Everything is great, the food is prepared with a lot of love and commitment and highly recommended. Service very friendly and accommodating. The overnight stay was perfect with a good breakfast. You immediately feel at home with your hosts. Thank you for the nice weekend. We will be back.

Eating takes over an hour. Hot dog takes far too long, croissants from the children's menu, completely overcooked, not seasoned (no butter) and served cold! Such little things that matter so much that could be fixed.

Cool atmosphere and very friendly staff. I had one of the best white wine risottos, great food and enough!! We were completely satisfied, keep it up!

We were at the Madrisa-Hof Essen during the autumn holidays. As a family we had the huge pot of minced croissants and apple sauce and the portion was very tasty and absolutely enough! Sven provided super friendly service and even gave us hiking tips. So an absolutely successful lunch break.

A very nice location. It's just no use if you wait 1:15 hours for a hot dog and a children's portion of croissants (without ghackets). If this is normal: not recommended. Unfortunately. Not at all. Absolutely not. By the way, it was the same for all the tables around.

One star deducted because unfortunately they no longer have the craft beer. But the pizza is brilliant and I was looked after very well, which I rewarded with a generous tip.

Were invited to a wedding. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Highly recommended

Very nice mountain restaurant with a great outdoor terrace, the service was very courteous and friendly. The pizza had plenty of toppings and fresh chanterelles were also very good for the pizzaolo. Price performance is completely justified, a fine clace couldn't be missed.

The Madrisa Hof is a full-service restaurant with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, that's not enough to be a good restaurant. The food was ok, the pizza was bland and not topped enough. Why isn't the pizza served at the same time as the other dishes? I find both the pizza selection and the food selection too small and rather expensive. The service was unfriendly, chaotic and hectic. (Although in my opinion there wasn't much going on and rather a lot of staff in service). The homemade iced tea tasted like nothing. In the middle of the terrace there are several fixed bench tables next to the normal tables. I don't think that looks nice.

30 min. Waited until we could order something and then another 40 minutes. Waited until we were allowed to pay and were then shouted at stupidly. Good cuisine, unfriendly staff.

Pizza was great, but complete chaos with the orders, after a complaint and 50 minutes later the pizza arrived, albeit without a napkin.

A visit is always worthwhile!!! Was on September 17th. 22 Booked as a DJ for a wedding. The guests and I were pampered from A to Z. The staff was super friendly all evening. The food is not sensational like in many other mountain restaurants. So I can only recommend it and will certainly stop by as a guest.

Extremely good, friendly service and extremely child-friendly. From homemade iced tea to homemade spaetzle to alpine herb ice cream. Also very nicely decorated. Highly recommended. We were there in the summer.

We had wonderful service! Nicole was humorous, friendly and quick. We had our drinks and food in front of us in no time. The ice cream was also better than in the pictures and tasted fantastic! Sven was nice too.

Half restaurant, half self-service - you can't get a seat in the restaurant without a reservation and in the self-service resti there are only 3-4 different dishes to eat, not even fries, but it tastes ok. On the other hand, the prices are once again cheeky (see photo of the menu: sausage with bread 8.50 CHF, sausage with potato salad 18.50 CHF??? Even though the potato salad alone only costs 8 CHF??? Don't you understand...) Man It can certainly sit nicely but eating is not recommended.

Today we had a dream day on Madrisa, in the Madrisa farm we ate a super delicious goulash soup and minced meat with Hörli and finally an apple strudel with vanilla sauce, really a treat... we'll be back, great cuisine and that as a take away , keep it up 👍

The food is good (pizza highly recommended!) and the service is great! When the weather is nice there is also seating outside

The restaurant is super nice, cozy atmosphere, super nice service staff, the pizzas are good, the rest of the kitchen is not good, run of the mill sauces and way too expensive!!! Everything extra for side dishes with meat. It's a shame about the beautiful place and the great staff!!

This much expanded version on a site nearer to the cable car station is a definite improvement on the older premises.

We had to order three times until we didn't even have the right menu. The first time the spagetthi was cold and unseasoned Still the second time. Half-eaten fries and warm ketchup for cold spaghetti. Greasy plates and 13 year olds get baby plates. And then 14 francs for a cold little schitzel, preferably 0 stars, no recommendation

Great atmosphere and view. We were served very friendly and courteously by Kenny and Simone, among others.

The place is very beautiful and the terrace is also very beautiful but that stops there..... the prices are exorbitant.....!!! we ordered mixed meatballs not even just beef 5 SMALL PIECES.. . puree not even homemade powder... and 3 vegetables which this course afterwards..... for 23 chf luckily I wasn't too hungry...... is a bottle of cider a 7 chf...... no thank you

Lots of guests on the terrace. Some of the staff were a bit overwhelmed but willing, nice and tired of the season. I think they were also a bit overwhelmed with ordering using modern technology. THE PRODUCTS are on average overpriced. As a big fan of Madrisa, I would like to give my honest review. MFG

If you want exercise, then skiing, hiking or even flying in the area. If you want peace and fresh air... you have that too. At 1887 m above sea level. M. with a fantastic view and delicious food, Madrisa-Hof is simply WORTH a visit! (...because it's so great, you may not be alone, I recommend you forget about time!) 🌹

What a wonderful day of skiing on the Madrisa. The inn and its staff are simply sensational. But the food is also absolutely amazing. The burger was in a class of its own. The bun was crispy and the meat was medium fried. I had never had a better burger. The cheese went really well with the meat and together with the country potatoes it was a real treat. What was special was that there was A fine dipping sauce that rounded everything off perfectly. No matter what you order here, you can tell that it is prepared with passion. Many thanks from me and once again a big compliment to the kitchen and all the staff.👍👍👍 We'll be back .

Allow at least three quarters of an hour. Drink takes an hour and still not everything arrived. But service pissed off and pissed off. Well, customer service is different.

New Year's celebration in the beautiful Madrisahof above Klosters. While there was fog in the valley, we enjoyed a starry night with the highest culinary delights in the best company of interesting people. The ambience in the Madrisahof is authentically elegant and fits perfectly into the mountain world. Happy again at any time, highly recommended!

Beautifully decorated mountain restaurant, friendly staff and very fast service. The menu offers unexpectedly much and at very moderate prices. The food is very good, especially the pizza and salad are great. A trip here is definitely worth it.

Views are hard to beat on a sunny day. Musikanten Stadl inspired playlist can be an acquired taste.

Austrian themed restaurant (waiters in lederhosen, waitresses in dirndl, and Wiener schnitzel), nice atmosphere. The food quality is not perfect (I made the mistake of ordering a local 'Gerstensuppe' in an Austrian themed restaurant, and the soup tasted like one of them ready made powdered soups). The least pleasant part probably though is the unfriendly staff, who, to their defense were really stressed, but did not hesitate to pass that down to customers. They aggressively rushed us to pay and leave, and gave us quite an attitude at either of simple questions of if we could pay separately, and if we could pay with card. Compromise at the end was that she said she'd get the card device, but we'd be paying all together.

The Madrisa-Hof is a modern mountain restaurant with a large selection of food and drinks. The dishes are beautifully prepared and taste good. The service is friendly and quick. - Commendable: The restaurant also employs people with health problems.
