Berghaus Foppa in Flims

Beautiful terrace, authentic food and always friendly service. A piece of Flims history that welcomes visitors of all ages in a familiar context. We look forward to new future projects!

We were at Berghaus Foppa a few weeks ago and ordered “Ghackets with Hörnli”. After sitting at the untidy and uncleaned table for about 40 minutes, we were served food. The quality was disappointing, the croissants were overcooked and watery... (warmed up??), the meat was dry and tasteless. The service (spoke poor German) was inattentive and slow. All in all a bad experience and we wouldn't return to this restaurant.

Unfortunately, the cheese spaetzle was bland and the roasted onions turned out to be fried lumps of onions that were definitely not freshly prepared. It's a shame because we were looking forward to the start of the winter season. We hope that the quality will be raised to last year's level.

Visiting Berghaus Foppa for Lunch. Situated in a very nice location with panoramic view that can be enjoyed from the terrace, the restaurant offers Swiss and Austrian cuisine. The food was good, however pricey, and there are certainly places that do just as well or even slightly better for a more competitive price.

Sxhöne terrace, great service. Large portions and very good quality food. Lots of space inside and outside. Good home cooking, matching the surroundings. A nice place, for example as a destination for a hike from Flims.

We had dinner as a group during the night tobogganing and had a great stay at the Berghaus Foppa! The atmosphere was cozy and the service was very friendly. If you're not a fan of fondue, there are still a few other alternatives on the toboggan menu. The portions were quite large and the prices were absolutely reasonable for a mountain hut. I can definitely recommend Berghaus Foppa and give it 5 stars for a great evening with good food and pleasant company!

Fondue 🫕 recommended. Capuns require more seasoning.

We weren't satisfied at all. Worst ghackets with croissants we've ever had, our daughter couldn't eat them. Otherwise overpriced - children's fries CHF 9.-

Great restaurant in the mountains! Very friendly staff and good, fresh cuisine. There are various home-made dishes for small or large appetites. Fine cakes, Kaiserschmarren and good coffee. We went there twice at lunchtime because the ambience, the food, the staff and the view all fit together. Thank you !

Very tasty Graubünden and Austrian dishes, but quite expensive! 3 Capunz for 31.- CHF... Service was very friendly! We were able to enjoy the Donne on the terrace.

After sitting on the terrace of the Berghaus Foppa in the summer of 2020, we went back there (several times) last week in bright sunshine and snow. No matter whether it was barley soup, strudel, Kasspatzen, schnitzel, sausage salad or Älpler macaroni - everything simply tasted very good! The service was very attentive, fast and friendly (also to our dog! :)) - we felt really comfortable. Thank you for that!

Was here for a wedding. Super organized, nice service and delicious food. We were even chauffeured back to the hotel with our boy after midnight! Very accommodating and recommended.

Coffee was good. However, in the middle of the afternoon there is no more cake or Toblerone ice cream.

After the hike with the dog, it was the ideal stop for us to enjoy delicious tarte flambée with friendly hosts.

Great view, nice service, large terrace with parasols and further back a few seats in the green in old chairlift seats. The portions are small for a restaurant in the mountains, but you won't hesitate to get seconds if you ask.

The food is really tasty, but the portions are puny. However, if you ask, you can get a second helping from the friendly staff.

Walked along the waterway from Laax, a beautiful hiking route. Once at the top we received quick service and had a beautiful panorama. To eat Gordon Bleu, brathandel salad, a burger, garlic bread and goulash soup. Everything very fine at fair prices. The return to Laax with the trotinett. Next time we want to do the whole waterway. Gladly again.

Child-friendly, always very friendly, food comes relatively quickly, even when there are a lot of people, the menu is simple, clear and has something for everyone. Friendly atmosphere on the large terrace.

Kung Fu Panda makes super hot chicken nuggets, super nice serving nozzles, easily accessible by chairlift.

Once again a stop at the hut with delicious, fluffy Kaiserschmarrn. The service and everything about it was perfect🍀👍

Easy and very beautiful hike from Fidaz up to the Rest. Foppa. Also easy to do in the mid-season. You can see eagles, chamois and newly born donkeys taking their first steps.

Very friendly staff despite the takeaway effort. The food also tasted very good.

Always worth a visit. Friendly and you won't be disappointed in terms of cuisine either.

Take Away well organized during Corona time. Prices for ski area OK and fair.

Mountain hut with Ghobeñer gastronomy

Good mountain cuisine and friendly staff!

The restaurant was full, we were still able to sit outside and so that the rain didn't reach us, the sun awning was rolled out to protect us. We were a group of 10 people and despite being busy, we were able to order drinks and food relatively quickly. The food understandably took a while, but it was very good (I can recommend the classic tarte flambée). We would have liked more blankets (unfortunately there weren't according to the waiter) and the mulled wine was unfortunately only lukewarm. Otherwise everything is very good. Protection concept was consistently implemented.

Reachable on foot with a short hike up the mountain or comfortably with the chair lift (although this ride is a little more expensive, around 17 francs one way, but the restaurant can't do anything about that). In the restaurant you can enjoy a small snack or have a whole meal. The service is very nice.

A little refreshment before we continue. But I can also recommend Foppa for big stories.

Disaster, ice cream arrived after 1 hour, the ice cream was dropped on a backpack and in general total chaos.

Waiter forgot our food and wouldn't even apologize after we had to wait for over an hour. When it came, the grossly overpriced club sandwich was practically uneatable. Staff in general seemed to be out of their depth.
