Beach House Delfin in Baar

We were there today and wanted to have dinner. After swimming, the kids already went to the restaurant and looked at what they wanted to eat. After we finally moved and got in there, we looked for a place at a table. The waitress smiled friendly and wiped tables. We then went to the buffet and wanted to order. At first there was no one there. 1 minute later the waitress came and said the kitchen was closed. Closes at 7:30 p.m. I look at her and say: Are you serious? Are you kidding me? She means: kitchen closed. I look at the clock 7:32 p.m. And ask them about 2 minutes, they don't want to give us anything to eat? Your answer: Kitchen is closed. But we are still open until 8 p.m. I've really never experienced anything like that before. Because of 2 minutes? Although we took a seat and put it down and can't we say something beforehand? Just smile stupidly? Apparently you don't depend on customers. I feel very resentful and will now never enter this restaurant again!

Unfortunately far too expensive. Children's menu, small portion of fries with just one Wienerli 12.50. (Self-service). The fries weren't even really good. The tables are not cleaned either. It's a shame for the swimming pool, which we really appreciate.

Food is OK but overpriced for a Badi restaurant. Prices are about the same as in a restaurant, but you have to get the food yourself from the buffet.

The staff is very friendly, but the prices are way too expensive and you wait forever for the food... and we didn't eat well the three times either... It's a shame because the ambience and decor are nice and as I said, the staff is friendly.

Far too expensive, we paid 60 CHF for 1 children's menu, 2 menus and 1 beer. The food wasn't worth that price. If only it had tasted good... cheap pressed chicken nuggets that you can get better frozen in a discount store. We never eat there anymore.

I wanted to order a vegetarian menu for my child: none! For kids there is only the usual Badifood with meat variants. So I decide on fries with carrots and have to pay more for them than the children's menu. My feedback directly to the staff is only accepted in English. I don't think the feedback gets through to the manager. Probably not on this channel either. 😓

I ordered fries and chicken nuggets, the fries weren't crispy, they were crispy, they were edible but there are definitely better options The chicken nuggets were okay But I think 22.60 is a bit expensive for a large portion of chicken nuggets with fries and 1 drink

Try the weekly lunch special without hesitation. Very worth it.

Beautiful restaurant not at all like usual Badi bistros. I would also eat there if I don't go swimming. The food and the offerings are great and the prices are reasonable and fair. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I was there with my two children (one a baby) and the staff was very helpful. The children's menu is very large and has lots of great things which justifies the price. We'll be there again on May 27th to celebrate my daughter's birthday. It was beautifully decorated and the food was really great. Something was always brought back when it ran out and drinks were also provided. The prices are reasonable because the quality is great. Many thanks to the team and owners of Beach House Delfin. We'd love to come back.

Badi-Beiz with the usual offer. Price-performance ratio is not right. Paid 17 francs today for 2 ice creams and 2 small bags of gummy bears or something. Last time the cashier tried to charge me twice because she didn't have control of the cash register. BEWARE.

Unfortunately the prices are too overpriced... A family of four spent more than 110 euros for a meal. The previous owner (Coop) was far cheaper, which is a shame....

The menu selection is okay; Depending on the chef, the waiting time is far too long. The absolute no-go, however, is that vegan falafel, chicken nuggets and fries are all fried in the same oil. Totally disgusting. I will avoid this restaurant in the future…

According to the signage, the kitchen is open until 7:30 p.m. We were at the counter around 7:28 p.m. to see what we wanted to eat. We wanted to order at around 7.31 p.m.... Answer from the "boss", there is nothing left. Only until 7.30 p.m. ?hello??.. I also realize that at some point you want to finish work, but in a swimming pool restaurant where there are still people indoors and outdoors and it's a nice evening, I expect a little more flexibility from the host. The furnishings and the atmosphere are much nicer and more "appealing" than at the Coopresti.. but the prices are also no longer Coop prices, which is understandable but rather in the upper price segment for an indoor pool Resti.

It was my first time in this restaurant with my 3-year-old daughter and it certainly won't be our last time there. Very nicely decorated, super friendly staff and the food tastes great...The children's menu is great and well thought out. This is by FAR the best Badi restaurant I have ever seen. Keep it up You would have received more stars from me, unfortunately only 5 is possible :)

We were in the indoor pool and wanted to eat something quick. The newly renovated restaurant looks beautiful. The offer looks good but we had to wait almost 15 minutes before we could order something. There was only 1 person behind the counter and the line kept getting longer. They do it with dedication, but the concept is not the optimal one for a bathroom. The staff was very friendly. We paid around 60 CHF for chicken wings and pizza and a drink. Too expensive in my opinion. It should have a cheap menu for children like before. We were a little disappointed, but we'll definitely come back in the summer and see if anything has changed.
