When the weather was nice we were able to enjoy our Sunday here. The service and ambience are simply amazing up here. See you again soon

The service was relatively quick and the servers were friendly, inside was warm and cosy. The raclette dish was OK, but not so bad considering that we were on the pistes. They are gluten-free friendly.

15.50 for an apple strudel that is full of threads (saffron?) that stick to the whole thing and is smaller than anywhere else in Davos is pretty outrageous.

Great restaurant at the summit. Great with children! The only drawback is that it is well attended, reservations are recommended, especially with a few more people.

Always the best place to enjoy the sun of Jokobshorn. Really good food and lots of music to enjoy.

An excellent mountain restaurant, the food is top! We were on a skiing holiday with the family and ate and drank here every day. The pizza is recommended. The service is also extremely friendly and accommodating. The outside bar in particular is great and the bartender at the bar is in a different league. It was a pleasure!

While skiing on Jackobshorn, stopping at [the] restaurant is a must. However, the food could be better. The pizza looked yummy, so I plan to try it next time.

After we were greeted incredibly warmly in this great, cozy hut, we were given very competent and quick advice and served by a very cheerful, warm young lady. The food was fantastic and an extraordinary experience on this well-preserved, manicured terrace. Refreshingly different after being accused of incompetence at the valley station after criticism from me and recommending that I look for another ski area...

Unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated over the last year. The pizza was unsatisfactory and the waiter's constant attempt to sell every 5 minutes was disruptive. From 3:00 p.m. someone started clearing the snow from the ground, which was accompanied by loud tool noise and spoiled the atmosphere. Despite the great view and location, it was unfortunate that the food was disappointing.

Wow, what a hut!!! Enjoyed the day to the fullest with great weather and the panorama. Traditional hut, excellent food and super nice staff. The loungers in the outdoor area alone are amazing with the panorama and that includes service. It left nothing to be desired. Any time

Good, tasty food, there is a bit of everything on the menu and always great daily menus. Service super friendly and uncomplicated. Great mountain panorama to eat outside, enjoy a drink at the bar or relax on the sun loungers.

Quick and efficient service despite the crowd. The food is classic Swiss mountain food. The rösti is massive, with a ton of cheese.

When you arrive at Jakobshorn you can take another gondola to the mountain restaurant (approx. 2 minutes travel time). The food selection is very generous. Good infrastructure on site.

What could be better than stopping off at Chalet Güggel in bright sunshine and the best piste conditions. The service is always friendly and on the ball, even when it's busy! At lunchtime I decided on “pulled pork” with fries and lentil salad. Very generous portion and for CHF 24 a good price/performance ratio. Gladly again 😉

Nice mountain restaurant, friendly staff. We were there on a Saturday and there were a lot of people. After 20 minutes we had a great place.

We were on the upper terrace and had a great view of the mountains. The service was very friendly and uncomplicated and the food came quickly. The fries were very tasty & crispy! We will be back :-)

Food was already cold when served. The prices are now simply outrageous considering that you still have to order yourself. At least the food is delivered quickly.

When you're in Davos, you definitely shouldn't miss the pizza from the Chalet Güggel mountain restaurant. These pizzas are incredibly good. Also great service. Very friendly. Beautiful cabin.

Excellent food; By far the best Älplermagronen I've ever had 😍 and that with a unique mountain panorama, a super cozy atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. Service was also super fast, even though it was busy. Top recommendation!!

The Goulash Suppe and Bratwurst are good. Really nice wooden hut, very welcoming. Unfortunately the food arrived very far apart from each other. Now that the Bratwurst arrived others were already at the cafe

The plates weren't heated, so I got a large slice of cheese instead of the raclette I ordered. The service also leaves a lot to be desired. Since it's cold and windy you ask for a wool blanket, the staff say they'll get one but never get back to you. This happened twice. Everything is also disproportionately expensive.

Well located ski hut, also easily accessible for pedestrians. Beautiful sun terrace and plenty of seating inside and outside. The menu has both typical ski hut dishes (e.g. Älplermakroni) and fine cuisine (e.g. beef fillet with Café de Paris), the restaurant team can cook both very well.

Great reggae music, sun terrace, directly under the bubble lift, padded beer benches and on-the-fly staff. Daily menus and delicious pizzas. Lounge chairs on the lower floor. It's worth coming before 12 p.m. on weekends or making a reservation

Every year, a nice event there. Service really great! (The weather in March is always fantastic). The Rösti taste good in the big pan!

