Good place with Swiss food and atmosphere

Very hospitable lockal. We ate well and felt very comfortable with our children.

Borderline.... Formed meat schnitzel from the freezer. Was made in the same deep fryer along with the fries. Oil also needed to be changed. Was there in the military 30 years ago. Back then for drinking. Sorry, I thought about rating it for a long time, but that's just not possible.... Was there in March 2023. In my opinion, the term canteen would be more appropriate than restaurant.. Sorry...service was very friendly.. I'll stop by again next year. If necessary, I will change the rating. Make the best of it

Based on the reviews we read, we expected more. The food was good but the roast beef was tarnished and no longer pink. We've eaten better for the price we paid. The service was friendly, but not really attentive.

I was there with my partner in the evening to have something nice to eat after moving. The menu didn't look bad, but the food we ordered was absolutely inedible! Spätzli pan and cordon bleu: warmed up, carelessly cooked (pasta hard, meat black, warmed up) Nobody apologized, the chef didn't even show himself, he kept silent and explained himself! We refused to pay and left... ABSOLUTELY NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

We had a family celebration in the rest. Bears with Evelyne and Rüedu. It all started with an aperitif on the beautiful terrace. Then the main course was LOTS of grilled meat with potato gratin, fries, not just for the children... super nice salads. Finally, a seasonal dessert. Time-honored restaurant that has hardly changed in the last forty years. Home-style food. Unfortunately, it is not possible for people to be practically thrown out of the hall after an abdication dinner because the same hall has already been rescheduled. Apparently someone can't make plans! We can no longer take this into account for group reservations.

What and how Mommy used to cook can be found here again at the Bären im Sand inn. The landlady is reminiscent of the typical mother who serves healthy food in large portions. Fortunately, you can choose your own dishes from a delicious menu. Cheap price range

The daily menu is varied, fine food at fair prices, well-proportioned plates, friendly and quick service. Again any time!

Mediocre restaurant, food is good. Service is attentive and friendly. Prices are really cheap and the portions are just right, if you didn't get enough, you get a second helping straight away.

We sat down, then left again after 15-20 minutes because we weren't served. There wasn't so much going on that you could use that as a reason. But it looked very good, we had enough time to appreciate the atmosphere

If you see soldiers in uniform don't worry, the third world war has not broken out! You simply find yourself at a restaurant in the middle of a military barracks, probably the most characteristic one in Switzerland. In fact, if you look out the windows you will most likely be able to see the train troops practicing for the transport of material on the backs of horses/mules as well as the dog units. Overall restaurant of good taste and easily accessible.
