Hearty cuisine. Homemade spaetzle, the “Bättmerhitta” cheese slices, the Erdinger beef bratwurst with saffron risotto and the cream slices are a hit. Good food at reasonable prices and friendly staff. Directly on the ski slopes and on the winter hiking trail. Card payment possible.

We were supposed to wait a bit to be seated, because all tables were occupied, but it was definitely worth the wait. Very nice restaurant, friendly staff, we ordered and after 10 mins. everything was served. We also tried the appfelstrudel and the Cremeschnitte - both very delicious as the rest of the food!

Great location, in the middle of the hiking trail between Fiescheralp and Bettmeralp. Friendly, lovingly designed. Fantastic cuisine with great attention to detail. The world's best cheese spaetzli and the cream slices are huge and worth a visit in themselves.

Wonderful place to stop off. No matter whether while skiing or on a nice snowshoe hike. Spaces are limited but definitely worth a stop.

Goulash soup, minestrone with cheese slices and cream slices were very good! When it comes to coffee, there are brands that taste better. The staff is attentive and very friendly and quick!

The Bettmerhütte is one of our favorite ski slope huts in the Aletscharena. We just don't understand why the outside terrace is closed today in the beautiful sunshine on a Saturday and thanks to the windless weather. We saved the visit to the hut for today because it's finally sunny weather again. We won't be able to get past that quickly.

Organization can be improved. Anyone who likes to wait is in good hands here.

The hut is beautifully located and can be easily reached from Bettmeralp in an hour (via BaSchweri). The service is very well organized and there is a nice marble run for the little ones. The food was extremely good, especially the risotto with Eringerwurst. This far exceeded our expectations for a mountain restaurant. We recommend

Nice restaurant, great for a quick lunch inbetween skiing. We wait approximately 10 mins go get a space on the terasse since it was pretty full, and once we ordered, another 10 for the food. Service is friendly. They also have clean bathrooms. View is nice, location also very nice. Food itself is good. We had fries, käseschnitte (was a bit boring, a salad on the nice would have made it nicer), soups, and the homemade macaroni (very nice). Overall can recommend.

The service is a disaster, they have no idea and I think the kitchen falls asleep while cooking.

Location and food are tip top. But the timing of the dishes is a disaster. Had lunch there twice and one had finished eating by the time the other got the food. Once isn't a once...but when it happens again and again, it's really annoying.

The best food far and wide can be found here. You can reach the hut in winter with skis or snowboards, in style and comfort, or on a nice walk. In winter with the sleigh, in summer through beautiful forests and over beautiful meadows.

The cream slices are a brain explosion 🤘 Here we bake and cook with love and skill. I was a ski coach for three days and was looking forward to stopping off at the “Bättmer-Hitta” at lunchtime. If you like Fietz on the Moselle, you should definitely try the sour Mooscht. Make sure you get back on the slopes, you can easily sink here 😉

Acceptable location with sunshine. Meals are a bit sparse. The waiting times are relatively long. As an example, ordering one (1) cream slice may take around 50 minutes.

Valais cheese cuts are regular.

great place in a wonderful location. - Only when the weather is nice there is quite a crowd on the stylish terrace.

2 stars deducted for the lack of vegan options on the menu. Unfortunately not available apart from green salad and fries. A pity! If there were equivalent vegan options (cholera, Älplermakronen can be easily veganized with appropriate preparation) I would give it 5 stars: friendly staff, great location, sun terrace!

The winter hiking trail from Bettmeralp to Bättmer-Hitte is wonderful with an enchanting view. This includes a visit to the Bättmer-Hitte or the Jägerstübli. If you like it sweet, you should definitely try a cream slice. She is world class!

We were in the Bättmerhitta on Thursday, but it was raining but we still sat outside. The staff immediately brought us sheepskins and wool blankets. No staff on site for 10 minutes. Then wait 5 minutes until other guests have paid. Ordered food and waited another 30 minutes for it. Carrot ginger soup was good. Valais cheese cuts disappointing. The bread has never seen white wine.

We go to Bettmeralp every year on our skiing holidays and it's always worth a visit to the Bettmer Hitta, whether on foot or on skis/board...and mefa are the cream cakes, that's why it's worth it, and a good solution with take away in the Corona time

You have to decide for yourself whether it should be an aperitif, main course or dessert. But one thing is for sure, you will love the food there.

Very cozy hut away from the piste.. Food was good and not too expensive. Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired, 30 minutes waiting time for 2 hot dogs and fries.. Since there wasn't a big rush, it's completely incomprehensible to me to wait so long.

The hut is located almost halfway between Fischeralp and Bettmeralp and invites you to linger. And you really should do this. Super rustic furnishings with a large fireplace...wonderful....The food is amazing...the beer in Valais is delicious....The staff is really friendly
