Restaurant Hardegg in Regensdorf

Nice restaurant, can recommend the Cordon Bleu, large portion and freshly made. Service was always friendly and attentive. Can recommend the restaurant. Toilet is clean and nice.

Food is okay. Service inadequate. Not attentive and long waiting time. Update: Was in this restaurant again and I have to say it is worth exactly 3 stars! No more and no less. We made reservations for about 15 people, but when we arrived they had to push the tables together (weak and unprepared). We were recommended the house cheesecake for dessert. After 1 bite I had to leave it alone. The other piece of cheesecake that was ordered was at least half eaten (decency). After all, only 1 piece was charged. The service was friendly.

That food tasted good. The service was top. Something not on the menu was conjured up spontaneously to suit our wishes. After our visit everything smelled very much like kitchen, which I didn't like. Thank you for the hospitality. We'd love to come back.

Pleasant, nicely furnished restaurant with great, home-style Swiss cuisine. We have been here a few times now and the impression has always been positive. A great cordon bleu is served here that needs little comparison. The service is also friendly and attentive.

Very rude...we were expelled from the place...at first we were told that dogs were allowed and when we were there we had to leave the restaurant again... Travel from Thurgau to Regensdorf is free. Very very cheeky...this boss shouldn't run a restaurant.

We weren't disappointed with the food, it was good But the service was very bad. We've never been to a restaurant that didn't want to sell us a bottle of wine. We had to explain to the waitress on her cell phone that there was bottled wine in the restaurant!

Delicious tomatoes with buffalo morzzarela. FOR 15.50 Fr. The pizzas are also very tasty and very crispy pizza 🍕 🍕 Delicious with shrimp and plenty of garlic.

Unfriendly service. Smoking cigars on the terrace is simply disgusting when you are there. Water 7.- and that for a view of a horrible parking lot. There are people working in the kitchen who work without gloves and I saw them wiping off their sweat and later adding salt and taking plates with the same hand. Iiiiit

Excellent cordon bleu's. Also available in XXL upon request. The pannade is wonderfully crispy and the cheese (mixture of 8 types) is a poem! Fish is available on Fridays. For example, we spontaneously received a plate of mussels with tomato sauce, which wasn't even on the menu. Just ask, the chef makes many things possible!

Was eating there for the first time with work colleagues. I was so excited that I went again two days later with my wife and sister-in-law. Food and service are great. Many thanks to the service team.

We were there for ice cream. The selection is ok. Prices have risen everywhere, including here. A normal coupe now costs 14.50 and of course doesn't look as nice as it does on the menu. Also, no separate chocolate sauce is served, even though it is illustrated that way on the menu. At least it tastes good, but for me the price is too high given the presentation and the location and ambience of the restaurant.

There are great cordon bleus and good fries here. The service was nice.

First visit: Good restaurant, nice atmosphere, friendly service and good quality food, you can also see that it is fresh. The Argentinian meat was also very tasty. I would go back in a heartbeat and would happily recommend it. My second visit wasn't quite as exciting in terms of the meat preparation as the first time. Third visit: this time too the meat was not fried as ordered. It's a shame because everything else was really great.

We came in and were just stared at stupidly by the staff who were all in a corner and a gentleman who also looked very unfriendly didn't assign us a seat, we stood there as ordered and weren't picked up, we weren't warmly welcomed. Afterwards there was another difference of opinion and we thought we could go, then the gentleman said yes it was better. I won't set foot in this restaurant again.

We had SchniPo, Leberli and Spätzli gratin. All 3 menus are impeccably fine. Service was quick and attentive, and at the end we received grappa/limoncello as a bonus. Super nice. Highly recommended and price/performance ratio is difficult.

Dear Sir or Madam, Best Restaurant EVER. It's been a long time since I've had such an explosive taste when eating. You have to experience it for yourself.

I am sure they can improve. But this wasn't nice, these desserts were inedible and the wine had been open for days... And the caffeine-free latte macchiato with caffeine! First cooked a point and then bleu. Tried another colonel, the ice cream was inedible from the last lockdown 😭. The wine was very fine and the sweet karloffen frits were great! In the end the calculation was painful... June 26, 2022 This is awesome!! I order the house wine and the most expensive wine on the menu is served to me!! Malbec they say😥 has probably been open for a week. They definitely wiped out my desire to come here!!

Unfortunately there is no longer any a la carte offer at lunchtime, only daily menu as there are not enough staff in the kitchen (apparently 2 people). However, menu prices +/- are still the same as before with more staff in the kitchen. Specifically, this only means one vegetarian menu, which isn't even on the website. This means it is definitely no longer suitable for a business lunch! very unfortunate...

The giant prawns with vegetables are super delicious. I'll eat them again next time I visit😋

Friendly people and delicious food

We had the gaucho platter (New York club steak, beef fillet, rib-eye steak For 2-4 people (4 side dishes) 1200g, CHF 280) We didn't like it, our expectations weren't even close to being met. If a restaurant advertises meat like that then at least it should be good. The pieces were very poorly cut (thin and medium/well done). The taste was subterranean. Unfortunately, a big disappointment with a hefty price (if it had been good, the price would of course have been justified) To me it looked like leftover meat from other cuts had been served to us. There wasn't even an attempt to explain which piece was supposed to be which. Where the New York club steak was, no idea, beef fillet? I can't recommend this "dish" from the menu to anyone. Service intrusively friendly. Not to forget that the menu salad was offered and then miscalculated, and there was too much water (0.5L for 6.5 CHF). Didn't add any value to the whole thing.

We were thrilled with the restaurant at the beginning of the year, everything was just right. But yesterday I was just disappointed. Ordered tartare and received rock-hard toast, which was then replaced after a complaint. I ordered the tartare medium, it was very spicy and completely over salted, after half of it I couldn't eat any more. When I said it, all I received was a thank you for the feedback, no apology or, for example, a free coffee. The Ceasers salad was made with regular French sauce with hard seared chicken. A disappointment. After dinner no one came for almost an hour, we had to ask for coffee. The question about dessert came at 10:45 p.m., about 1.5 hours after dinner. In addition, there were guests in the restaurant with two dogs who constantly barked loudly and for a long time, which was very unpleasant and no one said anything. There are better restaurants in the area. A pity

We often visited Hardegg last summer and were always satisfied, which is why we chose this restaurant as an aperitif after our daughter's baptism. Everything went to shit. The agreement with the owner was a large meat and cheese platter, various rolls (salmon, egg, tomato...) and various rolls... When we arrived at the restaurant after the baptism there was nothing there. Nothing. Our disappointment was great, the excuse was "I didn't want to make a record because of Corona" ... but did we get the deal? We got some pizzas for OUR guests, which was VERY embarrassing for us because everyone was having an aperitif that none of us saw. A pity. A few pizzas and some chicken wings for 50 people after a baptism.

Today, February 3rd, 2022, we were in Hardegg for lunch. Had the hit of the day, meat was very well cooked, to the point. Unfortunately the vegetables were a bit cold. But it was corrected immediately upon notification. The service is very attentive.👍 The ☕️ went on the house.
