A lovely place for home style Italian food.. Amazing Risotto and Spaghetti carbonara.. Great ambience of a small Inn/Grotto adds a nice vibe .. and of course the Grana padano risotto preparation..

It is a restaurant to which I would return. The staff is exceptional, you rarely find people so dedicated to your own comfort at a restaurant. We had an exceptional dinner!!! When you are here you must try the specialty of the house with pear and risotto or a risotto with meat. It is something that is divine from a taste point of my view minimum. I recommend you try it. You won't regret! A restaurant and staff of grade 10!

5 stars across the board - some of the best food I have ever eaten. The father/son that own and operate the restaurant are incredibly gracious and accommodating. They make you feel like family. If I ever come back to Morcote I will definitely be paying them another visit.

Family-run restaurant, the father has mastered his kitchen skills perfectly, while the son acts as a top host. If you prefer classic, high-quality Ticino cuisine, you should remember this address. This is the 2nd time we have come to Morcote and the 2nd time we have eaten in this very charming little restaurant on the banks of Lake Lugano. I highly recommend, very good and well served. A unique experience, here the courtesy and professionalism of the staff are unparalleled. Risotto is their flagship, they serve it piping hot and mix it in a giant wheel of parmesan to mix everything together... I've been going back years later and it's always top notch. The risotto is from the Gods haha ​​no words just trying it to get an idea, quality service in a cozy restaurant. This is our 3rd time to stop there whenever we can.

The manager welcomed us with discreet courtesy. In a relaxing and peaceful environment, under the porticoes overlooking the lake, I ate quite well and, although everything in Switzerland costs significantly more than in Italy, I spent a little less than average. The food was excellent. We had Risotto with Ossobuco and Gnocci with Gorgonzola - both were very flavorful. And there was a nice view to the lake. The personal was very friendly.

Very nice experience in this restaurant by the lake. The service is friendly and very professional The spaghetti carbonara is al dente and without false notes. I recommend taking a break in this welcoming and very well-run restaurant.

I would have travelled 2 hours from Lucerne again just for their food.

Me and my girlfriend came here on our first day of our trip and enjoyed the mushroom pasta and chili garlic pasta. We were blown away by how good it was!! We then spent the next week touring other restaurants in lugano from everything from 5 star hotel rooftop dining to white cloth tabled places. Everytime we kept comparing their foods to the standard set by this one. We ended our trip coming back to have another go to see if it wasn't rose tinted glasses. Just as good as the first time and easily the BEST meals of our trip!! Highly recommended!!
