Bärenstube in Vitznau

Stopped in while skiing. Self-service and only a very limited selection of food and drinks. Cozy restaurant and beautiful view.

Were there at 1 p.m. on a beautiful sunny Sunday in autumn. There were no more hash browns. The waitress said if we didn't like it, we could go to another place.

Nice local restaurant to eat after a hike

Nice outdoor patio with views of the mountains. Enjoyed the well favored goulash soup and the mixed salad with a good variety of vegetables and macaroni. Ordered at the counter and they brought our food to the table. Relaxed and casual atmosphere.

Salad is practically inedible. Otherwise food is uninspired, you eat better at home. Everything is self-service, the building looks old and run down. Just CH gastronomy, there's just enough for fries. Unfortunately there are only a few good restaurants on the Rigi.

The terrace is not adequately covered by staff, although self-service can sometimes take 6-7 minutes to wait until the order can be placed.

Price performance is not right. But rather expensive and the food (älplermac.) wasn't really good.

Beautiful piste restaurant. We each eat a nut crescent. Unfortunately, inside they carry out the certificate drama without protest. At least without any solidarity claim to do something good with it

The Bärenstube has a wonderful view over Lake Lucerne and the mountains. The menu is not very large, but the homemade cheesecake with wholemeal dough and a light cheese filling was very good!
