Good restaurant but rather expensive and small portions. But the quality is very good.

Alex treated us to excellent service and the food was very good. We'd love to come back!

Were there over lunch. The food tasted very good and was very nicely prepared. The service is very friendly and attentive. Very nice atmosphere. We reserved a table, which turned out to be a good decision. There were a lot of guests there, but it wasn't unpleasantly loud. This restaurant is highly recommended. We'll definitely be happy to come back.

Always a very nice evening in the Furtbächli. Dine in a cozy atmosphere with candlelight. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is very, very fine. This time I ordered a small portion of the starter and the main course. I was a bit disappointed with the quantity of the main course. Even if ordered small it could have been a little more for the price. But since it was super tasty... I ignored it. Restaurants often put too much on the plate, so I thought small was ok. but here at Furtbächli you should order the normal portion. At the end I have to mention that we were offered a biscuit to go with the fine coffee. A great finish. Thank you dear team.

The only thing I experienced as very negative was that the more guests there were in the room, it became very, very warm. In addition, the chairs were covered with leather or imitation leather and therefore no air could circulate.

I've often driven past this restaurant on the way to work. But now I paid him my first visit. Atypical location of a restaurant - integrated into a residential complex. But this makes it special in a way! Classic and modern furnishings, the restaurant is divided into 3 parts, there is also a bar in a separate room and a smoker. The service was great, the dishes were wonderful, nice ambience and atmosphere, everywhere is covered in white. We'd love to come back there.

The food was very tasty and the service was friendly. It's also great that you can choose between large and small portions for many dishes. The restaurant was also very full at lunchtime, so reservations are recommended.

I like to have lunch at Furtbächli with my customers. I also celebrated my birthday with them. At Furtbächli you always feel like you're in good hands and the fine dishes are always of high quality. The serving staff is attentive and courteous. You can feel the good team spirit everywhere. I am particularly pleased that I was able to photograph Anita and Hanspeter's retirement and handover celebration and that I was able to stage the "new" Furtbächli for their daughter Sandra for her new website. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant and I was absolutely impressed. The attention the staff gave us was truly remarkable. The first birthday wishes were already at the door. The table was perfectly set for the occasion, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The food itself was of high quality. Every bite was a pleasure and the presentation of the dishes was also very appealing. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service from Alex, who looked after us throughout the entire evening. His kindness and attentiveness really enriched our experience. To round things off, we were presented with a sparkling sparkler. Together with the attentive staff, we sang a happy song that made this special moment even more unforgettable. The combination of the loving gesture and the rousing atmosphere really made this evening something special. A big thank you goes to the entire team! See you soon..

Yesterday the Furtbächli restaurant reopened after the summer break. We had dinner with friends. The quality of the service and the food is still very high. The new boss, Sanda Meier and her team did a great job yesterday. Keep it up!

The food was a delight for the palate and the eye. Refreshingly clear map on which everyone can find something that suits them. Zander piccata is a very successful creation. The boss was very friendly and present. Our service was unusually (too) “direct/brisk” at the beginning, but then picked up over the course of the evening and was overall ok and, above all, pleasingly quick. Unfortunately, the atmosphere inside in the separate, potentially quiet room was too loud. However, all three adjacent tables were gradually occupied by (nice and attentive) families with small children, so the noise level became somewhat unpleasantly high. The taste of cigars from the terrace wafted in through the open door. All in all, however, a thoroughly successful evening. Gladly again.

Very good food, excellent service staff, politely courteous, almost reading the guests' wishes from their eyes. Families with children received a toy box to keep the children busy. The people know their craft in the kitchen and restaurant

The map is small but nice. The restaurant is a family business, which comes across noticeably... you are really a guest here. The ambience seems a bit dated but the attention you receive and the service are first class. Culinary dining for two is guaranteed here. Recommended.

Good swiss restaurant. Very good quality dishes and the only downside is the pricing. It is at or above the level of some fancier central Zurich places. Still, a pleasant experience.

The food was, like last time, very good. The recommended “secret” nut salad with bacon and egg was an 11 out of 10. My friend's lame, on the other hand, was a bit dry this time, but you could still eat it. The waiter served us politely and well. We'd love to come back!

The waiter who served us was extremely friendly and attentive. When my colleague coughed, he was immediately at the table with a glass of water. Quick and attentive - we only had a short amount of time - everything worked wonderfully. The food is of good quality. And plenty of chocolates. I'm looking forward to my daughter taking over the business in the summer. Certainly so hospitable.

The absolute best Chateaubriand far and wide, you can choose your side dish (spätzle, gratin, fries, rice etc.) in 2 courses, the sauce is a dream. Iced cappuccino: I have never tasted such delicious “coffee ice cream”. We'll definitely be back.

The two of us had lunch at Furtbächli. The food itself was good, although the entrecòte from Argentina was quite tough. What's wrong are the prices. CHF 58 for a tough piece of meat and few side dishes + CHF 16 for a nut salad are clearly too expensive. A double espresso for CHF 8 is also at the top limit. We actually thought we were in the Furtbächli and not in the Bellevue in Bern.

Top Swiss quality. Great, friendly service. Family owned. If you are still hungry, they will bring you some more. That's really a first for me in this country Around 150 chf for 2 people without wine.

We were 2 people for dinner. Reservation early is recommended. The reception from the new boss was very friendly. The service was also very friendly and funny and had the matter under control 😊 The food was excellent. The portions could be a little larger for my taste. You also tend to pay a little more. We will then try it again from August 2023.

So the Furtbächli should be made the royal standard in gastronomy: perfect service, food has been top notch since time immemorial! Owner-managed, very personal, attentive and super friendly! Nice restaurant, own parking spaces, reservation recommended, seasonal and popular dishes, nice and attentive staff, when full it is rather noisy. Unfortunately it will close at the end of June 2023. It's a shame... Update 12.2022: yay, the Furtbächli will continue! We are excited about the new era 🙂

We spent a wonderfully delicious evening with friends at 'Furtbächli'. Professional service, excellent dishes, a well-stocked wine list, everything was just right. Unfortunately it will only be open until mid-2023, but after so many busy years the owners deserve a more relaxing time!

An institution. Very good food combined with very good, attentive service. The venison saltimbocca was very tender, the risotto with egg sponges was perfectly al dente and well seasoned. The red cabbage was also very fine. This menu was rounded off with a lightly thickened wild jus. I would be happy to return.

You immediately feel “at home” and our meals were very tasty. It's always been that way, quality has its price, but it's better to pay a price for a meal that you feel afterwards was absolutely worth it.

Service very friendly and quick. Well designed indoor and outdoor seating. Toilet large and clean with usable toilet and hand drying paper. Ice cream balls rather small, but very good. Price level rather high.
