I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and the food was undoubtedly first class. The creative mix of dishes and recommended wines impressed my colleagues. Nevertheless, one question remains: Why are the prices so high, as is often the case in Switzerland? This aspect somewhat spoiled the overall impression. Worth considering, even if only a small deduction for your wallet.

Very nice establishment, gentle and pleasant. Magnificent view. Very friendly and good-willed staff. When it comes to cooking, it’s a little more complicated. As a starter, poached egg very good but almost cold. As a dish, ravioli, in fact it is a huge ravioli which is quite “heavy”. Concerning the wines, out of two ordered: none were from the right year. 2020 instead of 2019 and 2022 instead of 2018. Too bad, because it is a magnificent establishment.

One of, if not the, most beautiful view in this city. The view of the old town from the terrace is hard to beat. Terrace is very comfortable and shady.

We discovered the Belvédère thanks to the gourmet passport. The place is very pretty with a pretty garden and 3 small rooms and a view of the old town and the Sarine. On the ground floor there is the bar with a view of the sarine. The service is excellent, the waitress efficient and friendly. The card is very pretty and very well done. We had the menu with a bottle of wine and a bottle of water. The dishes are visually very beautiful and excellent. Thank you to the entire team for your dedication and the quality of your work. Thank you for this wonderful culinary moment!

You have to go eat in this restaurant to appreciate the magnificent setting and the cool but professional service of these young people. It was excellent, impeccable quality and price. The only downside is that it’s super complicated to park! Take some time to get there...

The ambience is beautiful with a view over the old town of Friborg. Unfortunately our 2 Aperols weren't great. Bartender was rather unfriendly and not very hospitable. Rather ideal for comfortably enjoying a beer with a beautiful view.

Very nice terrace with a beautiful view of the city of Friborg and its surroundings. Mostly frequented by young people but the atmosphere is very relaxing and quite calm.

New lunch menu every day. The dishes are good and very fair! The service is impeccable (we were lucky enough to be almost alone on the terrace) The view is beautiful ! No complaints !

I went in for lunch quite late and without references and made the menu. The main course was very well cooked (excellent), highly recommended.

Exceptional view but I found the toilets dirty, lack of hygiene inside too and inappropriate waitress. 4.- the coffee.... Really just the view that I liked

great view and interior, that's what you're paying for when you enter this café. when you go to a place called "café", you expect delicious coffee made by a professional barista. instead you get a weird machine cappuccino for 5,50 CHF where there is more foam in the cup than liquid. it's frustrating

We came with friends to discover this restaurant and it really deserves to be known. Pictures speak louder than words, but still, in one word: delicious! We really had a great time. Mentions to the friendly waiters and good advice.

When chance does things well, an exchange between tourists in a street in Friborg, who recommends this place to us (they were coming from there) and hop, turn around! What a treat at the restaurant with the menu for 25 Swiss francs, delicious 😋, a deep and superb list of local wines or elsewhere, local craft beer (la frimousse), top service and a truly atypical outdoor terrace. …5 out of 5 and 200% recommendation. The café - just below the restaurant - also seemed to be a place for students or young professionals sheltered by large trees in a tangy and retro decoration 😉

The waiter's attention has been great, apart from the fact that he can communicate with customers in several languages. And the best thing is that we were able to order the pizza from somewhere else to have dinner there and accompany it with a good beer. Good views, perfect place to enjoy the city. We will return for sure!

We had reservations for brunch at 12:30 p.m. because there was no room before. However, when we arrived, no place was available, we had to wait 20 minutes. Additionally, the brunch buffet was half empty and nothing was returned. So we paid the same price as the others, but with a half-empty buffet (no more braid, cuchaule, no hot food, no more salmon, no more dessert, and so on...). When paying, we notified the waitress of these different points and our dissatisfaction, hoping for a small gesture from them, which was not the case... Very disappointed with the service for the asking price...

Belvédère exceeded all of my expectations. Both on venue itself as the food. If I'd known sooner, I would have gone more often already. We took the suggestion menu and every single dish made me wanting more 😀. That combined with the attentive service, the view both outside on the rooftop terrace as well as inside one of the oldest buildings of the city, makes this a top address.

We stopped in for an espresso and were very happy! Friendly service, excellent drinks (including one Guinness pint), typical Swiss pricing. Spend a moment to take in the view from their outside seating. Amazing!

Brunch with many very good vegetarian options, affordable price (36chf). I recommend going in spring for the crazy view from the terrace.

The place is magnificent but unfortunately, having been there several times, the service at the café leaves something to be desired. Endless unjustified queues.

My daughter wanted to introduce me to this unique restaurant. Yesterday we went for brunch. Nice surprise, this unique establishment simply blew me away. At your discretion: full buffet, self-service. Misconduct: cutting bread not protected. No linen, no towels. No carafe of water, as you wish! Neither. The toilet, messy, turned my heart. Sink without water. All of this deserves to be valued. All we can do is hope.

Nice bar with a great balcony where you can enjoy the great view of the old town and the Saane while drinking a beer. The staff is very friendly. We even had piano accompaniment during our visit. Was a nice stay.

With my friends we ordered a drink each while looking at Pamela who had been bilingual for two weeks, in short that's not the subject.