Spot on to have fun prior to the last run down to Davos.

Located directly on the piste below the summit and also easy to reach on foot. Friendly service staff and a relaxed atmosphere indoors in bad weather or outside on the terrace in bright sunshine. If you want, you can also rent a deck chair for 25 per day. On our last visit, the food was ok as far as mountain huts go. Unfortunately the goulash soup wasn't warm. But it can happen. Overall, highly recommended for a stop. Reservations are recommended for larger groups.

The food tastes good, but some of the staff are very unfriendly. The Güggel was already sold out at 12.30 so we had to eat bratwurst. The worst point is that the deck chairs are PAYABLE!!! Furthermore, the music is extremely bad.

The service was very nice, the food was good, but the organization was terrible. We waited for food 1h 10m. We didn't get a starter to at least partially satisfy our hunger.

Good food. Good service. Cosy inside and sunny outside. Good for people that cannot ski, as it is directly connected with a small cable car to the Jakobshorn.

It would have been better to leave it alone than to open it so incompetently. More expensive and bad food but that's not new. What's new now is that you have to wait in line for a good hour even though there isn't much going on because the people at the checkout are extremely incompetent.

It was well attended, but the waiting time was relatively short. The food tastes good for a ski hut, the complaint was accepted without any ifs and buts, it then came new and better. The staff is friendly and not fussy.

Top hut right by the lift. After a long day on the slopes, it's just the thing for a cold beer or soup.

Very rustic/cute and decent (which means excellent) Swiss mountain food. However, should your timing be right so that you are there when the outdoor grill is fired up then you can get the best bratwurst around!

A wonderful view and the food is pretty good. Very expensive, but it's a high-altitude restaurant in Switzerland, that's normal!

Ate yesterday on the terrace in the sunshine, servela and rösti both at most lukewarm, servela pre-cooked and watery, good music and ambience but food better elsewhere

My family and I have enjoyed going to the Güggel-Alm for three years when we went skiing on the Jakobshorn in Davos. Good food, friendly service, we were always very satisfied. Unfortunately not at all today, which wasn't due to the food, but rather to the very unfriendly service. I wanted to eat a mixed salad: on the menu in the chalet itself there was this one with croutons and strips of bacon. When the salad was served, the bacon strips were missing. I didn't pay much attention to it at the moment and thought that it was perhaps a "normal" mixed salad from the menu from the terrace outside. When the waitress came to settle the bill, I informed her that it was a salad without strips of bacon, assuming that the price would be reduced slightly. The service, which by the way had not been particularly polite before (asked rudely when we ordered, slammed the bottles and glasses on the table), very quickly became annoyed. She said that I should have complained about it at the beginning, not at the end, then she could have delivered the strips of bacon later, and how could I prove that now in hindsight. Of course she was right, and that wasn't actually the problem, but rather the way in which she kept pointing out my "failure" and that she was actually very reluctant to give me a discount. I felt very uncomfortable, she also spoke very loudly, and I was embarrassed in front of the person sitting next to me, but I remained calm on the outside. At some point I finally spoke up and said that this comment should probably still be allowed, whereupon she literally described it as an “insolence”. This waitress, who is probably at least 20 years younger than me, showed a complete lack of respect. In our opinion, the service is less good and there is still a lot to learn. We probably won't go to the Güggel Alm again, it's a shame, we really enjoyed being guests there before. Therefore only 1 point, previously it would have been 4 or maybe even 5.

Beautiful and in the sun all day. The food is delicious and the service staff is very nice and usually quick. However, when it gets full it sometimes gets stuck. The prices for food and drinks are at a high level and certainly not entirely justified, but they are certainly typical for the area. But the food served is really tasty. The sanitary facilities are in poor condition with torn toilet seats and unclean toilets. With so many visitors, you should also clean here during the day. Unfortunately it's unreasonable. The chalet is easily accessible via the cable car, even for those who are lazy on foot, and is therefore definitely worth a trip.

February, Saturday, nice weather. The place was very crowded. In addition, you unfortunately don't get much for your money: just under 30 francs for a Bündnerplatte, which won't leave you full afterwards. You definitely get more for your money elsewhere!

Sorry, my husband waited for 50 mins for a simple macaroni and still did not get any food. asked several time different waiters but no food coming.
