Hello everyone On January 11, 24, we set out on snowshoes at 8 a.m. and took public transport from Zurich to Lake Arnisee, where we first had a starter coffee or Ovi with fine nuts or almond peaks and the wonderful mountain view at the Berggasthaus Alpenblick Enjoyed sunshine. Awesome!! The sleeping barrels have everything you need (heating, light, electricity, comfortable bed) and everyone is super friendly and helpful. Feels a bit like coming home to your family, in a beautiful snowy environment. RECOMMENDED!!!!

The two of us were allowed to spend an overnight stay here as the only guests. We were well looked after so that nothing was left to be desired. There was even a vegan 3-course meal. The food is a culinary delight and I would come back just for the food alone! The weather was adverse, but despite all odds, the entire wellness area was prepared for us. The sauna with the cute relaxation room and the whirlpool are a dream. We were able to enjoy our undisturbed togetherness with plenty of snow. The fibers are very comfortable and equipped with state-of-the-art fan heaters from Dyson, they are quiet and there is no chance of getting burned. When we got up in the morning, the path to the Buvet was cleared. The breakfast buffet is very varied and, like the dinner, impresses with countless homemade foods. We celebrated a two-day family celebration in a relaxed, informal atmosphere in this simple, beautifully decorated mountain inn with 18 people. The 3-course menu from the Feuerring was a delight for the eyes and mouth. Everything tasted excellent. The breakfast buffet was sufficiently stocked with muesli, meat, cheese, etc. and freshly baked, crusty bread. The rooms with bunk beds are small, simple and clean, as are the wet rooms with showers. For the second time we spent a wonderful night with Mirjam and Osi in the original sleeping barrel. It is always something special for us to spend the night in such a small yet homely and comfortable space. This time the weather didn't cooperate, so we took advantage of this for a private sauna session in the sauna barrel with rest periods in the "Gondeli". For dinner, the obligatory Cordon Bleu combined with delicious salad variations, a fine wine and a special dessert. We also took a walk around the beautiful Arnisee on Sunday morning. We appreciate the hospitality of the entire staff and are happy to come back to this peaceful and beautiful place at any time.

No soup of the day or vegetable plate...The cordon bleu had a relatively tasteless, rather dry breading that was actually a little too long and probably prepared in the deep fryer. The vegetables on the plate were about 4 small pieces... So I definitely won't go back because of the food...

I’m giving 2 stars because they are quite nice; and I’m writing a review because: the quality of the service is not in concordance with the prices - also I had to go in and just order drinks, as no one was showing up to take orders (15 minutes waiting time to get a menu - so I gave up after another 7 minutes) I know sometimes you are overbooked but in this case you should hire as much staff to cover the crowd who might also spend some money at your place - regardless if they are alone, in groups or whatever. so if you are alone go to another place ☺️otherwise you’ll wait a lot to get something.

I really liked the terrace with the evening sun and the location next to the cable station tempted me to have a glass of wine as a nice end to the hike. The service was friendly and cheerful. Yesterday we, a group of 6 people, wanted to have lunch at this restaurant. We go in, sit down and the waitress comes in and gives us an angry look from the first moment. My friend ordered a "hut coffee" to which the waitress immediately attacked him and said that they were not a "hut" and it was a "house coffee". At that moment we should have gotten up and left... then our three and a half year old göttibueb picks up a decoration to look at it and the waitress takes it out of his hand and hits us again with her look "he's not a baby anymore , he is not allowed to play with the decoration!".
