Extraordinary ! In this word hides an extraordinary experience - beef like we have never eaten before: Swiss Prime Rib, Australian Ribeye, Wagyu and Kobe from Japan but also - incredible starters like tartare - perfect accompaniments including sweet potatoes and carrots - and a surprising dessert, fresh and so right in terms of flavors around the olive. But also a very nice wine list and surprising digestives. The service and team are incredible! All in a magnificent setting. Thank you very much for this extraordinary moment.

Excellent meats (Italian beef, Australian wagu and Italian veal), cooking close to perfection (which is rare in Switzerland unfortunately), very good accompaniments and service with a simple smile. For my part, the only downside is inherent to the place and the success, it was a little noisy. You can go there with your eyes closed, it's a safe bet and above all one of the best places to eat good meat!

The overall dinner experience was excellent. Food was delicious, Vanessa who was our waiter was very helpful and recommended the top choices, and the restaurant decorations and ambiance was very nice. Would definitely return.

No, this is not a grill restaurant. This is a place where meat and its taste are at the center of attention, where quantity will not win over the quality of an extraordinary tasting experience. The meat is sufficient in itself. Even if there are few, it's part of the game. Why not get out of this hellish train where we consume quickly and a lot? Here, you will have to take the time to taste and therefore break away from the habits of our society. This game is worth the effort. And with all this, a good atmosphere, friendly, smiling and attentive servers who even dare to offer “discovery sides”. Besides, trust their advice, the bib is crazy. There's just one thing missing though... the meat dessert. I can send the recipes composed today which will make you become world famous. In summary, thank you for this rare moment of sharing both between guests and with the team where we go out, for a special moment, about our habits, our consumption.

Delicious meal but service not up to par at all!!! There were 4 of us and we stayed at the table for 3.5 hours for a starter and a main course! The waiter only came 3 times to take the order and serve! Nothing to drink! Impossible to have a server!! + 3 errors in the order, that's a lot for this price!

Very good in all aspects, excellent start! I find it a shame to charge 5.- for tap water. There are little things that stand out and make the difference. A little attention would have been nice.

EDITED REVIEW (FEB 10) My original review below was an exceptional experience with 5* food & experience. My 2nd time here - not quite the same experience - it didnt feel right to mislead with my original 5* review which may have been a 1 time. Perhaps it was the late service. But the food came out 'almost' cold, including the Cote de Beouf (and we are very fast eaters, sometime too fast so it wasn't an issue of letting the food go cold). The waiters are very friendly and welcoming - but you can be left waiting for ages which is incredibly frustrating. For the price, the Entrecote was a better experience than the sharing and much more expensive, Cote de Beouf. I am not sure for the price, and my experience this 2nd time, if I will be so excited to come back anytime soon. That being said - it is still much better than most restaurants in lausanne - but at the price tag, I would expect a little more attentive service. REVIEW 1 (JAN 8) First time dining here, for my partner's birthday. Not a huge fan of restaurant/dining quality in Switzerland, so we kept our expectations safe. Great surprise and exceptional service. The tall blonde woman and the super cool guy with the glasses (clearly didn't get their names), really made the experience. Very helpful, attentive, professional, funny and friendly. Considering there was a domestic situation with a couple on another table - even though entertaining but also very disturbing - the staff were discreet. Next time such behaviour should be immediately thrown out of the restaurant. Yes it's expensive but it's a treat and correct for the quality. The potato puree exceptional. The deserts really nice just missing a chocolate fondant option for this type of eatery. The finale was the digestive offering for the birthday celebration - the fact he had a glass with us was really cool, engaging, interacting. Really magnificent restaurant, very nice atmosphere, young and trendy decoration. The staff are smiling, attentive and very welcoming. We came to eat there accompanied by our dog (large size) and we were very well received, the staff put us at a table with room for him and he received a bowl of water. The menu offers a wide choice of meat and side dishes. The starters and dishes we had were all very good. I recommend it 1000% for meat lovers and want to enjoy a beautiful and good piece of meat cooked to perfection.

The classic, upscale steak house in the heart of the city. Excellent quality of meat from the 4 corners of the world and of course excellent local as well. Good selection of wines but mainly on the upper tier. Staff is very friendly and service in general is ok with some details that can be better. Very nice evening and first experience but as I said, in general and the prices towards the high tier.

Simply incredible meats! You pay for quality.

A very good wagyu burger, for once with ingredients that leave space to the meat (don't expect a random crispy tomato which overwhelms the softness of the wagyu). The veal was amazingly cooked! You're presented some daily meat as well that are off menus. Really delicious looking pieces. I read some comments about the size of the wine list. Which is fair enough, it's not 100 pages long like we can see in some high standing restaurants, but you'll always find something that accompanies well what you're having. Just ask their friendly staff and accept to be surprised. A bit disappointed with the fries coming with the burger, which were not crispy enough. Heads-up: the atmosphere is very lively and almost loud.

I recommend this address if you want to eat excellent meat in a pretty decor.

A 150 gr tagliata. For 39 francs it's exaggerated. In addition, supplement of 6 francs for fries, the same for a sauce and the same for vegetables. That makes us the tagliata for 57 francs!! In addition, upstairs, cooking smells rise and the air becomes unbreathable.

Superb selection of beef from different cuts and origins. The chef prepares these pieces masterfully. The service is very friendly and very professional with proven know-how. The wine list is perfect, with diverse origins and varied prices. Open Sunday evening!

I would avoid this place. Service was inexistant, food was average. Meat was nothing special quality wise and fries were soggy and oily.. sauces were tasteless. For the price, you have way better places to go to and have a real dinning experience. Atmosphere was industrial and cold.
