BarMünster in Zürich

Bar which is located in the middle of the old town on Münstergasse (at the level of the town hall and in the immediate vicinity of Schwarzenbach). The bar is decorated in a sweet and homely manner and is larger than you can imagine from the outside. The menu is lovingly designed and peppered with historical references (there are both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks). The staff was friendly, accommodating and you immediately felt at home. A great spot for history fans to enjoy very good drinks.

I came here with 3 girlfriends and we enjoyed our time here. I like the vibe and ambiance. It’s a cute little bar with friendly service and nice cocktails with prices that I would say are on par with Zurich standards maybe even a little cheaper. My favourite drink here had to be the Pablo which I recommend if you like tequila and spicy, it had a nice little kick to it. I tried almost all the tequila cocktails and you can’t go wrong with any of them. Definitely will be back to try out more cocktails.

One of my favourite bars in Zurich! I recommend Bar Münster to all of my friends visiting Zurich and love to go there for outstanding drinks. Staff is always 10/10.

Rude service. A friend came to say hello and he sat down for 1 minute. The waiter came upset to tell him he had to leave or change table because he could not be there. He told him it was only for 1 minute. He insisted and my friend had to leave. I am not coming back

Nice place to have a drink in Zurich. I really enjoyed the music playing (80s, 90s pop rock). The atmosphere is also really cosy & chill.

Cozy bar in the old town with friendly service. Can easily find what you want here as they had classic drinks across the range of base alcohols but also, drinks with creative twists. Apple Smule was light and crisp.

Perfect cocktail bar! I recommend sitting at the bar because you can see how the cocktails are made. Everything is very tasty and a great atmosphere!

Deplorable service, staff who think they are God: strongly discouraged! We had just entered and without even approaching us, from behind the bar, two people shouted at us to tell us that we couldn't enter as they were full... Below any quality standard!

I much prefer cocktails over beer and have found that not all places in Zurich serve cocktails. BarMünster was the perfect place! Not only was there a wide selection of delicious drinks, the bartenders were helpful and fun to watch; they were proud of their craft. The atmosphere is tremendous but if you want to keep walking, no fear, they can make you a cocktail to go in an adorable reusable cup. I loved this place, it will be my first stop next time I’m in Zurich.

Drinks are very light and sugary. Recommend it for dates because presentation and ambience are excellent.

The drink was served in a broken glass I informed the bar tender and he did not bother to change the glass. Unprofessional.

Nice place, good atmosphere. Found in the alleys of the old town of Zurich. The waitress was excellent and recommended us from the selection. We drank excellent margaritas and a very worthwhile Cosmopolitan.

The Espresso Martini is very good. Great for people watching if you're lucky enough to get a spot next to the window. My friend and I visit every few months and always have a great time.

Fantastic place for a date, meeting with a few friends or to go solo. Chill ambiance with a great playlist, and extremely capable bartender. In a crowded cocktail bar everyone had a drink, the bar was spotless and maintained AND the bartender was making meaningful conversation with us. Highly recommend!
