product then sits under the warming bell until it is picked up). It can't be that the guests on site aren't served first. The best comes last; you can only order for take-away.

One of the worst kebabs ever. It smells bad. Looks like dog food, it’s not meat inside. Sauce awful. Too less salad for my taste. Bread cracks down. Pommes 7 chf😂😂 Never again! And inside smells bad, just wanted to go out!

I've been a customer from the very beginning, when the boys' father started small on Wehntalerstr and rolled kebabs himself! But what's going on now with the prices is a pure rip-off. In BARNABAS, portion of fries 7.50 in a mini bowl, and then the poor quality of the fries is SIMPLY overpriced. I always order fries with salt, eight times out of ten I get the cheap seasoning. Bought kebabs, flatbread, and in my opinion meat is no longer of the same quality as it used to be and all for CHF 12.50. / AYWERDIS 14.50 … The cost of a good kebab is CHF 4.00. The drinks are exactly the same homemade ice tea or water, just overpriced... Decision: no more AYWERDIS AND BARNABAS, there are other better Kebab TakAway in Zurich.

Have visited Barnabas a few times. Most of the time everything went very well and the order was received and executed correctly. The quality always seems to be fresh, but I have the feeling that the meat was juicier and better seasoned. The flatbread is definitely well fried and not sticky like in many other kebab shops. Totally okay, but no specially good Doener for 13.50 CHF. Was fresh and well composed, but all together too saucy and a bit too salty for my taste. Bread was a bit subpar.

Very tasty and also fresh meat, price too expensive (I understand because of inflation) Local very good. The toilet could be renovated and a dryer installed. When ordering the kebab there are many options, very good and fresh yogurt sauce. Would give a 4.65 (rounded up) 5 stars. I would recommend, kebab pizza also very nice. I've been going to the kebab shop every week for almost 3 years and it's very nice. It's a lot of fun with family and friends. ❤️ Try it❤️

I was a customer for years, its a bit more expensive than your regular kebab stores but the food is absolutely amazing and the owner is so far always friendly and communicative with the guests.

To my taste, it's cheap donner meat that doesn't really taste like meat. The sauces are extremely sweet and artificial especially the cocktail sauce. Also extremely expensive plus a 35 minute waiting time for 2 things. I won't go there again, sorry.

I have known Lokas since it was opened by Mu. (owner) Yes, the waiting times were a bit long but the food was good. I wanted to give Mu. feedback 3-4 times this year, unfortunately he was never there and the staff didn't want to know where he was either. The dishes were each prepared with a lot of feeling. Unfortunately, the last 4 orders at the counter were carried out incorrectly even though they were simple. Always ordered the same thing: kebab, flatbread, egg, salad, onions, both sauces, and powder spicy, sometimes carrots. Today I was there again and someone who wanted to order was directed to the digital terminal. There was a customer in front of me who tried it and got annoyed and then went to the counter. I couldn't even enter the order afterwards because the last customer still had to pay. After 5 minutes of unsuccessful attempts, the other customer had already ordered at the counter for a long time and I lost even more time. For a kebab for around 16.- I expect a service and not to be directed to a terminal so that the employees behind the counter chat without work. (Today 12:45) This may be my last visit. I only gave it 2 stars because I have known the business for years. hmm now it's 4:45 p.m. and I'm making something at home

The waiting time is over 45 minutes, even though there are just under 10 pending orders. I would understand this to some extent during extremely rush hour, but I have never experienced the inefficiency with so few orders. You could take a lesson from the Döner main station when it comes to speed

Since we first ate here, we haven't had any other kebab - by far the best kebab/dürüm far and wide. The prices are a little higher, but everything always tastes heavenly - from the meat to the (flat) bread to the vegetables and the sauces. Too expensive for average quality, overwhelmed staff (3 employees), with a moderate number of orders (5 guests) and a waiting time of over 20 minutes. For me as a former restaurateur, it failed across the board.

Although it belongs to Ayverdis, I was a bit disappointed with the food. The kebab was a bit dry and the bread was too crispy. Unfortunately it was a bit of a shame but it could also have been a coincidence. The location is very nicely decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere. I'd love to come back.
